About the position
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, an international non-profit organisation tracking the human rights impacts of more than 10,000 companies worldwide, is seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Officer to join our global team.
The successful candidate will be a creative, digital native social media expert who can help to take our social media content to the next level, helping us to reach and influence our most important audiences.
They will be comfortable devising social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues around the world to grow their own social media presence.
The position will also play an important role in the success of our digital platform, which is central to everything the organisation does, both creating content and facilitating content creation by colleagues from across our global team.
This role will join the busy and collegiate central Communications Team, as well as working with project team colleagues to help most effectively communicate our research, analysis and key findings on social channels, supporting and amplifying the efforts of our partners on the ground driving respect for human rights in business and fighting to achieve justice and remedies for victims of corporate abuse.
Key Responsibilities
Social media (approx. two thirds of role):
- Social media content: Manage the day-to-day social media comms production and planning, including planning calendars, scheduling and posting
- Asset creation: Design and create compelling social-first assets and copy for channels including LinkedIn, X and Bluesky
- Regional support: Support regional teams in strengthening their own social media content, outreach and engagement, including our Spanish-language channels (candidates are not expected to be Spanish speakers).
- Channel growth: Lead on growing follower numbers and engagement levels for our social media accounts
- Social media strategy: Support Head of Comms on updating and executing the social media elements of the new communications strategy.
- Digital advertising: assisting the Head of Comms on the rollout of digital advertising campaigns.
Monitoring and evaluation:
- KPIs and evaluation: Lead on monitoring and evaluating our social media performance and KPIs.
- Monitoring: Monitoring online conversation for mentions of BHRRC and opportunities for the organisation to react to breaking situations and stories, working with our Media Officer.
Website (approx. one third of role):
- Training and content creation: Becoming a website “super user”, creating content for our website, and leading on support and training for team members on how to add front-end content on the site.
- Digital-first events: Support on the rollout of digital-first events, including leading on logistics and communications for our flagship Mary Robinson series.
Key competencies and attributes
Essential:
Experience: At least three years’ experience in a social media-focused role, with a strong preference for experience working as part of an international team or on international issues and campaigns.
A digital native, who understands how to create compelling content that is social-first in nature.
A track record of developing impactful social media and digital communications content, preferably in the campaigning, policy, advocacy or not-for-profit spaces.
Communications: Excellent understanding of how strategic digital communications can work alongside research and advocacy approaches to achieve change.
Proven ability to communicate complex and sensitive information in an impactful way; understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences, contexts and channels online.
Global focus: This role has a strong regional/international remit and international working experience is strongly preferred.
Content creation: Experience in creating graphic content (in Canva or another graphics program). Experience in creating or editing video content would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Writing for social and the web: Must be able to condense complex information into compelling social-first copy that drives users to meaningful action, and to translate copy into website-appropriate, SEO friendly online copy.
Website content: Experience with website CMS such as Wagtail, Drupal, Wordpress, and creating web pages/content for websites.
Supporting staff: Enthusiasm for supporting colleagues develop compelling digital communications. Experience supporting staff through training or coaching desirable.
Team player: Experience of, and commitment to, working in high-performing teams which are highly collaborative and focused on outcomes. Willingness to provide cover for team members - including occasional, infrequent out of hours work - and share admin jobs. Experience of working with colleagues remotely, and in multicultural and diverse cultures and working environments also desirable.
Desirable:
Digital analytics and other tools: Comfortable using tools such as Google Analytics and on-board social media analytics in e.g. LinkedIn to monitor, evaluate and report on content performance. Experience in using social media scheduling tools is a bonus.
Knowledge of human rights issues: A strong interest in international issues and familiarity with social justice issues desirable.
Languages: Must have exceptional spoken and written English. Additional language(s) desirable (Arabic/ Chinese/ French/ German/ Japanese/ Korean/ Portuguese/ Spanish).

You will be responsible for working with our network of health and care partners to design and deliver evaluation projects. You will manage, and continuously develop and improve, our tools for data collection and analysis; plus undertake analysis of NHS organisational data, to produce impactful reports across multiple projects in parallel.
The successful candidate will have excellent data and research analytical skills, with the ability to manage several stakeholders and projects in tandem. The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) team’s core purpose is to provide support, guidance, and assurance of the delivery of the National Fire Chiefs Council’s (NFCC) national programmes and projects by providing specialist expertise, knowledge, and facilitation across the portfolio. The team ensures proper governance procedures are in place and that project/programme methodologies are embedded and adhered to.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contribute to the design and delivery of research
Data analysis will vary from routine coding and mapping to descriptive statistics and advanced approaches including correlation analysis, ANOVAs and regression analysis. In preparing data, the Researcher will identify the need for clarifications and additional information on the data, and will clearly communicate these queries. The Researcher will undertake this work in strict compliance with the Charity’s policies on data security and confidentiality.
2. Collaborate with colleagues
The Researcher will normally work alongside the Senior Researcher (Quantitative), who will typically lead on the quantitative aspect of research projects and will allocate responsibilities to the Researcher. The Researcher will be expected to undertake these with relatively little guidance and share their findings with the research team, working alongside colleagues to synthesise qualitative and quantitative findings and understand how findings from various strands of research address key research questions.
3. Communicate research findings
The Researcher will clearly present their specific outputs to the Senior Researcher and/or other colleagues through concise informal reports. They will contribute verbally to internal meetings of the research team. The Researcher may contribute to drafting external reports (or sections of reports), presenting findings in a style accessible to a range of audiences.
4. Operational contributions
There will also be other more operational tasks associated with the role, working in collaboration with colleagues in the Charity. These are likely to include administrative tasks for meetings and events; communications with stakeholders, including by phone and email; copywriting; and website contributions.
SKILLS, UNDERSTANDING AND EXPERIENCE
We seek candidates with the following attributes:
Quantitative research
- Have experience in advanced statistical approaches including, for example, ANOVA, and non-parametric approaches
- Understand how these are used to explore social equality issues and are aware of recent published work in this area
- Have substantial experience of identifying the most appropriate approach to explore specific research questions within the context of the data available and the organisation(s) involved
- Have experience of working with large datasets that were not generated for research purposes and require extensive mapping and manipulation
- Are happy to undertake routine tasks, such as checking and cleaning datasets; matching and coding of datasets; and general descriptive statistics
- Pay uncompromising attention to accuracy and detail; and are skilled in identifying data challenges and limitations early in the process wherever possible
- In addition, it would be an advantage to have experience of working with deprivation/disadvantage metrics used in research relating to education and employment (e.g. Index of Multiple Deprivation and HESA measures)

About the role
Coram is looking for an experienced Digital Content Manager (maternity cover) to support the marcomms team on websites, analytics, internal comms and other related digital marketing tasks. This is a fast-paced and varied role that involves working on a number of different websites across the Coram Group of charities and providing advice and support to other colleagues.
The role will involve anything from day to day management of existing websites to project managing larger scale rebrands, website moves and new website projects from start to finish. It will also include analysis of web traffic via Google Analytics, managing Coram’s internal comms channels and overseeing the relationship with Coram’s digital agency for Google/Microsoft Ads.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.

For over 900 years Tewkesbury Abbey has been at the heart of the community - as a place of gathering, worship, celebration and remembrance. Down the centuries we have been a Benedictine Abbey, a parish church and a place of refuge in times of flood and war. Today the Abbey is a thriving parish church with hundreds coming here to worship each week, drawn by our commitment to daily prayer and our traditional choral worship. We are a ‘Major Church’ within the Church of England, and we are larger than fourteen of our country’s cathedrals. We are also a venue for concerts, large civic events, fairs and festivals working in partnership with colleagues throughout the region. In the past year we have also hosted a number of installations, exhibitions and events, a schools programme, concerts and talks in addition to our usual packed programme of worship and festive services.
Like many heritage assets within the UK, COVID and lockdown presented us with serious challenges to our financial sustainability. We are now responding to those challenges with ambitious plans to double our visitor income and numbers within five years. Reporting in the short term to the CEO, the post holder will work across multiple income streams event/mass/community, to develop innovative products and tools to engage our supporters and maximise and grow our income generation strategy and lifetime value of our supporters. You will develop high-level third-party relationships, events and community initiatives that lead to long-lasting relationships and long-term support for Dreams Come True.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Philanthropy Manager to lead and grow our grant funding strategy. This is a pivotal role within our fundraising team, responsible for:

Developing and executing a successful grant funding strategy: Identify, cultivate, and secure grants from trusts, foundations, institutional donors, and philanthropic individuals.

Crafting compelling proposals: Prepare high-quality, creative funding applications that resonate with funders and help us achieve ambitious income targets.

Building lasting relationships: Steward and nurture both new and existing funders through personalised communication, detailed reporting, and engaging updates.

Strategic planning and research: Conduct prospect research to develop a robust funding pipeline and contribute to long-term planning and forecasting.
What You'll Bring
This job is for you if you can offer:

Experience: A strong background in grant funding within the nonprofit sector. You'll have a proven track-record of securing and managing grants from trusts, foundations, and/or major donors. .

Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written and spoken English. You'll have the ability to translate complex information into engaging proposals and reports.

Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Aptitude for matching funding needs with funder priorities. You'll back this up with solid research and planning skills.
