As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of People and Culture will work  in a spirit of mutual accountability with fellow directors, taking strategic leadership of Turn2us’s People and Culture Directorate. You’ll have responsibility for strengthening our culture and supporting all our people managers to attract, develop and retain colleagues who are committed to our values and guiding principles.

You will take proactive leadership of our Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) work across the organisation so that we can become more inclusive and diverse, as well as oversee our approach to co-production, making sure that we centre the voices and insights of people with experience of financial insecurity in the design of all our work. Importantly, you will also provide rigorous oversight of our approach to safeguarding and our broader approaches to governance, risk, and compliance across the group – which includes our wholly owned care home business, Elizabeth Finn Homes.

The Consultant role will support the Director and Mobilise team to coordinate and  deliver a range of projects supporting our clients. This new and exciting role is well suited to an individual that enjoys building new connections, working with and supporting people and organisations to learn and develop, values working to a high standard and wants to bring about change. The post holder's duties will primarily focus on providing capacity building support to third sector organisations alongside organising events, undertaking community outreach, building and maintaining relationships and networks, writing reports based on analysis and research, and engaging with clients and project stakeholders to prepare bids and deliver new work. 

Main Duties:

• Plan and manage projects to ensure activities are delivered effectively to timescale and budget

• Plan and deliver fieldwork, outreach projects and events to engage residents and organisations 

• Work as part of a team to deliver projects with associates and partner companies

• Undertake research and data collection, including resident engagement activities

• Lead and support the design and delivery of workshops, training opportunities, and resources to support NFP organisations on a range of key capacity building areas 

• Undertake organisational health checks and keep accurate and up to date records

• Undertake monitoring and evaluation activities

• Help create content and materials for communications purposes and social media

• Work closely with project leads to prepare reporting and supporting documents

• Support the development of Mobilise Public Ltd and its people, including supporting the development of tenders and proposals

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required (Essential) 

• Supporting/Working with or in not for profit (NFP) organisations, in particular voluntary, community and/or social enterprises 

• Knowledge of key areas that create a strong and sustainable NFP organisation

• Knowledge or experience of working with NFP organisations of different sizes from grassroots to key anchor and national level organisations and a clear understanding of their current challenges

• Facilitating and developing or supporting events, workshops, focus groups or other similar activities

• Delivering fieldwork and outreach approaches to successfully recruit and engage a wide range of people and organisations

• Help identify an organisation’s development needs

• Excellent people skills that enable you to work sensitively and build trust to develop working relationships with a diverse range of people, organisations and clients from different sectors

Key Terms 

• Salary Range: £27,500-£38,000 (FTE), depending on experience 

• Negotiable full or part time hours – (minimum of 0.6 FTE). The role is open to compressed working in accordance with the needs of the job

The Diocese of Guildford has an exciting part-time opportunity for a Community Lead to manage our Hear Here project.

The Hear Here Project is a community-focused initiative which involves collaboration between the Diocese, Parishes, NHS Audiology Departments and Sight for Surrey to assist those who wear an NHS-issued hearing aid with any technical issues at clinics run by trained hearing champions. The clinics helps to break the cycle of isolation often experienced by those with hearing loss.

The project, powered by volunteers, operates in parish churches and other community spaces, forming a key part of the diocese's "Growing Communities" strategy.

The role involves leading, managing, and ensuring the governance of Hear Here across the diocese. The Community Project Lead will work closely with volunteers, maintaining high clinic standards and fostering relationships with key partners to secure the project’s future and enhance its outreach potential.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Providing overall leadership and manage the daily activities of Hear Here.

· Promote the project across the diocese, ensuring it is recognised as a vital part of parish outreach and mission.

· Collect and analyse data from clinics for accurate and timely reporting.

· Respond to telephone and email enquiries, assisting new clients in accessing clinics and keep the online directory current.

· Identify, pursue, and secure ongoing funding to sustain and expand the project.

· Increase the visibility of Hear Here within the Diocese to expand the clinics and enhance their role in community outreach.

· Work with the NHS trusts to provide up-to-date training and support.

· Manage a team of volunteers to ensure clinics run consistently, safely, and according to required standards.

· Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Administer and oversee project governance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a UK driving licence and have their own vehicle as the position requires travel around the diocese from time to time.

Job Title: Prospect Research Executive (hybrid/flexible working)

Overview of the Role:

We are looking to recruit a Prospect Research Executive to join our supportive and friendly team. The Prospect Research Executive will report into the Development Engagement Manager in a dynamic Fundraising team and will play an important part in building philanthropy at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), providing research to support fundraisers to make informed decisions to engage, cultivate and solicit gifts from prospects and peer to peer networks.

The RHS already has an enviable network of contacts supporting our work, but we need to expand our network of trusts and major donors to help fund our ambitious targets. You will provide insights into new areas of prospecting to continually replenish the prospect pipeline with high-capacity prospects to meet current and future income targets.

In this role you will lead on researching both trusts and individuals, producing donor profiles, reports and biographies with great attention to detail, allowing fundraisers to make informed choices and maximise opportunities on a variety of fundraising activities. You will also be responsible for producing due diligence reports and have a working knowledge of GDPR best practice.

You will have a strong understanding of fundraising, together with experience of researching high net worth individuals, company directors, and or family trust and foundations boards, the ability to use a CRM database, along with a genuine desire to help us access some of the biggest funding sources available.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role 

As Crisis’ Media Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health.

Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. At Crisis we always champion the voices and experiences of the people who we support. You’ll help create bold and hard-hitting news stories to engage our audiences and bring to life some of our biggest organisational campaigns, like our annual Christmas appeal. You will also help make the most of reactive opportunities that come through to our press office and help build relationships with key journalists. 

About you 

You will have: 

• Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist. 

• Experience of supporting with or delivering impactful media campaigns or stories that have helped secure quality coverage in national and regional news outlets, as well as softer consumer features.

• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging copy for a range of audiences, including political, consumer, tabloid, trade and everything in between. 

• Experience of working with case studies, identifying and preparing stories for the media and empowering people to share their experiences.

• Strong news sense, with a good working knowledge of the UK media, including digital media production, with experience of creating digital first coverage and amplifying campaign messages creatively in the digital sphere.

Their dynamic fundraising team generated £4.5 million through donations in 2023/2024, and they are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital. They are seeking a proactive, experienced, and hands-on individual to join the team as a Senior Data Selection & Insights Officer on a permanent basis.

Key details:

Role: Senior Data Selection & Insights Officer

Location: Hybrid working with regular attendance to the central office (NW3)

Salary: circa £33,000 per annum plus benefits

Contract: Full time, permanent (with flexible working requests considered)

Amongst other criteria, the successful candidate will have:

* Demonstrable experience of using Raiser's Edge (RE7/RE NXT) or similar fundraising Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).

* Experience using Microsoft PowerBI for data visualisation and analysis.

* Data analysis skills with an understanding of a range of statistical techniques.

* Experience of producing large complex multi-channel marketing selections for a fundraising department.

* Strong IT skills, proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as CRM systems.

Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a unique blend of marketer, fundraiser, and data analyst, equipped with the unique ability to analyse and interpret data to drive and evolve campaigns, as well as aid in developing new products. Your natural curiosity will lead you to explore and interrogate all available data points, both online and offline. You'll excel in clearly communicating complex data findings to non-technical colleagues at all levels.

Apply your skills to drive meaningful change and optimise our fundraising and customer experience efforts. 

Key accountabilities:

• Campaign Analysis: Collaborate with the Head of Customer Experience (CX) to manage and interpret campaign analysis, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
• Data Visualisation: Create dashboards and visual tools for fundraisers to track and optimise campaigns
• Team Collaboration: Work with the CX team to report on testing strategies and segmentations
• Insight Dissemination: Ensure internal stakeholders understand and utilise insights.
• Market Research: Plan and implement market research to support fundraising and CX strategies

We are looking for an Assistant Head of Public Engagement (Brand and Marketing) to join our Public Engagement team. This team aims to grow income from the general public to support our vital homelessness services, with activity spanning all stage of the supporter journey through awareness, engagement, donating and loyalty.

St Mungo’s is a leading homelessness charity, and we want to grow public awareness of our work. The Assistant Head of Public Engagement (Brand and Marketing) will lead work to drive increased awareness of St Mungo’s, supporting growth in fundraising income from the general public.

This role will be vital in driving public awareness and engagement with St Mungo’s and our work, to end homelessness and rebuild lives. In this role you will:

• Develop and implement a strategy to drive brand growth, to support an annual income target of £8.5m in Public Engagement, and year on year income growth across fundraising teams.
• Lead the Brand and Marketing team to develop and deliver brand marketing campaigns, strategy and content for social media and owned channels, brand research and overall brand execution across Fundraising and Communications.

Location: Slimbridge/Hybrid
Salary: £34,405 per annum

About The Role

You will develop our data and analytical capabilities, to give us a more in-depth understanding of our visitors and supporters, enabling their supporter journey to maximise income and engagement.

As our Senior Data Executive you will work in partnership with colleagues across WWT to:

• Improve our data warehouse, helping us get the most out of our data
• Ensure we have the data and processes to optimise our visitor and supporter journeys.
• Evaluate the impact of campaigns in the short and long term
• Analyse patterns of giving from members, visitors and other donors
• Create and manage data metrics, dashboards and reporting mechanisms through Power BI

We are a small team so you’ll be able to get involved in a lot of different projects.

This is a fixed term, project funded position for 18 months. The role is based at WWT Slimbridge but is suitable for hybrid working, with a minimum of two days a month in the office.

About You

We are looking for an excellent numbers oriented communicator, comfortable working on data and analysis projects while also building relationships with colleagues.

You will be innovative and forward thinking with an eye for detail and appreciation of data quality.

You will have experience working with SQL databases and building dashboards.
