As a Veterans Clinical Advisor you will:

• Act as the single initial point of contact between the  with the resultant long-term health issues, and the NHS, integrating Help for Heroes input to the medical pathway with the Recovery MDT process. 
• Where appropriate develop and coordinate a Veterans Injury Clinic alongside the NHS.
• Provide Clinical advice and support to the veterans, their families/support network and Help for Heroes staff.

You will be joining the clinical team at Help For Heroes to provide community based input to wounded, injured and sick armed forces veterans. Growing, planning & delivering KCLSU campaigns

• Provide resources, support and mentoring to student officers and student campaigners, utilising digital and offline organising models of engagement, to support them to develop hard-hitting and effective campaigns.
• Coordinate and work with KCLSU teams to support representatives and members in delivering their campaigns and communicate the impact of campaigning at KCLSU, building interest and recruiting new activists as a result.

We are seeking a new Head of Business and Operations to play a crucial role in supporting the Head to review and drive continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:

Assist in the daily management of the Raiser's Edge database, ensuring data accuracy through regular audits.

Provide training and advice to colleagues on database access and usage, ensuring compliance with best practices.

Reconcile and process donations from various sources, including BACS, credit cards, and online platforms.

Run direct debit and gift aid claims, ensuring valid documentation is maintained.

Provide key data and segmentation for fundraising appeals and emails, working closely with the communications team.

Essential requirements:

• Experience in CRM systems (preferably Raiser's Edge) and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Demonstrable experience supporting charities and fundraising teams in a data role
• Confident working with large datasets
• Solid understanding of GDPR and data confidentiality.
• Excellent communicator, a team player, and have a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise daily tasks and manage deadlines.

The Community Leader will oversee the management of our community services and activities, ensuring the programmes align with local needs, our strategic goals and available funding. 

Key Responsibilities

·Design and implement a comprehensive activities programme that addresses the social, educational and wellbeing f the community.

·Manage the day-to-day operations of our programme, ensuring the seamless delivery of activities and collaborating with all stakeholders to provide high-quality, holistic services.

·Ensure effective project management practices are consistently applied in your work, fostering efficiency and accountability.

·Oversee the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of all community activities, ensuring they align with funding requirements and high-quality reports are provided to funders and partners.

 ·Work closely with colleagues and key stakeholders to identify funding opportunities, and prepare and submit high-quality funding applications.

·Build trust and strong relationships with local residents by organising co-production, engagement and consultation opportunities that involve people with lived experience.

·Collaborate with community members to develop and support campaigns that drive change for specific resident groups and continuously improve our referral processes to provide comprehensive support.

·Work with partners, community-led groups, and representatives across various sectors and organisations to enhance support for community members.

·Develop engaging marketing materials, including leaflets, website content, and social media posts, to ensure our services are widely advertised and accessible to a diverse audience.

·Oversee all administrative aspects of project activities and coordinate volunteer and staff schedules.

Key information

Salary: £37,000 – 39,000 per annum (pro rata £31,700 to £33,400)

Hours: 30 hours per week (over a minimum of 4 days)

Contract: Fixed term contract until 30 April 2026 (extension subject to funding)

Holidays: 25 days per year plus bank holidays (pro rata)

Report to: Executive Director

Line-manage:  1 Community Development Coordinator and 3 Community Organisers

We’re looking for two creative individuals to join us as Marketing Officers and play a vital role at the heart of our marketing operations. About the role

The Marketing Officer role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager. The focus of this role will be to support on creative and paid media plans for integrated national and local marketing campaigns, across a variety of Shelter functions. The role will receive on the job training for key marketing skills like writing creative briefs and running paid social campaigns.

About the team

The Marketing team works together to communicate the housing emergency and its solutions in relevant and engaging ways. This helps key audiences understand what we are fighting for, why and how.  We work closely with our Services, Campaigns, Fundraising and Retail divisions to help achieve strategic objectives.
