The TSA is seeking a highly experienced, confident and capable Head of Fundraising to provide leadership and direction on all aspects of income generation. The charity has gone from strength to strength over the last 24 months, including income generation, and we are looking for an experienced fundraising professional to continue this amazing work.
Working closely with the TSA’s Joint Chief Executives, you’ll join the Senior Management Team and will be expected to successfully implement our new three-year fundraising strategy, which aims to diversify and raise income in a sensible yet ambitious way.

Head of Fundraising responsibilities
Strategic, leadership and management

Provide leadership for fundraising and income generation across the TSA team. Attend regular strategy meetings and be a leading voice in shaping the TSA’s income generation activities

Lead in the development, implementation and review of fundraising polices and strategy ensuring they are in line with the overall organisation business plan

Provide line management for the Fundraising Manager and Grants and Trusts Manager, including regular meetings and ensuring that the fundraising team are fulfilling all areas of their roles, meeting agreed KPI’s and achieving set income targets

Lead on the annual business planning and budget cycle for the income generation

Effectively collect and analyse data to demonstrate income trends, the impact of fundraising and income generation. Use this data to inform quarterly reports to the Board of Trustees, determine the impact of the team’s work and drive continual improvements in policy and practice

General Statement of Duties:
To significantly increase the hospital’s voluntary income (primarily unrestricted) through the development and management of mid-value fundraising appeals, stewarding mid-level donors, regular donors, and fundraising committees with some event support.
The success of this role will be dependent on developing excellent relationships with our fundraising committees and regular donors. This role will work in conjunction with a small, dedicated team in London to provide fundraising, communications, and events support to two dedicated community fundraising groups.
Key Criteria for success:
· Develop excellent working relationships with Hospital’s fundraising committees, and in-aid of supporters.
· Provide finance, event, admin, and communications support to our committees.

Main responsibilities:
· Manage the key relationships with the Guild fundraising committee and the SOA fundraising committee including communication, administration, and event support. One day per week will be set aside by the post holder to conduct and manage Guild responsibilities and tasks.
· Manage the key relationship with the Knights Templar sub-groups, and the County Priory Groups across the UK.

The Role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will take on a key role, creating the income we need to undertake our vital work supporting disabled people.
We are looking to further develop and diversify our income streams beyond Trusts and foundation and focus on increasing donations from individuals with an interest in our cause.
Growing our individual supporter base, you will recruit new supporters and build on the excellent foundations laid by our outgoing Community Fundraiser to raise our profile amongst our neighbours.

The employer is an independent charity that provides emotional and practical support to cancer patients. It was named after one of its patients Alan Dumbell. We are one of 46 independent Wildlife Trusts operating across the UK. In this role, you have the opportunity to build networks with equivalent roles in other Wildlife Trusts and to work with the national team to further fundraising, membership, communications and public engagement across the Wildlife Trust movement.
A full driving licence is essential. This is a full time, 35 hours per week position on a permanent contract.

About the role:
