About the role

With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars, our crew of critical care paramedics and specialist doctors bring their advanced skills, equipment and medicine to the scene of the incident in the fastest time possible.
This exciting new role will be the organisational lead for analysis of clinical data, supporting the clinical team and stakeholders across the charity to make data-driven decisions, uncover insights and, ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
Working with the Head of Research & Development, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our clinical data strategy, turning complex clinical data into useful datasets, dashboards and reports. This will need a forward-thinking approach which takes advantage of developments in data solutions to maximise insight from data whilst ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
You will have previous experience managing data projects or leading teams, generating and analysing complex data, and working with data science tools such as PowerBI, Zoho Analytics and R. You will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Following a 3-month probation period, you will transition to a fixed-term contract. Upon successful completion of this term, you will be offered a permanent employment contract. About your role

The Independent Chair of the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP) will provide effective oversight of safeguarding governance and will work closely with the Head of Safeguarding to set agendas, monitor performance and actions and facilitate wider strategic conversations as needed with DSAP representatives and wider stakeholders and partners.
The Independent Chair ensures the DSAP has strategic overview of safeguarding practice across the diocese and is in line with the House of Bishops policy and practice guidance. The Chair will work with the Head of Safeguarding to ensure that the DSAP functions effectively. They will also assess and offer views to the Bishop and Diocesan Secretary on whether the safeguarding team are appropriately resourced as well as the diversity of skill set and experience/background of its members. This will be used to inform resourcing decisions made by the Diocesan Board of Finance.
The Independent Chair is an ad hoc point of contact for safeguarding advice for the Head of Safeguarding, Bishop of Leeds and Diocesan Secretary.
Time commitment
The committee meet three times per year at church house in Leeds. Chairs should also allow for preparation time and additional meetings to support both the organisation and members of the committee.
Renumeration
£400 per 6 hours (6 hour day)
