We are recruiting a high energy and hands on Garden Manager to work closely with the Senior Leadership team at Sufra to support the development and expansion of the community garden, and manage the team of garden staff and volunteers. This is an exciting time in the development of St. Raphael’s Edible Garden, as we are looking for an experienced Garden Manager to oversee the next steps in the development of the site, deliver a range of learning outcomes and fully implement, manage and further develop all aspects of the garden project.
Alongside practical educational outdoor experience, the successful candidate will understand how to design educational programmes that are accessible and engaging for a range of audiences, including school children and young people, adults with additional needs, and wider community. Project management and organisational skills are also essential. Summary

Internal-facing Support:
- Support the Programme Management Team with maintaining the integrity of data within Salesforce.
- Working with the Senior Programme Manager to support the effective programme management and launch of Flourishing Leaders and Teachers.
- Lead on administrative tasks relating to recruitment of Flourishing Leaders and Teachers.
- Event administration for Flourishing Leaders and Teachers, including keeping the calendar up to date, creating online meetings, liaising with staff who will participate, and ensuring Blackboard is updated as needed.
- Support Programme Management Team with preparation of monthly reports, with key updates on recruitment, engagement and quality assurance.
- Admin support within the Programme Delivery teams, including setting up online forms, managing the inboxes, Salesforce reporting and other.
External-facing Support:
- Providing first-line support within the queries arising from our inboxes.
- Support Learning Technology team with administration, including providing assistance with online events.
- Support applicants with any queries relating to the application process and IT support. Also support with liaising with participant sponsors to ensure their administration is completed.
- Supporting the quality team to track the onboarding of Coaches and Facilitators for the Flourishing Programmes, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the deadline.

Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK is a registered education charity on a mission to change that. We run workshops educating young people about healthy and unhealthy behaviours, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in relationships.
Using film and guided discussions, our workshop Leaders support children and young people in honest conversations about relationships and leave them better equipped to spot the early warning signs of abuse, inspiring them to enjoy healthy, fulfilling relationships. We explore the 10 signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and include practical lessons young people want to learn about (like consent) and practice scenarios in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.

About LMK Leaders
LMK Leaders are passionate and organised educators who run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Through engaging, relatable workshops, Leaders help young people identify signs of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours, provide strategies for them to recognise the early warning signs of abuse and give them tools to keep themselves and their friends safe.
Expectations of LMK Leaders
- Always adhere to LMK and host organisations health & safety and safeguarding practices and procedures.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries with young people, peers, and professionals.
- Respond to comms (emails/WhatsApp) sent out by LMK team members in a timely manner, to support planning and organising of sessions.
- Plan and deliver interactive LMK workshops in educational and community settings in line with LMK delivery style and ethos.
- Meet with co-facilitators to carry out pre-session planning, minimum three working days before delivery.
- Use your experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly.
- Ensure all youth participants and the adults in school/community organisations who attend a LMK workshop complete the post session feedback surveys.
- Complete a reflective post session Leader survey after each workshop to support practice and programme development.
- Debrief with LMK’s Programme Development Manager and provide ongoing feedback about your sessions through LMK’s reflective practice processes.
- Accommodate a maximum of two workshop observations by LMK staff/supporters per academic year, designed to bolster our funding and thought leadership strategy.
- Undertake relevant training associated with LMK’s work, including but not restricted to diversity and inclusion, safeguarding, violence against women and girls (VAWG).
- Undertake at least one quality assurance observation per year, completed by an LMK Programme Development Manager, and enhance practice via developmental feedback.
- Continue to learn about and develop your skills on the issues affecting young people’s relationships including domestic violence, abuse, adverse childhood experiences, trauma informed practice, gang culture and grooming, mental health, sexual exploitation, consent, sharing of nudes /sexting, bullying in person and online, tech and online safety, pornography.
- Share your knowledge and expertise by providing feedback and, where requested, co-designing training and educational resources on issues affecting young people and their relationships.
- Mandatory attendance of termly virtual Leader huddles and reflective sessions to remain connected to peers and organisational values, mission, purpose and operational matters.
- Contribute towards and keep up to date with LMK internal/external communications platforms, such as LMK newsletters and social media.
- Engage with LMK’s Youth Advisory Board Members, if and when invited to do so.
- Lead by example and promote healthy relationship behaviours in your own lives/communities and within LMK (team player; acknowledging and working with diversity; being receptive to new ideas and developmental feedback, etc)
- Use your own networks to recruit new schools and youth groups into the programme.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
- Extensive experience of teaching or working with young people (10 to 24 yrs old) in educational or community settings.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience co-designing, delivering and evaluating group sessions, consisting of minimum of 12 and maximum of 30 participants.
- Experience or co-designing session plans and co-facilitating with others; able to collaborate equally with others.
- A strong commitment to young people and knowledge and understanding of issues affecting their relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, that allows young people to speak freely about their relationships and experience.
- Able to adapt and be flexible in workshops to get the best engagement from a range of participants.
Must also:
- Be entitled to work in the UK.
- Hold a DBS certificate or be willing to let LMK undertake a check on your behalf.
- Have a recent safeguarding qualification from a recognised provider or be willing to undertake additional training in this area.

Mind in Camden has the exciting permanent opportunity to recruit people to work on our leading Hearing Voices Projects.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day work of our innovative Hearing Voices Projects. To be successful in this role, you need to have an in-depth understanding of the Hearing Voices Movement and the role of peer support groups within this. You will ideally have experience of supervising or mentoring volunteers and some project management experience.
With the confidence and organisational skills necessary to take the lead on busy and diverse projects, you will be required to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (from the adult mental health, prison, forensic and youth sectors). As such, this role is best suited to someone who is flexible enough to modify their approach to suit the situation.
We are looking for someone with strong facilitation skills who is able to deliver and design training that communicates the values of the Hearing Voices Network clearly and accessibly.
Among other tasks, you will be required to:
- Oversee the current Hearing Voices Projects to ensure they are consistent and embody the Mind in Camden and Hearing Voices Movement ethos.
- Be part of some of the frontline work, including facilitating groups.
- Build networks and deliver training sessions for the Hearing Voices Projects.
- Liaise with the finance department and ensure the projects are meeting targets for funders.

Details of the role

Job Summary
Young Responders is an exciting project that started delivering street first aid sessions during 2023 as part of St John Ambulance. The project was created to engage and empower young people from diverse communities who face the greatest health inequities to become active health citizens, through practical physical first aid and mental awareness sessions relevant to the challenges they face.
The programme is aimed at young people aged 11 to 25, who would not typically come through our doors delivering first aid training to young people from under-served communities. In 2023 the Young Responders team delivered session to almost 16,000 Young People and over 2024 they aim to reach a further 20,000 Young People, if not more.
Working as part of the team as a Facilitator you will support the growth of the service and be responsible for directly leading and delivering first aid training sessions with community organisations and educational settings. This role will also offer pastoral support to our growing Volunteer team offering mentoring and guidance to those delivering sessions supporting their welfare and wellbeing.
This is a 35 hours per week role and we are looking for someone who is empathetic and feels passion about supporting Young People. The role is to cover London so travel is essential.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience in Youth Work or working with young people in a community context
- Experience of planning and/or the delivery of community-based training
- Experience of safeguarding and willing to undertake Safeguarding training relevant to the role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, verbally and in writing
- Understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and issues around social mobility
- Ability to work well in a team and able to motivate young people and volunteers

How Will You Make a Difference?
Amna is seeking a compassionate and experienced Arabic speaking facilitator to join Amna’s team of trainers, with therapeutic/clinical background. As a Trainer & Facilitator your responsibilities will involve delivering training sessions and group facilitation to support and create learning spaces for training participants on themes centred around trauma and identity informed psychosocial healing care with displaced communities. The role holder is expected to work on multiple responses, and will lead Amna’s Gaza and Syria responses, while working closely with Arabic speaking team members.
Amna’s identity and trauma informed approach is centred around community healing practices with communities that aim to restore participants sense of safety, belonging, agency and joy. Amna services are co-created with the communities being worked with and we prioritise refugee participation and leadership in service design and delivery wherever possible.
The role holders need to have experience working with communities affected by adversity, including displacement, war and conflict, poverty, abuse or marginalisation. Given the nature of Amna’s work in emergency settings with displaced communities, applicants need to be comfortable working in environments where there is uncertainty, change and exposure to distress.

Power UP! – “Nothing about me, without me.”
In 2023, YWF trained a group of young people as researchers, empowering them to lead the way in understanding the challenges and opportunities facing Westminster’s young people. Their work shaped our flagship report Our City. Our Future. which highlighted the urgent need for young people to be able to confidently shape their futures.
As a result of these findings, we collaborated with an additional group of young people to co-create Power UP! – a whole framework of opportunities providing training, mentorship, internships, youth associate roles and trusteeships to ensure youth voices are central to shaping decisions in both our organisation and in Westminster as a whole.
This includes:
- YEP! - 3-month engagement and skills development programme that uses external facilitators to help develop young participants skills in key areas of YWF's work.
- YWF Youth Associates – A team of paid young consultants that we support to contribute to the work of YWF e.g. grants, research, public speaking – as well as brokering opportunities from external businesses and institutions looking for contributions from young people.
- Trusteeships & Leadership Opportunities – Ensuring young people are embedded and influential in our governance and strategy.
- Mentorship, Training & Internships – Internal opportunities building pathways into further employment.
As Youth Voice & Engagement Manager, you will work with our Youth Voice Consultant, the team and young people to take a hands-on role in delivering, expanding and embedding these initiatives.
Your Role
Programme Leadership & Delivery
- Coordinate Power UP! - Plan, manage, and deliver activities including youth-led research, grant-making, internships and leadership opportunities.
- Run YEP! (Youth Empowerment Pathway) – Oversee this 3-month, 8-session programme, supporting external facilitators and guiding participants toward deeper engagement with and understanding of YWF.
- Mentor Youth Associates – Recruit, train and support young consultants leading change within YWF and their communities.
- Design & Deliver Workshops – Use a range of methods (including coordinating external facilitators) to engage young people, particularly those facing barriers such as language or social exclusion.
- Embed Well-being, Creativity & Inclusivity – Ensure activities support young people’s mental health, confidence and ability to participate meaningfully- and use creativity where appropriate.
- Safeguarding & risk assessments – Ensure safeguarding of young people is front and centre to our work.
Youth Engagement & Inclusion
- Embed Co-Production – Involve young people at all stages of programme design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Consult with Young People – Regularly engage with youth groups, ensuring Power UP! reflects their needs and aspirations.
- Strengthen Partnerships – Work with the Membership Manager to build strong relationships with member organisations to increase access and engagement.
- Support an Intern – Recruit and work alongside a youth voice and engagement intern, providing mentorship and hands-on experience.
Amplifying Youth Voice & YWF’s Work
- Showcase our Initiatives and Young People’s Achievements – Collaborate with the Business Development Lead and Comms and Engagement Director to share young people’s successes via digital and in-person platforms.
- Represent YWF at different public and professional settings, events and opportunities around youth voice, showcasing our work and approach.
- Champion Youth-Led Change – Work with the team to advocate for young people’s involvement in governance and policy within YWF and across Westminster.
Programme Management & Evaluation
- Measure Impact – Work with the Youth Voice Consultant and Evaluation and Data Specialist to use creative evaluation techniques to track the outcomes of Power UP!, ensuring activities lead to meaningful change.
- Manage Logistics – Oversee scheduling, coordination and reporting for all programme activities.
- Manage payments and budgets – manage an activities budget for the YEP! Programme, including overseeing facilitator costs and payments for young people

We’re looking for a youth worker to lead our weekly educational youth club programme in Bournemouth. Delivered in partnership with International Care Network (ICN), sessions take place on a weekly basis between 4.30-7.30pm throughout the year including school holidays.
The role is six hours a week (three hours on a Wednesday at Club Class plus three hours a week for planning/prep/meetings).
Main purpose of the role:
The youth worker will plan, deliver and facilitate educational and cultural activities to separated children (16-21 years old) in the context of an interactive youth club held weekly in partnership with the ICN in Bournemouth. Although you will prepare and deliver the materials, you will be supported by our youth support worker and ICN support worker during the actual Club Class session. Plus one support worker from ICN and one staff member from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole local authority (BCP LA) – usually a personal advisor or social worker.
Main duties:
- Research, plan and devise educational activities/classes for the weekly sessions based on our Club Class framework
- Deliver and facilitate the weekly Club Class with the support of our youth support worker and the ICN support worker.
- Source outside facilitators on occasion (on a voluntary basis) to deliver specialist sessions
- Ensure sessions are young people-led and participants have an opportunity to input into future Club Class sessions using our participatory feedback mechanism
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the group (please note this is not a casework role), referring individual young people to their case worker where one-to-one support is required.
- Ensure the highest level of safeguarding for the young people attending with adherence to The Separated Child Foundation’s safeguarding policy
- Work with the Programme Manager to evaluate Club Class with participants to ensure the sessions are appropriate and relevant to their needs, and propose amendments and improvements to the Club Class framework as required
- Gather feedback (anonymised where necessary) from participants to populate social media, support funding bids and include in programme management reporting
- Provide line manager with regular feedback on the sessions and future plans during routine catch up calls and Programme Manager in-person visits
Person Specification:
- Experience in planning and delivering youth-led interactive group workshops using varied techniques and approaches
- Experience of working with or supporting young people, preferably separated asylum seeking and refugee children and/or young people for whom English is not first language
