The Role
This role is all about people – connecting with church leaders and other individuals within church communities, sharing your passion for freedom of religion or belief through sermons, presentations and conversations to inspire others to take action. You’ll be a natural networker and someone entrepreneurial who takes initiative and comes up with your own ideas for how best to reach busy church leaders and congregations. You will be self-motivated and able to work collaboratively.
Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):
- Proactively source speaking engagements in churches across the UK and fulfil these engagements, both by deploying a network of staff and volunteer speakers and by speaking yourself.
- Develop a plan to reach new and lapsed churches for CSW
- Use the CRM, as well as your own connections, to identify key church stakeholders to approach about partnering with CSW
- Build meaningful relationships with new and existing church partners, with the view to supporting churches in learning about justice and religious freedom issues and establishing or renewing support through prayer, campaigning and giving

- We are seeking two ambitious New Partnerships Leads with a strong track record of identifying, cultivating and winning six and seven figure charity of the year, cause related marketing, sponsorship, brand and strategic partnerships.
- With a sector-led approach, you will have responsibility and accountability for developing and implementing successful sector strategies and proactively generating leads to build, maintain and convert your own high-value pipeline.

Additional Criteria for Success:

The Listening Place offers free, confidential, face-to-face support for people feeling suicidal, provided by highly trained volunteers using active listening skills. Over eight years, the charity has grown rapidly, with now over 800 volunteers delivering up to 150 appointments daily across three sites. TLP receives 750 new referrals every month and will provide support to 8000 people struggling with suicidal feelings this year. This growth, achieved without waiting lists, highlights how TLP balances ambition with a commitment to high-quality, person-centered support. With plans to expand to East London and strong donor and media interest, it’s an exciting time to join this effective, community-led service.
This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for giving TLP a voice across external and internal communications. Through dependable, precise and creative communications, you will help TLP meet its three key communication objectives:

The Communications Coordinator will:
Working under the direction of the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development, delivery, analysis and growth of TLP’s communications through effective copy for internal and external stakeholders. This includes:
- Leading on day-to-day account management and content creation for organic and paid activity on TLP social media channels.
- Planning and executing activities for national campaigns including World Suicide Prevention Day and Mental Health Week.
- Working with and supporting teams from across the organisation to execute engaging internal and external communications and digital campaigns including monthly volunteer and supporter newsletters.

Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of the Partnerships Manager role is to lead on the delivery of first-class account management to a diverse portfolio of corporate partners, generating income to support Breaking Barriers’ work. Each partnership at Breaking Barriers is bespoke, comprising fundraising, skilled volunteering, awareness raising and, crucially, placement and job opportunities for our refugee clients.
Working closely with the wider Partnerships Management and Programmes teams, you will be responsible for launching new partnerships and retaining business by deepening relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
The successful candidate will have experience managing corporate partner relationships, including making fundraising asks and managing external communication with donors and partners at all levels of seniority. You will deploy your influencing skills and ability to build profitable relationships to great effect as you take a leading role identifying and nurturing future strategic partnerships. An understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility would be advantageous.

Role context:
Cord’s turnover is about £2m a year. About 85% of Cord’s funding is restricted, coming from institutional donors like the EU and the US government, and 15% (about £300K) is unrestricted coming from a committed UK supporter base and other private fundraising streams.
In 2024, Cord operates in eight countries and has offices in Burundi, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia & Philippines. Cord has a global team of thirty people with finance staff across six country teams.
The Finance Manager role is a newly created role which is being introduced to strengthen the organisation’s financial management and control systems. The postholder will work across the breadth of the finance function preparing internal management accounts and external annual accounts.
In 2024, Cord changed its finance system to use Business Central. The Finance Manager will become the organisation’s main ‘admin’ user of the finance system. In the near-term, there will be a particular focus on rolling out further functionality of the system.
The Finance Manager will have oversight of the UK finance function through the line management of the UK Finance Officer and will directly deliver on the international side of operations in the areas of donor compliance, programme financial management, partner financial monitoring, and reporting. The role will involve travel to international programme locations.

Role:

Reporting into the Commercial Director you will also work closely with other members of the Senior Management Team across the charity.

Reporting into the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement, this strategic role is essential to the future growth of the charity’s profile and income. This role will lead the Transformation and Innovation function within Fundraising and Supporter Engagement which acts as an internal consultancy and change management function to challenge the status quo, foster a culture of innovation across all teams and look for and support the implementation of new and improved ways of working to drive increased profile and income diversification.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement oversee the roadmap and implementation of our Fundraising and Engagement three-year strategy
· Establish tools and processes to support the Directorate to deliver on our goals and hold ourselves accountable to the strategy ambition
· Support Heads and wider teams to monitor and report on KPIs for the successful deployment of the new strategy, monitoring impact and recommend any adjustments

The Role
As the Head of Individual Giving, you will lead a team of 7 (with headcount currently split between acquisition and retention) in delivering innovative strategies to accelerate income growth. You will need to be a direct marketing specialist with a proven track record in driving acquisition strategies, working at pace, and adapting to change accordingly. Acquisition will be a significant focus over the coming years, with investment to support this. The charity has exciting plans to grow and diversify the supporter base, as well as developing audience first supporter journeys, providing donors with the best possible experience.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and peers across the charity, ensuring open collaboration and alignment across teams, while helping drive a creative, data-led approach that puts supporters at the heart of all direct marketing activities.
