This exciting Events Fundraising Executive role is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Whizz Kidz third-party events portfolio, including the London Marathon where we have over 500 runners this year.
You will project manage our events from set up and planning, to recruiting and stewarding supporters whilst maintaining an excellent level of supporter care. It is an exciting time to join Whizz Kidz following a recent rebrand and growth in the team, you will be able to make a real difference to young wheelchair users.
You will be an enthusiastic and driven professional, with project management, administration and data skills, with experience in customer care and events.
Key accountabilities
• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from event participants
• Able to build and develop relationships with event participants
• Responsible for general administrative duties such as coding income, thanking supporters and managing and maintaining accurate records on Raiser’s Edge
• Support on event days with logistics and set up
• Support with volunteer recruitment for the London Marathon.
You will have a strong eye for detail, great organisational skills and a pro-active approach to work. You will understand the importance of delivering exceptional supporter care and stewardship journeys to raise value funds.
You will also need:
• Knowledge of events fundraising (preferably third party) and fundraising practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills -with the ability to authentically communicate to support fundraisers, convey the work of the Whizz Kidz and show impact of support
• Ability to build and develop strong relationships, internally and externally, to be able to maximise opportunities
• Ability to manage deadlines and effectively balance a varied and ever-changing workload whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Use initiative to drive things forward, solve problem and seek opportunities to grow income and brand awareness
• Basic understanding of fundraising compliance and law.

• Experience of event fundraising within the charity sector
• Experience of delivering excellent supporter care and stewardship to maximise opportunities and promote brand loyalty
• Experience of using and maintaining a database
• Demonstrable track record of building strong relationship management with multiple fundraisers, with different motivations, value and support needs.

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in the brand new role of Governance and Executive Officer.
You will provide proactive and efficient secretariat and administrative support to the Executive and Non-Executive Teams, working closely with the Leadership Team to support the fulfilment of their day-to-day tasks and strategic objectives.
The role includes supporting and organising meetings and reports, and minuting of executive meetings. In addition to general PA and administrative duties, you will provide a cohesive secretariat function to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Mind THNR Board and its sub-committees.
You will work closely with the Leadership Team to set agendas, monitor action logs, and provide a high level of support to the Board. You will share collective responsibility for supporting the delivery of business objectives, through active engagement and collaboration with colleagues at all levels in the organisation
This role is flexible in terms of days and hours, although you need to attend Board meetings in person, once a quarter in the evening and committee meetings, which are also in the evening, but on line, so three evening meetings a quarter. We are based in a beautiful office in Tower Hamlets, with lots of outside space and a café, so ideally you would be present in the office two or three days a week ( if full time).

The Corporate Partnership Officer - Morrisons will deliver effective and high-quality support to the Morrisons account management team, assisting with all areas of fundraising and event coordination. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial and supporter records, conducting research, and ensuring smooth operational processes within this major partnership. This role will be key in helping the partnership team raise circa £5 million annually for Marie Curie.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate mailings, certificates, newsletters, and fundraising packs for the Morrisons Partnership team.
- Provide excellent supporter care, serving as the main contact for Morrisons fundraising inquiries via phone, email, post, and website; handle requests, manage the thank-you process, and update donor records.
- Build relationships with corporate partnership colleagues to encourage fundraising, offering ideas where needed.

As a Health & Wellbeing Coach and Social Prescriber, you will:

About the role:
The Non-Crimes Assessment Worker will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. They will work within the team to make proactive contact attempts with a high volume of new referrals. Their main focus will be contacting the police cases that may otherwise not get referred into the service. Once this contact is established complete initial needs and risk assessments. They shall provide initial advice and crisis safety planning before the case is allocated to an IDVA/caseworker or referred to the appropriate partner agency for ongoing support. They will provide this high quality support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from the age of 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. They will advise women on criminal justice, civil remedies, housing and related matters.
About You:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and children. Be skilled in risk management and safety planning and is experienced in domestic violence advocacy, who has worked with a high volume of clients who have complex and multiple needs. You will have a countenance that remains calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis and you will have experience working within safeguarding procedures.
