About the Role
Are you someone who is passionate about seeing positive change in our world? Can you bring knowledge and creativity in designing innovative and effective peacebuilding programmes?
We are looking for someone to support our programmes and institutional fundraising with excellent writing skills, who is passionate about addressing the root causes of and inequalities caused by conflict. You will be someone passionate about the work Cord does and who can bring technical institutional funding expertise alongside peacebuilding knowledge to our small and committed team.
In this role you will lead the development of new programmes and institutional funding bids in line with Cord’s peacebuilding approach and 5 main programme areas. You will manage proposal submissions to Cord’s key donors such as the EU, US State Department, GIZ, SDC, UN Peacebuilding Fund etc. You will be working closely with country teams to design and write proposals based on strong project designs developed in partnership with our local partners.
The role will also operate at a strategic level by managing Cord’s relationships with key donors and shaping how Cord communicates about its programmes and the added-value that Cord brings.

About the role
As a Regional Corporate Partnerships Manager, you'll make a mark on our Corporate Partnerships team, winning and creating exciting new partnerships for BHF.
In this role, you’ll be an essential member of the Corporate Partnerships Team, playing an integral role in shaping the future of our partnerships, ensuring targets for new business acquisition and subsequent account management are achieved.
Additionally support, empower, and enable the community fundraising teams to maximise their success in winning, retaining, and growing corporate partnerships.
Working arrangements
This part time 17 hour per week role will join a job share with an existing employee. Your working days will be Wednesday (full day), Thursday (full day), and Friday (morning). This is initially a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with potential to be made permanent. We are ideally looking to start someone in the role in March 2025.
This is a field-based role with some travel (approximately 2-3 trips per month) to meet with partners, prospects, and Community Fundraising teams across Scotland, the North, and North West of England (from Cumbria to Nantwich, including Manchester, Liverpool, and Warrington). Additionally, there will be occasional travel to Northern Ireland and Wales. You’ll be reimbursed for all reasonable travel expenses.
As this is a regional role and given the current pipeline of opportunities, we are looking for candidates who live in the North West of England, Scotland or Wales.
On occasion, you may also be required to work flexibly to support evening and weekend activity. Where this is the case, you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.
About you
As our perfect candidate, you bring end-to-end experience of identifying a partnership opportunity, taking the prospect through the sales cycle, and securing the corporate partnership. You have demonstrable experience in thinking commercially and winning high value opportunities.
With excellent communication, networking, influencing, and relationship building skills, you have proven experience of working with others to secure significant bids, sharing skills and experiences with those around you.
A results-oriented go-getter, you are always willing to pick up the phone and reach out to cold prospects and have a demonstrable track record of building and writing partnership proposals and delivering presentations to board-level decision makers.
Integral to coming into this role is your experience in winning new business, whether it’s from working for a charity in corporate partnerships or in the private sector in a sales role.
A strategic thinker, you’ll be brimming with innovative and creative ways to win new business. You'll also be confident in presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have experience of developing CRM/product promotion and sponsorship partnerships.
You can work under your own initiative from a home base while still contributing positively to the regional teams.
It is desirable (although not essential) for you to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Job Overview
- Responsible for developing and delivering all fundraising events with the support of the Fundraising Events Manager
- Ensure that all event participants - virtual or physical have an exceptional experience to maximise income and are placed at the heart of everything that we do.
- Build excellent relationships with event participants to ensure future event participation.
- Support the FEM in creating and implementing user journeys for each event and review regularly based on audience insight and current event fundraising trends.
- Create tailored fundraising materials with the support of our marketing team.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure that all event project plans are in place, liaise with stakeholders to ensure that all deadlines are met, working within budget and ensuring income targets are met.
- Steward participants based on their supporter journey. To include calls, sending supporter communications, providing fundraising support, following up to ensure donations are received, personalised thanking and survey.
- Attendance at events to enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Ben.
- Work with FEM and marketing team to produce marketing collateral, merchandise and other support materials based on each event.
- Ensure that all participants have a fundraising page on Enthuse and Salesforce is updated with all current contact information. Including income and communications.
- To lead and deliver on certain Ben and Third-party events including supervising Ben employees and on-site contractors.
- Ensure that all bookings are invoiced, and payment received.
- Monitor and maintain social media groups and WhatsApp groups created for our Fundraising Events
- Update webpages relating to our Fundraising events with current content.
- Identify and capture inspiring stories from our event participants to share across our media and digital channels.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Support and grow fundraising groups with guidance from the Region's Fundraising Volunteer Development Manager.
- Form new community fundraising groups by hosting events and meetings with potential volunteers.
- Execute an annual volunteer recruitment plan, including volunteer induction, training, and management.
- Building Fundraising Relationships
- Provide excellent stewardship to supporters, expanding the network of individuals, groups, and corporate supporters.
- Follow up on leads from the Hot Prospect Action List and represent Marie Curie confidently in various settings.
- Support high-value event participants to achieve targets and deliver excellent service to the public, encouraging support.
- Collaborate with local businesses, Marie Curie Retail staff, and other fundraising teams to support initiatives.
- Meet annual budgets and performance targets, providing timely updates and monthly reports to the Head of Region.

You will have significant experience and a proven track record in developing and delivering fundraising strategy, particularly focused on trusts, foundations and philanthropy, taking a relationship-based approach to build partnerships with organisations that share similar values and vision.
You will work with the team to build our capability, partnership, systems and processes to steward relationships, develop grants and manage their delivery. Working with our Communications Co-ordinator you will help to build INTRAC’s profile and position in line with our strategic vision and ambitions. You will have active support from the CEO along with strong board commitment to help develop and deliver this role.
This is a part time role (0.6-0.8 FTE); initially offered as an eighteen month contract with the intention to extend should the role be successful.
We are a remote organisation, with staff working across the UK. As we become a global network we are looking at options as to how to expand our staff base in different geographies, as we believe this will benefit INTRAC and support our strategic direction. The Role
As the Corporate and Relationships Manager, you will:

About the role
You’ll manage, coach and develop a team of eight home based Parkinson’s Local Advisers (PLAs) to deliver a high standard of service across Scotland. You’ll ensure that the team is supported in meeting service demand which will include more complex casework, covering gaps, or supporting new/inexperienced colleagues.
You’ll work with colleagues across the wider Parkinson’s UK Scotland team to support the delivery of local priorities to reach and support more people affected by Parkinson’s.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a team of Parkinson’s Local Advisers to deliver a professional service that gives accurate, tailored information and support based on needs in line with optimal service practice
- Ensure quality service standards are met, including assessing needs, advocacy, information and support given and referrals
- Provide support and guidance to your team of advisers, including on complex casework and safeguarding cases. Occasional need to pick up direct casework at busy times/absences etc.
- Ensure appropriate staffing cover and support other teams as required

About the Role
