You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the North London.

The Junction is an out of hours service, open 365 evenings a year, to support and assist individuals experiencing a mental health concern. Guildford Foyer provides 24 hour supported accommodation housing up to 34 young people aged 16-25 who have multiple and complex needs, including many who are unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people. We provide support to our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. Our supportive staff team comprises of Support Workers, night staff and two managers.
We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our Guildford Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Safety and security
- Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house welcome to residents, visitors and staff, and ensure the building is safe, secure quiet and welcoming
- Maximise the wellbeing of residents and visitors by ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and house rules, all within the terms of tenancy agreements
- Assess and monitor the risks presented by residents to ensure they can keep themselves safe and, where possible, continue their development
- Record all incidents and accidents and share appropriately with the wider team, your manager and, if necessary, the central safeguarding team
Engagement with residents
- Welcome residents home and provide informal and responsive support so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives
- Ensure resident’s views, aspirations, concerns, and ideas are sought so they can play an active role in influencing the services they receive
- Proactively promote the services on offer and ensure residents are encouraged to engage with those services
- Contribute to, or support, evening groupwork activities so that residents can access tailored solutions that meet their needs, wishes and aspirations
Administration and housekeeping
- Undertake tasks as directed, including but not limited to: inputting data, assessments, reviews, case notes onto our client database and entering new residents details/closing ex-resident records

General

As a Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting and supporting a diverse team of volunteers. Working closely with the Centre Managers and Assistant Managers, you will ensure that our volunteers are fully integrated into the team, ensuring that the team welcome and collaborate with these wonderful people.

As intern you will report into the Policy & Outreach Manager and play an active part in ISEAL´s activities involving China and Chinese stakeholders:
- Support quarterly China-focused ISEAL community member meetings, including preparation work for the meeting, logistics, setting up slides, taking notes and help address any follow up actions
- Participate in meetings with organisations as part of ongoing collaboration, including any logistics, note taking and support follow up actions

Competencies required
- Good organisational and administrative skills, including ability to schedule meetings, set up virtual calls, take notes and keep information up to date
- Good time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with good attention to detail
- Excellent written & spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely
- Comfortable communicating with international stakeholders in online and in person setting (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
- Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, etc)
- Academic or other background in policy, politics or sustainability
- Interest in social, environmental, and economic sustainability
- Ideally, mandarin speaker with native fluency and with ability to read simplified Chinese at advanced level
- If language proficiency in Mandarin / Chinese is at lower level, in-depth knowledge of Chinese political landscape may be sufficient
Additionally desirable
- Some understanding of, sustainability standards and certification, which may have been gained in academic, internship, employment or voluntary settings

The Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) is a Charity and Company Limited by guarantee and is the representative body for Directors of Public Health (DPH) in the UK.
It seeks to improve and protect the health of the population through collating and presenting the views of DsPH; advising on public health policy and legislation at a local, regional, national and international level; facilitating a support network for DsPH; and providing opportunities for DsPH to develop professional practice.
The Association has a rich heritage, its origins dating back more than 160 years. It is a collaborative organisation working in partnership with others to maximise the voice for public health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, delivery and evaluation of the Association’s events, including membership workshops and masterclasses, and arranging and minuting meetings with members and key stakeholders, all to tight deadlines. They will therefore be required to be pro-active, with exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, a keen attention to detail, and preferably have experience of working independently in an administrative role.
The role’s responsibilities will also include the preparation and dissemination of the Association’s newsletters and induction of new members and as such will require the accurate maintenance of records and regular correspondence both internally across the teams and externally with members. Candidates are therefore required to have a strong background in Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Working across the organisation the role will serve as an excellent introduction to the work of the Association and its members, and the wider role of Public Health in society. About the role:
The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day running of the global operations of Reprieve UK and Reprieve US and our work around the globe.
They will be responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, overseeing, and evaluating the systems, processes and relationships that enable caseworkers, fellows, and consultants to do the challenging work that they do as efficiently, safely and effectively as possible.
