Forward Funding is a charity that is currently in the set-up phase - we are looking for 4 additional trustees to join the set-up team.
Forward Funding is a charity that will use funds to aid in funding private diagnosis and support through other charities and organisations to support people with developmental, physical and mental health conditions.
There is a focus for the charity specifically on working with people who are neurodivergent, but the charity will be formed to create a better road for anyone who is struggling to have treatment through the current state funded options.
We are looking for people who have a background in finance, funds, fundraising, mental health and developmental condition support, as well as business and marketing.
We will be looking for people who, over the next 12 months will aid the charity in its formation as well as initial fundraising efforts. We are currently not a registered charity but want to be once we have enough trustees to do so.
Currently, there is a sperate limited company that is set up by one of the people who will be a trustee to raise funds for Forward Funding and directly support people who are neurodivergent within the workplace. This means that the funds from this limited company can be raised without risking the charity itself. This operation is set up to run a retail operation on behalf of the charity (once formed), taking responsibility for all high-risk elements of this type of operation but working closely with the charity both in terms of raising income through the retail operation and ensuring neurodiversity in the workplace, opening opportunities for all.
If you are interested in knowing more, please send us a message.
If you would like to apply, please submit a CV and a personal statement to let us know how you think you would be part of our team as we take this leap in to a new charity to support neurodiversity in the workplace as well as private diagnosis and treatment when it out of reach through other means.
We are happy to accept a video application as well if this is better for you.

Do you have a vision for the future of animal welfare in Glasgow? Do you want to be a key member of an intersectional and inclusive movement to improve the lives of Scotland’s pets and people?
If so, we’re looking for you!
Glasgow Pet Collective
Glasgow Pet Collective is here for Glasgow’s pets and their people. We will advocate for, protect, and create Glasgow’s pet families, championing their wellbeing and maintaining the human-animal bond. More info on GPC programs can be viewed at the bottom of this document.
We are looking for 2 dedicated Trustees to support GPC’s mission and help support humans and pets in a holistic, inclusive, and compassionate way.
The Role
GPC’s trustees will play a vital role in making sure the organisation achieves its core purposes of promoting the welfare and rehoming of companion animals, advancing animal welfare equity, relieving hardships faced by pets and their owners, lobbying for improved animal welfare legislation, fostering knowledge sharing, and building a supportive community for pet guardians in the Greater Glasgow Area.
Trustees oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that GPC has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable GPC to grow and thrive, and through this, fulfil our objectives and realise the organisation’s mission.
Board members have a collective responsibility. This means that trustees always act as a group.

-
Actively promote and uphold principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation. This includes confronting and addressing personal biases related to class, race, disability, or any other identifying characteristics. Trustees should advocate for and implement intersectional approaches in all aspects of the organisation's work, ensuring that all community members feel respected and valued.
As a small charity, there will be times when the trustees will need to be actively involved beyond Board meetings. This may involve scrutinising board papers, leading discussions, focusing on key issues, providing advice and guidance on new initiatives, presenting externally, or other issues in which the trustee has special expertise.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking individuals who bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role and who will enhance the diversity of thought on our board. Experience in pet welfare and animal advocacy, veterinary sciences, community groups, finance, or fundraising is highly valued but not essential. About Us
With Jesus. With each other. To the edges.
We are passionate about God’s mission and eager to see more and more people become followers of Jesus. For 225 years CMS has been at the forefront of global mission, living out the gospel of Jesus, seeing lives changed and communities transformed across the globe. Often in ways we could not have anticipated.
Founded by William Wilberforce and other members of the Clapham Sect group of activists in 1799, today CMS supports hundreds of people and partners in mission working together across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. We also train UK Christians for creative, ground-breaking mission in Britain.
Context
With mission no longer being a “West to the rest” endeavour, and as Christianity has flourished in parts of the majority world, we have undertaken a prayerful review of our organisation, in order to discern our mission call for this generation.
We have rediscovered and been re-inspired by the pioneering spirit of our founders. We believe our calling for this time is to the “edges”: to the edges of society, the edges of church and to the edges of our comfort zones. To that end, we have been aligning our organisation and focus to play a catalytic role in facilitating movements of mission to and from these edges.
The Role
Taking a listening and reflective approach, as Chair you will draw out the diverse skills and wisdom among our trustees, ensure excellence in our governance, support the executive leadership in delivering our refreshed vision and play a role in strengthening our links with the Global Anglican Communion.
If you share our passion for following Jesus and making disciples at the edges, bring experience at board level, a highly relational approach and a global perspective, we would love to hear from you.

Make a difference – become an Academy Governor
You don’t have to be a parent or member of staff to be an academy governor – applications are appreciated from all with an interest in the local community. Academy governors come from all walks of life and specialist knowledge is not always needed. What IS essential is a desire to get involved in children’s education and make a difference to their lives.
We welcome applications from those with educational, health & safety and safeguarding experience, but academy governors are all volunteers and training and support is provided. The University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust partners new governors with a ‘buddy’ – a trusted and more experienced colleague on the governing body – who initially acts as their mentor.
