Join our retail team as an Assistant Shop Manager at our Dorking shop and support the Shop Manager to maximise shop profit by achieving budgeted income, controlling shop expenditure in line with the shop's budget, and by recruiting and retaining a motivated team of volunteers. Income generation
- To support the Shop Manager to manage the Retail budget to achieve agreed targets:
- Help maximise shop sales by achieving agreed targets both through donated stock and bought in/new goods. This involves proactive stock generation, optimum pricing, processing stock to agreed amounts and stock planning.
- Achieve Gift Aid sales conversion target through maximising new donor sign up and encouraging repeat donations.
- Achieve the shops additional fundraising activities i.e., Christmas appeal sales targets through involving the shops team.
- Maintain high levels of shop presentation by merchandising and housekeeping to agreed standards as set out in the Shops Operations manual.

- To ensure adherence to The Children’s Trust policies and procedures, in particular ensuring full compliance of the shops in line with all Health & Safety legislation, Trading Standards, Risk Assessments, Gift Aid, Lottery and all other legal or statutory requirements:
- Assist in controlling shop expenditure through effective cost control of weekly expenses.
- Ensure minimum losses of both stock and cash by following bank and till procedures and safeguarding the property of The Children’s Trust at all times.

This is a new role at the DEC and developed as a key part of the DEC’s 2024-2029 strategy. The DEC has a wide range of established relationships with trusts and foundations, many of which give 6- and 7-figure sums to DEC appeals. The Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for providing excellent stewardship to our portfolio of trusts and foundations. The role
The Senior Network Fundraising Manager is a new and vital role, created to maximise income generation across FareShare’s national team and 18 Network Partners. This role is integral to driving collaboration and establishing a strategic approach to fundraising across multiple sites.
FareShare has a vibrant national fundraising department that has consistently grown the organisation’s new and existing income streams in recent years. As we have grown, so have our regional delivery partners, who are independent charities, each investing in their own fundraising to sustain larger operations. The Senior Network Fundraising Manager will join FareShare’s Fundraising Leadership Team to enhance these efforts through strategic collaboration and clearly defined ways of working to maximise opportunities across our income streams.
Central to this role is the development and co-design of a strategic plan for fundraising across FareShare and our Network Partners. This plan will ensure we are better equipped for income generation, adopting consistent ways of working and a co-ordinated approach, which avoids overlapping our respective audiences and keeps the supporter at the heart of our decision making.
The Senior Network Fundraising Manager will facilitate and coordinate fundraising activities across multiple partners. This requires involving and inspiring key stakeholders, managing conflicts, setting clear expectations and responsibilities and driving continuous improvements to the way we work together. The role will ensure that the tools, frameworks, resources, monitoring and evaluation methods, and relationships are in place to successfully share information, champion successes and build new funding opportunities across FareShare and our Network Partners.

You will have a strong track record in income generation, and experience or understanding of organisations working together in a federative structure. About the role:
Our Health team has an exciting opportunity for three new roles to join the team. Two of these roles will be focused in our North London TST team, and one in our Lewisham hostel team with a focus on improving the barriers faced by those experiencing homelessness when accessing health care.
As a Health Lead, your role will focus on developing and embedding SHPs health approach into the services the charity provides. It will involve working with and supporting those living within our hostels who have underlying health needs to access and maintain the health care they need. To complete initial health screening tools, create a health support profile plan for each client and to make referrals to and support them in engaging with the correct services (i.e. dentistry, podiatry). In this role you will complete health mapping and use this information to influence partnerships formed with external services to help overcome barriers faced by those experiencing homelessness.
The approach taken with clients will be psychologically informed, incorporating an understanding of Personality Disorder, complex trauma and addiction. The outcomes for your role, include developing positive and sustained relationships of trust with clients, supporting them to engage in health care support and see an improvement in their overall physical health.

- Manage Programme Managers and the Programme Support Manager by overseeing daily delivery and development of programmes. Lead, motivate, and support direct reports for efficient programme delivery; assist with budget management and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Head of Programmes & Services to ensure effective management and delivery of all programmes and deputise for the Head when needed.
- Provide guidance and work with the team to improve processes and share best practices. Train and advise colleagues on positioning programmes represent YE externally in education and political networks.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to the Senior Strategy Group for strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives. Improve monitoring and evaluation processes, ensure cross-departmental compliance, and manage programme budgets effectively.
The Senior Programmes and Services Manager will have significant experience in managing education programmes for children and young people. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills and excel in building relationships. They should be a team player and effective delegator with operational and financial acumen and a proven track record in complex project management in educational settings.
The candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting to diverse audiences. They should have strong strategic thinking abilities for successful organisational outcomes and exceptional project management skills across national programmes. You will demonstrate clear analytical skills, effective planning for operations, and the capability to supervise and support remote teams.
They will be comfortable in engaging non-direct reports and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including school leaders and funding organisations.
