Age UK is offering an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Change Manager to support local Age UKs to maintain and enhance their strategic positioning, financial sustainability, and governance.
This role will provide support to both individual and groups of local Age UKs in relation to organisational development, significant strategic change, contingency planning, and crisis management. Support will need to be provided in a timely, focused, and impactful manner.
The Strategic Change Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Network to develop and implement robust project plans, take a proactive approach to challenges, and ensure the continuity of high-quality services and support for older people.
The role will have responsibility for overseeing a small team of Network & Engagement Managers whose focus is to develop and maintain strong relationships with Chief Officers and Chairs of local Age UKs.

Salary advertised is reflective of a hybrid/London contract, a blend of home working and working from our central London office.
This role may also be considered as a home-based contract - salary £52,326 - £57,834
There is a requirement to travel to sites across the Age UK Network, when required.

Must haves:
- Excellent understanding of the policy and legislative environment in which Age UK services operate, current and future issues in the charity sector, governance, and legal framework and how it translates into reality.

About the role:
We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our Housing Services Team, as a Housing Services & Income Administrator. The Role
The Philanthropic Partnerships Assistant plays an important role in supporting the financial sustainability objectives of GGF UK. The postholder is responsible for managing a portfolio of trust and foundations partnerships giving up to $200,000 per year, and will also be responsible for stewarding our portfolio of individual giving supporters donating up to £10,000 per year. With excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, the candidate will have a proven ability to create compelling proposals, presentations, reports, and other materials. You’ll be an experienced charity retailer, with significant experience in managing and leading a diverse team. You’ll understand the key drivers behind charity shop success and how to optimise the MS Society’s retail portfolio to deliver that success.
You’ll be a confident speaker and presenter, bringing our business plan to life and inspiring our staff and volunteers to deliver our goals.
Importantly the right person for this role will be a committed charity retail fan, excited about the whole sector and the opportunities it offers to improve the MS Society’s income and engagement with the public and MS Community.
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 2 years.

Job Description
Report to: Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering
Responsible for: Leading the food distribution service and quality assurance at Hackney Foodbank’s allocated Food Distribution Centres located across the borough of Hackney. This includes ensuring all our visitors have a positive experience when collecting their food parcels and are signposted to other provisions appropriately; being responsible for directing the volunteers, working closely with the Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering, Health and Safety, and promoting best practice at each centre. This role will also involve administrative tasks, organising and carrying out home deliveries for visitors, inputting data on visitors’ journeys accurately into a database, driving the Hackney Giving Van occasionally and regularly driving a Luton van to the various Distribution Centres.
Part-time: 25 hours per week, evening and/or weekend work is required
Salary: £27,500 per year (pro-rata for 25 hours per week)
Compulsory: Must have a UK manual driving licence
Specific responsibilities:
· Attend Hackney Foodbank’s Food Distribution Centres to ensure each Centre is run in accordance with HFB’s best practice procedures.

Main Areas of Responsibility
Your role will be to jointly support our team in leading our educational programmes, the Harris Experience (HE) and Harris Experience Advanced (HEA), which are already in place from Year 9 through to Year 13.
