The Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships leads a team which inspires support and develops and sustains relationships with businesses, major donors, trusts and foundations and some statutory funders to help deliver the strategic ambitions of the charity. The team has substantial growth plans – and this role is to help shape and build that growth. It requires someone excited to deliver change and comfortable operating as a player – coach, delivering both leadership and hands on activity.

Vision and strategy
- Implement and refine the newly agreed Fundraising Strategy – positioning the team and driving improvements across the organisation to deliver to target.

- Ensuring a robust and sustainable philanthropy and partnerships programme – including excellent account and relationship management for current partners and a proactive approach to secure future supporters
- Develop relationships with Senior Volunteers including Trustees, Regional Advisory Boards and potentially Appeal Boards
Team Work
- Contribute fully to the fundraising management team, taking the lead on some key cross-team and cross-organisational activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to explore opportunities for income generation, in particular building on each team’s existing contacts and networks.
- Working with the Regional Teams to optimise income generation in philanthropy and partnerships from our enterprise and community engagement activities.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Young People, Volunteer & Business Support the postholder will provide our disbursed team of Growth & Development Workers with clear management, guidance, support and advice on growth, development, volunteer recruitment and retention. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contribute to the design and delivery of research
Data analysis will vary from routine coding and mapping to descriptive statistics and advanced approaches including correlation analysis, ANOVAs and regression analysis. In preparing data, the Researcher will identify the need for clarifications and additional information on the data, and will clearly communicate these queries. The Researcher will undertake this work in strict compliance with the Charity’s policies on data security and confidentiality.
2. Collaborate with colleagues
The Researcher will normally work alongside the Senior Researcher (Quantitative), who will typically lead on the quantitative aspect of research projects and will allocate responsibilities to the Researcher. The Researcher will be expected to undertake these with relatively little guidance and share their findings with the research team, working alongside colleagues to synthesise qualitative and quantitative findings and understand how findings from various strands of research address key research questions.
3. Communicate research findings
The Researcher will clearly present their specific outputs to the Senior Researcher and/or other colleagues through concise informal reports. They will contribute verbally to internal meetings of the research team. The Researcher may contribute to drafting external reports (or sections of reports), presenting findings in a style accessible to a range of audiences.
4. Operational contributions
There will also be other more operational tasks associated with the role, working in collaboration with colleagues in the Charity. These are likely to include administrative tasks for meetings and events; communications with stakeholders, including by phone and email; copywriting; and website contributions.
SKILLS, UNDERSTANDING AND EXPERIENCE
We seek candidates with the following attributes:
Quantitative research
- Have experience in advanced statistical approaches including, for example, ANOVA, and non-parametric approaches
- Understand how these are used to explore social equality issues and are aware of recent published work in this area
- Have substantial experience of identifying the most appropriate approach to explore specific research questions within the context of the data available and the organisation(s) involved
- Have experience of working with large datasets that were not generated for research purposes and require extensive mapping and manipulation
- Are happy to undertake routine tasks, such as checking and cleaning datasets; matching and coding of datasets; and general descriptive statistics
- Pay uncompromising attention to accuracy and detail; and are skilled in identifying data challenges and limitations early in the process wherever possible
- In addition, it would be an advantage to have experience of working with deprivation/disadvantage metrics used in research relating to education and employment (e.g. Index of Multiple Deprivation and HESA measures)
Interpreting and presenting findings
- Have excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues on research tasks and a broad understanding of qualitative research approaches so you can work alongside qualitative researcher colleagues to synthesise quantitative and qualitative findings

The Role
Koreo is looking for a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to drive growth across our programmes, particularly Charityworks and 2027. Alongside their work placements, participants take part in a year-long, ILM-certified leadership and development programme designed to accelerate their impact and future potential.

This person will be responsible for securing work placements for our candidates by engaging with both new and existing host organisations across the nonprofit and grant-making sectors. The Role:
- The Conservation Training Specialist is an integral part of the Conservation Outcome and Evidence Team of experts and advisors who provide a central UK-wide function for the Woodland Trust

Key responsibilities
1. To co-create and implement an effective community engagement strategy for the new Heat Development Company involving the three existing grantees on the programme, in particular giving consideration to the ways in which the Heat DevCo’s new investees can best work with local residents to make the case for electrification. To be the first point of contact for the pioneer grantees, and for the programme’s first set of development sites, ensuring that excellent communications are designed and implemented, and that questions and concerns are answered in a timely and informed way.

4. To lead on qualitative research on decarbonisation and electrification for the Heat DevCo, in particular to support the Deputy CEO and research and data team in exploring the potential of heat as a common pool resource.

To develop a calendar of useful events in heating decarbonisation and electrification, to attend relevant events or conferences and to ensure that the senior team prioritise the best set of opportunities to raise SIB’s profile and progress leads and partnerships. Through attendance to present the Heat Development Company, answering questions and reporting key feedback, ensuring that internal development work effectively reflects a wide set of views and experiences. To be an accessible and responsive contact point for SIB’s work on heat decarbonisation, taking a creative and inclusive approach to outreach and information sharing.
7. To support the coordination and project management of business development in community energy, heating and cooling, social investment fundraising and capacity building, supporting Business Development colleagues with relevant case studies, customer viewpoints and grassroots experience.

We are seeking a project manager to join our International team to manage funds, budgets and accounts and become familiar with the working of local administration and legal requirements relating to partner organisations. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Development and Marketing Manager to lead and support The Mason Foundation's future growth and development through a robust social media strategy and development of external and internal comms.
You will be passionate about making a difference, with a successful track record in creating engaging and meaningful resources (such as training presentations and associated IP) the individual will also be confident in creating a strong social media presence across multiple platforms, developing and delivering a social media and marketing strategy aimed at building brand awareness.
You will be a team player and understand the need to work seamlessly in collaboration with multiple agencies including local authority, corporate and third sector partners, to help ensure high quality delivery of our services, to our communities.
The Development and Marketing Manager will need to embrace a ‘make it happen’ working environment, with constant dedication and a passion for making a difference as part of a committed charity, supporting disadvantaged communities.
