About the role: 

Support to Head of Advice and Support

• Line management of three case workers
• Deliver the service in accordance with Providence Row, policies & procedures and values
• Work to service improvement objectives and team plans
• Contribute to the day to day management of the premises to ensure that facilities run smoothly for staff and service users
• Support management and other workers to manage any Incidents on site
• Contribute to partnership development
• Work alongside colleagues to ensure cross departmental support and appropriate support of shared clients

Client support

• Contribute to the smooth running of the Centre to ensure Providence Row is an enabling environment
• Assist managers and the frontline team to review client related incidents and follow up on complaints
• To ensure all clients are given appropriate trauma informed advice & support to improve their situation
• Ensure safeguarding of vulnerable adults processes are followed, where necessary and work with the organisational safeguarding lead

Team support

•   Supervise three case workers
•  Complete regular supervision, case work management and annual appraisals
• Contribute to the Providence Row assessment procedure
• Support colleagues with technical queries relating to case progression
• Attend training relating to housing advice and present the learning back to staff teams
•  Ensuring the team are rehearsed in all policies and procedures
•  Support the team to identify training for continued learning and development

Monitor and evaluate work, demonstrating impact

• Ensuring monitoring systems are up to date and that development is ongoing
• Assisting with the review of assessment and recording systems
• Working with other department leads on service user feedback collation
• Keeping accurate financial records of the teams expenditure
• Oversee Advice & Support Team contract monitoring reports for commissioners to ensure delivery against the service objectives and KPI’s.
• Attend contract monitoring meetings alongside the Head of Advice & Support

Partnership Work

• Work with the Head of Advice & Support to identify new partnerships while also developing existing arrangements
• Supporting the team with attendance at key networking events
• Contributing to the community engagement plan
• Contribution to fundraising and community events including open evenings

Working requirements, salary & benefits

• Salary between £22,000 and £24,000 dependant on location and experience, plus pension scheme

The Role:

upReach has grown quickly over the last 5 years, and our successful Income Generation brings with it a number of administrative elements, which are currently spread across numerous team members. We are investing in this new position in order to centralise those diverse admin responsibilities, with the Income and Finance Liaison Senior Officer taking full ownership of the associated processes and deliverables, and helping to establish "best practice" to support the Charity in our next growth phase.

The Income and Finance Liaison Senior Officer will contribute to the growth of upReach by working across the Income Generation and Finance teams contributing to a wide range of income and finance related activities. You will support the teams to meet income targets and deliver the 2024-27 strategic plan.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will work closely with the Director of Finance, CEO, Finance and Programmes teams, and colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team;  supporting them to meet financial targets, provide excellent stewardship and to  implement key administrative and financial processes. 

The core responsibilities include: 

Income generation and External Engagement

• Ownership of a range of administrative tasks, including stewarding of donors and partners and support of the Development Board.

• Promptly addressing incoming queries from supporters and partners, including email, telephone and post; assist the team by managing;

  • Departmental email inboxes

  • Prioritising requests and responding where appropriate

• Oversee the management of contracts with partners and funders; generate, issue and follow up in a timely fashion.

• Support the timely production of monthly management reports.

• Play a key role in the complaints procedures for the department and conduct full investigations where needed.

• Work with the team to ensure all relevant data is created and maintained regularly and accurately on the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database.

• Keep on top of developments, changes in trends and patterns, new techniques and legislation. 

Finance

• Act as the key liaison point between the income generation and finance team.

• Work with Finance to identify and find solutions to bottlenecks in the purchase order, invoicing and payment process.

• Ensure that money coming into the charity can be identified and coded accurately on the CRM database and finance systems.

• Create and maintain accurate records in the finance system, including billing values, timings and dates.

Team Working

• Work with colleagues across the department and organisation.

• Lead and support rotatees (Team members on the Graduate scheme) and volunteers as required.

• Support the implementation of business improvement and people development initiatives.

The Local Storytelling Exchange is seeking a highly motivated individual to work closely with the Executive Director to drive forward the scale and pace of impact at the Exchange.

The Local Storytelling Exchange is uses storytelling and community engagement to shape a collective narrative of support for a fair green transition. Storytellers work in different regions/geographies to tell stories about individuals, groups and businesses who are finding more sustainable ways to live and work showing 'this is what the transition looks like'.

We are looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join an incredible medical charity and support in delivering growth in voluntary income. The role will will focus on Retention and will use data and insight to deliver across a variety of channels including digital, email, social media, direct mail, telemarketing and SMS.

The role can either be UK homebased working, with once a month in the London office or Hybrid working with two days a week in the London office. Salary range is dependant on Location £27,250 - £29,697 if homebased or £30,300 - £33,533 Inclusive of London Weighting)

The Role
Manage the delivery of all Retention campaigns from concept through to evaluation, using data and insight to drive
creative and production.

Be responsible for collation of all KPI tracking, trend analysis and activity results that feed into the teams reporting and
performance structure.

Work alongside the Content team to research and develop Retention/Acquisition products, journeys and communications.

Contribute to the direct marketing strategy by working with the Direct Marketing Manager to highlight sector trends and support the teams budget and income targets.

The Candidate
Experience in a third sector direct marketing role.

Experience of running effective marketing campaigns on a national or regional basis.

• Ability to engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels – both internal and external.

Role Requirements

The Head of Health & Safety is the lead and designated “competent person” for all health and safety matters, including fire safety at The Children’s Trust underpinning the three key work streams: “safe care,” “safe workplace” (including occupational health and well-being), and “safe retail and (fundraising) events”. The role holder has the authority to require the immediate cessation of any unsafe working practices.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.
