Job description

Are you a dynamic and strategic-minded professional with a passion for finance systems? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can lead transformational change? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As the Finance Systems Manager (ERP), you will be the finance lead, ensuring we make the best use of our investment in technology. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our major transformation programme to replace our finance systems with Microsoft D365 F&O. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing changes and optimising data capture and transaction processing across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a small finance systems team.
  • Championing finance systems and provide training to ensure best practices.
  • Supporting change projects and drive transformational improvements.
  • Managing finance systems upgrades and coordinate testing cycles.
  • Ensuring accurate capture of all financial transactions in finance systems.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with relevant teams.
  • Maintaining documentation and implementing security controls.

About you

We are seeking a proactive and strategic-minded individual with a strong understanding of finance operations and ERP systems.

As our ideal candidate you will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations, experience in developing and managing finance systems, and a proven track record in stakeholder management and team leadership.

You should possess excellent communication and analytical skills, a positive 'can do' attitude, and the ability to drive transformational change within the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A good understanding of finance operations and transaction processing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations preferred.
  • Experience in developing and managing finance systems.
  • Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills, with the ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, communication, and IT skills.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to the wider work of the BHF.

If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to our transformative journey, we would love to hear from you. Apply today and be a part of something truly impactful!

Working arrangements

This is an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
