The role
The postholder will lead on developing and delivering a first-class fundraising operations, data management, and supporter services function to support anticipated growth in our fundraising activity, especially public fundraising. The postholder will lead on the ultilisation and optimisation of our newly implemented Salesforce database and support a step-change in our supporter services function and wider fundraising business processes.
You will work closely with colleagues to develop new systems and lead on providing strong product management for the fundraising CRM and ensuring excellent supporter care and compliance across our fundraising streams. income processing. Main areas of responsibility
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide inspiring and motivating leadership and coaching for the Fundraising Operations team.

Stakeholder Management:

Salesforce Product Ownership:

Data Management, Analytics and Reporting:
- Ensure the development of our data architecture in line with business needs.
- Ensure all required imports into Salesforce are carried out, and errors are resolved.
- Ensure that our systems support robust income processing including tracking income sources and reconciliation processes with our finance system.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity for Fundraising, including performing regular data audits, cleaning, and deduplication.
- Work with the Data Analysis and Insights Manager to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting is provided to the Fundraising team, the Chief Income and Engagement Officer, and the Trustees.
- Ensure fundraising team leads are provided with data insights and analysis to facilitate the effective and data-led planning of fundraising activities and cultivation. Provide post-activity analysis to contribute to the department’s continuous improvement of its fundraising activities and thereby maximise income.
Fundraising Operations and Supporter Services:
- Ensure systems effectively support and prioritise workflow across the Fundraising Operations team and utilise to manage across the team.
- Accountable for accurate reconciliation of finance and Fundraising CRM systems within defined timeframe from month end.
- Accountable for the management of Gift Aid Declarations in Salesforce, and work with the Finance team to manage the monthly Gift Aid claim.
- Work with the Supporter Services and Compliance Manager and wider Fundraising team to ensure appropriate and complaint business processes are in place and kept up-to-date.
- Oversee the develop and management of robust processes for monitoring and responding to supporter complaints. Ensure the development and delivery of management information related to supporter complaints.
- Oversee the management of relationships with external fulfilment houses, payment providers (Stripe, GoCardless), and fundraising platforms (Enthuse, Just Giving, CAF, CAF America) on behalf of FareShare to ensure compliance and optimal supporter experience.
Fundraising Compliance, Policy Development and Risk Management:
- Work with the Fundraising team and with Fundraising SLT to ensure relevant and compliant policies are in place and kept up-to-date.
- Develop and implement approval processes to ensure compliance of Fundraising activities across all relevant areas of legislation (GDPR, PECR, Gift Aid, Code of Fundraising Practice)
- Work with the Fundraising and Marketing teams to ensure compliance in Data Protection legislation (GDPR and PECR) across fundraising campaigns and activities.
- Ensure DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments) are undertaken when needed and escalated as appropriate.
- Ensure all Fundraising Gift Aid processes and records are in line with HRMC requirements. Support the Finance team with any HRMC Gift Aid audit.
- Advise the Fundraising team on appropriate implementation of the Code of Fundraising Practice across their activities to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with FareShare gift acceptance policy through the management of the due diligence process.
- Be responsible for drafting and maintaining fundraising policies to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Experience in leading and managing a team or function, and strong motivator of people.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce or another similar CRM, particularly in relation to fundraising and donor management.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting within Salesforce or another similar CRM, particularly in relation to fundraising in a non-profit organisation.

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function, with community fundraising and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We’re now looking for an events assistant to play a key role within the team. Supporting the delivery of our varied portfolio of challenge events. Currently comprising of running events, triathlons, cycling events, overseas and UK challenges. You’ll engage thousands of fundraisers, acting as a first point of contact and an ambassador for the organisation to excite and retain our supporters. You’ll also have the opportunity to manage your own event.
This role is a vital role in the third party events team and is perfect for you, if you’re getting started in your fundraising career.
About you
We’re looking for an individual with a passion for charity fundraising and who has an excellent attention to detail. An understanding of and experience with administrative tasks such as data entry and working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
You’ll be the first point of contact with hundreds of our supporters, many of whom will be in touch via email, social media or by phone. So an understanding of using these channels and delivering customer service, particularly in the charity sector, is preferable. You should also have a demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and have experience of working as part of a team.
We’re a dedicated team with our supporters at the heart of what we do, if you’ve an interest in charity fundraising, supporter experiences and the associated administration, this could be the role for you.

World Horse Welfare is an international charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care. The International department is responsible for implementing the charity’s strategy in developing countries and aims to improve the welfare of as many working equids as possible.
We are seeking a project manager to join our International team to manage funds, budgets and accounts and become familiar with the working of local administration and legal requirements relating to partner organisations. This is not a role that is hands-on with Equids, you will be working with people who rely on them for their livelihoods in the community-based projects that underpin the charity’s presence in lower middle-income countries.
If you are a qualified Veterinarian this would be advantageous but not essential, as the focus of this role is Veterinary and Equid Welfare; ensuring that all practices by anyone associated with the programme are of an acceptable quality in terms of welfare and accepted professional veterinary standards. Working with Veterinary specialists you will co-ordinate all veterinary perspective discussions on interventions to address equine welfare across the programme. You will stay informed on current practices, related to Welfare and Veterinary intervention in terms of other organisations and institutions (including other welfare NGOs, Governments, or institutions such as WOAH) and represent World Horse Welfare in meetings, conferences, seminars and consultations concerning equine welfare.
Although UK based you will be required to travel internationally at least four times per year. This role is suitable for remote working, however, there is an expectation for attendance at our head office in Norfolk throughout the year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

For almost 50 years The Dash Charity has been supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, empowering women, men and children to recognise the tactics of abuse, break the cycle, and take back control of their lives.
We were one of the first charities in the UK to be awarded Leading Lights status for our Advocacy and Outreach Services by SafeLives, and pioneered healthy relationships workshops in schools over a decade ago.
We run three refuges that offer a sanctuary to women and children escaping violence and abuse, offering specialist children’s support and one to one support for women.
We’re now looking for an ambitious and dedicated individual to help us to secure essential funding to continue delivering our life-changing services into the future.
Role Purpose:
We are seeking an ambitious individual that cares about ending violence against women and girls, who is determined to make a difference for all adults and children experiencing domestic abuse. As The Dash Charity Development Officer, you will be responsible for seeking funding from trusts and foundations, to enable us to deliver life changing services and projects.
You will have excellent attention to detail and be willing to gain a strong understanding of how the charity works and the services we deliver by working closely with our frontline staff.
You will work with our Senior Management Team to understand the charity’s impact, identify funding opportunities, and contribute to strategic service development. You will have strong communication skills and be able to build good relationships with our funders.
There will be opportunities for future growth in this role, with the potential management of direct reports as we expand our team. Hybrid remote working with some attendance on-site at services in Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead to colaborate with colleagues.

We’re looking for a candidate with experience in a range of individual giving marketing, that can bring their knowledge, skills and experience to Refuge, enabling enable us to achieve our ambition to change attitudes, and policies around domestic abuse, and raise funds to support our vital services.
The Senior Individual Giving Executive is responsible for delivering agreed digital and direct marketing fundraising campaigns to recruit, retain and engage supporters; including telemarketing, direct-to-donate ads and email. You will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to support the delivery of key fundraising appeals throughout the year to generate one-off income and to grow our monthly giver file.
You will monitor and track results, KPIs, income and expenditure budgets to ensure we meet our targets. In addition, you will continually evaluate our activities, providing suggestions on new products and asks to test and areas for optimisation. By working collaboratively with the Digital, Engagement & Mobilisation team (DME) and specialist third parties you will help to deliver an integrated multi-channel programme of fundraising activity.
