Born from the loss of Reuben Michael Graham in August 2012 at just 23 months old, Reuben's Retreat is a charity offering practical and emotional support to families of child loss and families who have a child living with medical complexities. Our Retreat is a sanctuary offering a space for families to relax, recharge, remember and rebuild and our aim is to relieve the distress of these families, walking side by side with them on their journey.
MAIN PURPOSE OF POST
- To work with the CEO and senior leadership team to create and implement the fundraising and engagement strategy for the organisation.
- To report to the CEO and Board of Trustees on the progress and delivery of the aims at regular intervals to be agreed with the CEO and to the Board at the agreed and planned Board meetings.

Job Purpose
As the Growth & Connection Coordinator you will lead the coordination of our flagship weekend event, a contemporary Rites of Passage Adventure (ROPA) for teenage boys. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grants Fundraiser with a proven track record of success, to secure vital funding for our services for individuals with a learning disability and autistic people. You will play a central role in our charity, responsible for driving forward one of our key income streams.
The Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager will develop a robust pipeline of potential funders and devise a plan to achieve our annual income target of £225,000 from repeat and new funders. Brief about the role

- Campaign & Content Management – Oversee retention campaigns, supporter materials, and content planning, ensuring effective engagement.
- Donor Journey Development – Plan and implement multi-channel donor journeys to enhance supporter experience and retention.
- Data & Insights – Use analysis and segmentation to improve donor engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination – Work with internal teams, external agencies, and suppliers to deliver high-quality supporter communications.
- Compliance & Best Practice – Ensure all donor journeys and campaigns meet GDPR, fundraising regulations, and industry best practices.
