About this key role
Our successful candidate will provide effective management to a team to ensure all bids/applications are submitted to commissioner requirements, are high quality and in line with St Giles Trust’s strategic objectives, as well as coaching the team to develop their bid writing and bid management skills. You will also oversee the project management of funding applications/bids, including bid writing, and to maintain a pipeline of opportunities to plan appropriately for upcoming work and assign team resource.

Sebby's Corner is based in Barnet, EN5 and our aim is to ensure that no child goes without the basic essentials they need to thrive. We supply items such as clothing, nappies, formula and baby equipment to local families living in poverty. Families in need get referred to us by social workers, health visitors, family support workers, midwives and other professionals from our 800-strong referral partner network.
We also offer school uniform support in the summer and a Birthday Club that ensures children have the chance to celebrate with gifts, balloons and a cake. At Christmas, we host a festive shop where families can choose presents for their children, giving children the chance to have a Christmas just like their peers.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities
Service Delivery
- Guiding families during their New Parent Baby Essentials Experience appointment, helping them choose the items they need for their baby. Ensure clients feel supported and empowered when choosing items.
- Coordinate logistics, appointments, stock, and setup for our two seasonal services within a set timeline and budget - Christmas Support and School Uniform Support.
- Manage booking system across our services
- Ensure families and referral partners have a welcoming and respectful experience at the hub.
- Support complex referrals and work alongside the Referrals Coordinator to meet urgent or sensitive needs.
- Supporting our Referrals Co-ordinator with the Essentials Support service during busy periods to ensure families and referral partners who are collecting receive a positive and dignified experience and receive the items they requested.
Impact & Evaluation
- Gather and respond to feedback from families and volunteers to improve future service delivery.
- Provide reporting and statistics for impact reporting.
Referral Partner Engagement
- Act as a main point of contact for referral partners and schools.
- Onboarding new referral partners by providing clear information about service criteria, availability, and referral processes.
- Deliver briefings, training sessions, and guidance materials to improve referral quality and understanding.
Signposting & Partnerships
- Help families access additional support by providing signposting to trusted local services.
- Maintain a regularly updated resource list on the website and collaborate with partners to expand support options.
- Promote and lead on our Service Delivery partnerships such as educational workshops with Parent Learning Platform and antenatal classes with All About Babies and encourage family engagement.
Safeguarding
- Serve as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns. Make onward safeguarding referrals via MASH where necessary.
- Ensure all staff and volunteers receive appropriate safeguarding training.
- Create a culture of safety and openness, where concerns are raised and addressed appropriately.

What we can offer
Salary and pension
The salary range for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.
Annual leave
You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles). We usually close between Christmas and New Year without this time coming off your annual leave allowance.

About the Role
As our Executive Assistant to the Global Director of Fundraising and the COO, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global leadership team. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we reopen services that unfortunately closed due to the pandemic. As a coordinator, you will focus and lead on developing and delivering our community service across the East Riding of Yorkshire through drop-ins offering:
- practical hearing aid support
- information on hearing loss and tinnitus
- hearing checks
You will be responsible for co-ordinating up to 15 drop-in services and be able to recruit, train and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers to deliver the service across East Riding of Yorkshire.
You will:
- Coordinate our volunteering team to deliver a high level of service at our RNID Near You drop-in sessions.
- Recruit volunteers across the East Riding of Yorkshire to strengthen existing sessions and open new sessions as required.
- Work with NHS audiology to induct and train our volunteers to high standards.
- Promote our sessions to ensure maximum engagement from local hearing-aid users.
- Ensure all paperwork is processed correctly and reports to stakeholders are timely completed.
You want to make a difference in people’s lives and love to interact with various audiences, including volunteers, health & care professionals, and service users. You have experience managing your own workload and are able to work flexibly when required. You can motivate volunteers to assist clients with hearing aids sensitively, to give clear guidance and take into account individual wishes and health needs.
You are ready to work for a home-working organisation and have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word. You will be able to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers and deliver an excellent service across East Riding of Yorkshire. About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive project manager with a passion for London’s built heritage. The Head of Projects will oversee the delivery of our restoration projects across the capital, ensuring they meet our high standards and achieve maximum public benefit.
The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of restoration projects, from initial research and site identification to overseeing conservation work and successful project completion. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
Their vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. To achieve their mission, they are looking for a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to lead the high value function, including income from major donors, corporate partners, and trusts and grants. The P&P team also encompasses volunteering and relationships held with the family of member charities.
There is currently an interim Head of P&P in place until August to ensure progress continues towards the income ambition, and to support the team.
The P&P function is on a journey, much work has been done to embed effective processes and a consistent approach to pipelining. There has been much improvement so far, but there remains a lot of scope for the incoming Head to shape the team, define areas of focus and ways of working.
The team have had significant success this year, especially in the corporate partnerships space, so there is energy and enthusiasm to harness. There are exciting opportunities for high value fundraising connected to the launch of new Centres of Excellence across the UK, and some key events in the calendar such as a major donor dinner in September.
This role would suit an experienced fundraiser across major donor or corporate income streams. You will have led a team before, and have experience of designing and delivering fundraising strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to come into a team that is on the right path, but needs a confident Head of to ensure the team works in the most effective way, and to provide support and guidance to the team.

How we work with Employers and Higher Education Institutions
At Unifrog, we partner with universities and employers to help them connect with our global network of highly engaged students, teachers and careers leaders.
Our partnerships allow universities and employers to co-create content which can be accessed on the Unifrog platform (including online subject taster courses and day-in-the-life videos), share upcoming events and opportunities with relevant Unifrog students and teachers, and take part in a series of events throughout the year aimed at providing students at Unifrog schools with all the information they need to make the best decisions for their futures, and create the strongest applications.
The Employer and HE teams exist to support each of Unifrog's university and employer partners to make the most of their partnership with Unifrog, and to secure new partnerships with universities and employers who could benefit from a relationship with Unifrog.
The role and responsibilities
As New Business Lead for Employer and HE Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving Unifrog’s growth in our employer and higher education markets. You’ll need to be target driven to help create a wider network of universities and employers to support Unifrog students from around the world to find their best next step.
You will be given support by both the HE and Employer teams but will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.
You will be able to develop your skills, strengths and interests. We always look to make space for our team to grow within the company, and we have a general policy of promoting within.
Your key responsibilities:

Design tailored campaigns involving emails, phone calls, webinars and social media, to target employers and higher education institutions in a smart and engaging way.

Communicate with interested employers and higher education institutions to explain the work we do at Unifrog and the partnerships we offer in a compelling manner to secure online demonstrations for our Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers.

Attend conferences (sometimes overseas) to promote the work we do at Unifrog and network with relevant stakeholders in the employer and higher education sectors.

Be the first port of call for partnership/collaboration enquiries from employers and higher education institutions.
