Educational inequalities are vast, and the widening disadvantage gap is diminishing social mobility progress. Working with partners, including Barclays LifeSkills, Dell Technologies, Network Rail and the NHS we deliver industry-focused, skills workshops to enhance opportunities for young people (aged 9-18+).
Each year we impact 60,000 young people thanks to industry partnerships and their volunteers’ engagement across lightbulb moments in schools, through to intensive connections with employers.
The Programme Coordinator role
Due to the exciting expansion of our programmes we are seeking a new team member on a fixed term basis o support our next year of growth and delivery.
In this role you will provide crucial customer service and administration to support the delivery of our inspiring employability and skills-focused workshops in schools.
What you will be doing
- Coordination of multiple projects and events
- Using systems and administrative processes to manage workshop delivery
- Enhance our feedback and customer service to all our stakeholders, including schools and volunteers

Hybrid working

As Supporter Care Manager you will play a key role in Viva’s Fundraising & Engagement team, building relationships with and providing exceptional supporter care to our donors – including individuals, churches and community groups. The Role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will take on a key role, creating the income we need to undertake our vital work supporting disabled people.
We are looking to further develop and diversify our income streams beyond Trusts and foundation and focus on increasing donations from individuals with an interest in our cause.
Growing our individual supporter base, you will recruit new supporters and build on the excellent foundations laid by our outgoing Community Fundraiser to raise our profile amongst our neighbours.
You will provide outstanding relationship management and donor care to supporters, ensuring they are recognised and thanked for their contribution. Additionally, you will develop and deliver fundraising operational plans, helping to create fundraising materials that encourage and support fundraising potential.
About You
To be considered as our Fundraising Manager, you will need:
- Experience increasing fundraising income from individuals and achieving income targets
- Experience of the effective stewardship of charity donors
- Project planning and management experience
- Experience managing and hitting budgets
- Knowledge of fundraising good practice
- An excellent understanding of donor stewardship and relationship management

Vocations and Placements (18-30) Development Officer
Location: Hybrid (Cliff College Derbyshire or London) or Home-Based
Hybrid Working: Connexional Team staff based at Methodist Church House or Cliff College have a hybrid work pattern which is currently 2-3 days in the office.
The Vacancy
The Methodist Church is at an exciting point in the development of its ministry with young adults (18-30). We are seeking to appoint someone with enthusiasm and passion for seeing young adults connect with God and explore their calling as a follower of Christ.
This role is integral to the delivery of the Young Adult Ministry Development Plan, and will focus on the following priorities:
- The management, development and advocacy of a new Young Adult Mission Placement Scheme, which aims to provide opportunities for young adults to be employed (or volunteer) in mission-focused placements in local churches and circuits where they can explore their vocation.
- Advocating for, supporting and enabling creative and relevant young adult ministry to be started and embedded in circuits and districts by journeying with local circuits/districts, providing advice and mentoring as appropriate to pilot creative projects for young adults to engage with and grow in discipleship and vocation.
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by the Methodist Church.
This post holds a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a member in good standing of a church in association with Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CBTI) or equivalent.
About You
Key requirements
- Degree/professional qualification in a relevant field, or substantial equivalent work experience
- Experience of working with youth/young adults and passionate about growing young adult ministries
- Highly organised and proven ability to successfully develop and manage complex projects.

About the Development Research and Data Officer role
Our Development Research and Data Officer helps to ensure long-term fundraising success for National Museums Scotland by maximising the use of the CRM database and developing the prospect pipeline for campaigns and revenue fundraising. As Communications and Projects Officer – Baby Bank Alliance (BBA), you will have a crucial role in overseeing social, digital, and internal communications for the Baby Bank Alliance and their 170+ member network, as well as supporting other key operational activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary, cross-organisational team while collaborating with local communities and grassroots organisations across the UK. The Communications and Projects Officer will work closely with the Baby Bank Alliance Executive Lead, Communications and Marketing Manager, Community Leads, and broader team to support the delivery of key projects for 2024/25. This role will be 60% communications and 40% projects and within that you will:
• Manage the BBA social media channels, creating social media strategies, developing and creating content and monitoring channels.
• To manage the BBA WordPress website with any updates or issues and write the weekly newsletter to the Baby Bank Alliance members & non-members.
• To support the Media Manager with campaigns: e.g. arranging shoots, attending shoots, gathering resources for press releases/media requests.
• To support members of the wider Baby Bank Alliance team with a range of project tasks, where needed.
• To project manage the organisation and co-ordination of events and visits to baby banks, and help to promote and deliver them alongside a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development of a new CRM database system, ensuring that data is migrated and captured efficiently to support the daily data management of the growing organization.
