Person specifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management within charity or international development settings. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of forest governance and human rights, particularly in Central Africa, and exhibit leadership in project management. Proficiency in both English and French is essential, alongside experience in financial management and a personal commitment to defending human rights. Additionally, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work under pressure in complex environments, including up to 12 weeks of travel per year to remote forest areas.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Kennington. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

Eligibility for the role
In order to be eligible for the Centre Leader role, applicants will:
- Have completed an undergraduate degree to a 2.2 or higher.

What will my main dutires be?

What the job involves
The Policy and Health Influencing teams are responsible for using clinical data and evidence to shape what the organisation thinks and to develop solutions that drive change for men with and at risk of prostate cancer. This means working with clinicians, patients and stakeholders to interpret the latest changes in prostate cancer research, care, support and treatment which will help shape our strategic direction and activities.
As the Health Improvement Coordinator, you're key to supporting these teams. You'll have a varied and far-reaching portfolio of work and sometimes arranging important stakeholder events and meetings ensuring we're hearing from people who've been through prostate cancer themselves. You'll also help share our work on social media and capturing the outcomes of our external engagement.
In this role you’ll assist us in keeping track of and evaluating our progress in line with our organisational strategy, as well as keeping an eye on trends in the wider cancer and health landscape and reporting on them. Plus, you'll handle budget matters and make sure we have effective budget monitoring mechanisms in place.

The Role
As an Estates Manager, you will deliver an effective estate management function across the expansive and diverse Royal Parks Estate.
Your responsibilities will span the management of property-related matters, including non-residential assets and the negotiation of property contracts, ensuring that we maximise value from our property portfolio.
A central part of your role will be the negotiation and management of leases, occupation licences, rent and licence fee reviews, as well as ensuring compliance and monitoring of existing agreements.

What will I be doing?
Develop and maintain trusting, long-term relationships with a diverse network of talent & influencers and their agents.

Demonstrate a clear 'value exchange' for talent and influencers - showing that their time and effort results in impactful, high-profile campaigns across multiple channels.
Share your experience and coach the Talent & Influencers team, helping to develop a high performing, confident and inclusive team.
Maintain an overview of all talent & influencer activity across the organisation; analysing opportunities for talent & influencer involvement, providing considered, expert advice and giving strategic direction.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness by playing a leading role in annual planning, prioritisation and reporting processes for the team.
Monitor and track performance of talent & influencer activity to report back on successes and learnings constructively. Ensure that key deliverables and KPIs are set and measured for every project.
What are you looking for?
An accomplished and highly skilled networker with exceptional influencing skills and the ability to inspire trust and confidence in stakeholders and peers both internally and externally.
Ability to articulate Cancer Research UK's cause, core purpose and scale of ambition and transform complex scientific areas of research into engaging, user-friendly communication.
Evidence of building strong relationships and experience of working with a network of senior contacts across the talent sector (including with talent, influencers and their representatives) to create and execute high profile, strategic campaigns with cut-through and visible results. This could incorporate a range of sectors including digital, TV, film, radio, fashion, beauty, business or politics.
Strong team player with a collaborative approach that enhances, develops and utilises the skills of team members and a wider peer group.
Commercial awareness: ability to identify and maximise opportunities to deliver direct and indirect financial value to the charity.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; attention to detail.
Leadership and coaching skills, working with teams or individuals to deliver high performance.

The Impact and Evaluation team sits within Coram’s Institute for Children. Our team consists of 14 Researchers and a Research Coordinator, along with a network of around 15 research associates, pro bono analysts and peer researchers. We carry out qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research with children and young people, which often involves parents and carers and the professionals who support them.
As a team, are values are to be child-centred, rigorous, grounded in experience, collaborative and impactful. We are dedicated to delivering child-centred research to ensure their voice is at the forefront of our work. We use co-design and participatory research methods to challenge power imbalances within research and work with marginalised groups.
Our work includes a diverse range of evaluation designs from feasibility studies and process evaluations through to large-scale, multi-site experimental and quasi-experimental impact evaluations. We work with a range of partners including Foundations, the Youth Endowment Fund, Department for Education, local authorities, the NHS, and universities as well as other third sector organisations. We also work in-house to support the Coram group of children’s charities to help evaluate their effectiveness and assess the impact of their work.
This role will be based in Coram’s Impact and Evaluation team which sits at the heart of Coram’s Institute for Children dedicated to improving the life chances of children. This role will play an important part in building the Institute and the strategic direction of the team. The role offers exciting opportunities to work within the Coram’s Impact and Evaluation team to lead a portfolio of mixed methods research projects and evaluation studies. As well as build links across Coram as well as externally with research partners and universities to pursue research dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
About the role
The Research Manager will play an important role in working with the Head of Impact and Evaluation and across Coram to develop and expand work of the team within Coram’s Institute for Children.
Working within Coram’s growing Impact and Evaluation team (which currently includes eight permanent researchers) the Research Manager will lead the delivery of high quality, innovative qualitative and quantitative studies including externally commissioned research and evaluation to support the improvement of policy and practice for vulnerable children, young people and their families. This will include implementation and process evaluations with children/young people, parents/carers and professionals as well as quasi-experimental and experimental impact evaluations.

WCRF Intl is a not-for-profit organisation that leads and unifies a network of cancer prevention charities. The finance function, International Financial Services (IFS), is a central service, split across the London and Arlington, VA office and is the hub for supporting the charities in all areas of financial processing and management.
The Finance Director will be responsible for the oversight of all financial aspects of the network charities, including strategic financial planning, managing financial risks, financial reporting, and ensuring sustainable economic health.

You’ll be the first port of call for many internal colleagues, Board members and external stakeholders, with our Chief Executive active as part of many London and national fora. Great customer service, exemplary diary management, and a commitment to ISHA’s values are a must.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Managing the CEO inbox, prioritising emails for responses etc, ensuring delegating task are completed. Prioritise enquiries and requests whilst troubleshooting conflicts and making judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day to day arrangements.
- Manage the Chief Executive’s diary ensuring that Chief Executive is fully briefed.
- Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with the Chief Executive’s key stakeholders and colleagues. To communicate and liaise with sensitively but confidently with people from all levels, both internally and externally including board members, executive directors, Senior Management Team, the local authority and other housing association partners and residents.
- Oversee the coordination of information to assist the Chief Executive in preparing for key meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Timetabling key discussions in the business cycle.
- Collating and publishing Leadership team papers and tracking actions.
- Liaising with Third party providers to ensure the smooth running of contracts/projects.
- Processing of invoices for the Chief Executive with related spend.
- Playing a key role in Chief Executive led initiatives to ensure the timely and successful deliver, for example aways days and or our staff conference.
- Prepare expenses and other financial matters in line with our financial regulations.
- Other duties that help us deliver first rate services to our residents and customers internal and external, for example minute taking time to time.
- Organise any travel arrangements.
