We are seeking a Development and Grants Manager to support our funding applications and reporting for Blue Ventures’ global and cross-cutting programmes. Role Purpose
In this role, you will support Womankind’s Grants, Programmes and Partnerships in the Programmes and Learning team as part of the wider Policy, Programmes & Learning team. This includes planning, administration, implementation and monitoring of Womankind’s grantmaking, programmes and learning activities in line with Womankind’s organisational strategy and sub-strategies.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Programme Manager: Innovation and Partnerships (PMIP). They will make a strong contribution to the work and aims of Womankind with the scope to further develop and gain a wide range of practical experience and skills, in accordance with our feminist principles and approach.
Responsibilities
The Programmes and Grants Officer has four key areas of responsibility:
Project, Programme and Grant Management
- Support project leads with project, programme and grant management, including contracting, payment processing, and monitoring and reviewing reports and budgets;
- Support the development of new projects and programmes, in collaboration with Womankind partners and colleagues;
- Support fund managers with administration, management and coordination of Womankind’s flexible funds, particularly the Movement Strengthening Fund and Strategic Partner Support Grants;
- Support the organisation of in-person and online events and convenings, including managing logistics and travel arrangements.
Administration and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up to date records related to Womankind partners, projects, programmes and grants, including managing and updating the contact database/CRM;
- Support due diligence processes;
- Provide logistic, administrative and technical support to the Programmes and Learning Team as agreed with the PMIP;
- Support the recruitment and placement of suitable consultants, interns and volunteers in coordination with the PMIP and relevant team members;
- Manage internal mailbox alongside other Womankind staff on the rota for this task.
Contribution to knowledge and evidence base
- Participate in the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Working Group and contribute to effective and appropriate MEL processes for Womankind projects, programmes and grants in collaboration with the Impact and Learning Advisor;
- Support the production and review of research and documentation;
- Contribute Womankind’s communications through researching and drafting content for the website and social media channels;
- Contribute to team and organisational planning and reporting to key stakeholders (e.g. donors and supporters, senior management team, Co-Chief Executives and Board of Trustees).
Contribute to Womankind’s Organisational Culture and Ways of Working
- Serve as a Programmes and Learning representative and be an active participant in cross-departmental working groups, initiatives and information sharing activities as agreed with the PMIP;

- Adopt and promote feminist and anti-racist ways of working, in line with Womankind’s feminist partnership principles and anti-racism pledge.

The Role
This is a new role reporting into the Compliance Manager. The High Value Officer will be instrumental in supporting the High Value team at St George’s Hospital Charity across multiple income streams; corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, special events, and major donors.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
High Value Fundraising
• Support the High Value team in the management of key supporters – ensuring the provision of briefings, preparation of proposals, reports and fundraising materials.

CLPE is based in our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. Our Centre houses an amazing collection of 25,000 children’s books as well as being a training and event centre for teachers, publishers and everyone else who works with children’s literature and cares about children’s literacy. We have a friendly, talented and committed team working both from the Centre and remotely. The post holder would be required to work at our Centre at least one day per week but may work remotely for the remainder of their hours.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely financial and management accounting reports are produced each month, that include full-year accounting forecasts and 18 month cashflow forecasts

Devise and maintain financial systems, procedures and internal controls for current and new work streams including online developments, grants and funded projects ensuring compliance with administration and financial regulations in relation to charity, trust and company law and regulations and funder requirements.

Oversee procurement processes in line with the Manual of Authorities, including management of supplier contracts, working with the Centre Manager. The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) promotes evidence-informed equitable, inclusive and sustainable development. We support the generation and effective use of high-quality evidence to inform decision-making and improve the lives of people living in poverty in low- and middle-income countries (L&MICs).
We provide guidance and support to produce impact evaluations and associated formative evaluations; systematic reviews and syntheses, evidence gap maps and support for using that evidence in decision-making and capacity development. Our work encompasses a wide range of topics, sectors and themes, including but not limited to health, nutrition, education, agriculture, governance, microfinance, climate change, humanitarian interventions, and social protection.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) has been established to commission and manage research to enhance development and foreign policy impact. 2. Summary:
The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) invites applications for the position of Finance Manager at the Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). This is an important position, and the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the efficient use of funds for research projects and programs.
3. Key Responsibilities:
3.1 Financial Management of RCC program:

Manages RCC financial operations including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.

4. Qualifications, Skills & Experience
4.1 Education & Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field – master's degree preferred.

8+ years of experience in project finance with the minimum of 3 years of financial and budget management experience.

Relevant experience working in a similar finance role in one of the following sectors: charities, NGOs, international development, higher education or research institutions. Strong working knowledge of FCDO financial management policies, procedures and practices is a must.

Experience working with and integrating various financial systems and software programs such as Sage Intacct, with high degree of competency in MS Excel and other accounting packages

Experience in the development of financial systems and processes

Experience in creating, analysing, and presenting financial information in an accessible way, to senior management, staff members and donors

Proven ability to produce budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and produce management accounts.

About the role
This senior role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC, particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Policy and Practice Change team. Through systematic and efficient management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial and operational sustainability.
The role will oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through oversight and line management of finance, operations and administrative staff. The post holder will support the Managing Director of Legal Practice and Children's Rights and department heads in the successful running of our services. Where appropriate they will deputise for the Managing Director on financial, operational and compliance matters.
Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for specialist financial functions within CCLC, particularly legal aid billing. The role will act as a key point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders including Coram’s central finance team who focus on grant fund management and overall accounting for CCLC.
The role would suit a highly organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, are welcomed. However, we recognise that this is a highly specialised and niche field. As such, candidates with broad operational and financial management experience but a strong aptitude for processing large amounts of data, developing and managing spreadsheets and improving organisational systems will be considered.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. About the Role
We are now recruiting for an experienced Director of Operations to play a crucial role in guiding our driven and committed team as we shift our culture and infrastructure, upholding our vision, mission, principles, and values.
The post holder will work with colleagues to develop, implement and review Hibiscus’s strategy and plans, particularly as they impact our operating and finance models. They will be responsible for developing and monitoring the annual business plan, reporting progress and providing reliable structural, financial and people management. They will be responsible for the efficient running of operations and central functions, conducting risk assessments, monitoring performance and reviewing procedures, with a particular focus on overseeing the effective financial management of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning and producing financial budgets for the organisation, alongside monitoring projects from start to finish, preparing costings for funding applications, agreeing contracts and grant terms, monitoring deliverables and co-ordinating timely reporting. They will oversee the production of quarterly management accounts and yearly finance audits, and communicate the financial landscape of the organisation to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board. The Director of Operations will play a key role in risk and compliance, with a focus on data, safeguarding, policies and procedures, and legal and statutory requirements. The Epilepsy Research Institute serves as the central hub for the epilepsy research community. Our mission is to radically advance research into the causes, prevention and treatment of epilepsy and associated conditions.
