As Operations Volunteering Experience Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that volunteers in operations-based roles feel valued, prepared, and supported throughout their journey. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll coordinate recruitment, training, and engagement efforts that enhance the volunteer experience and contribute to the smooth running of essential services.

You’ll oversee the flow of volunteers into operations-based roles, ensuring they are matched effectively to support Guide Dogs’ canine, children, and adult services. Working in collaboration with service and volunteering colleagues, you’ll support planning and resource allocation to ensure volunteer programmes align with national and local needs.

By ensuring volunteers receive comprehensive training and induction, you’ll help them build confidence in their roles. You’ll coordinate face-to-face and virtual induction sessions, facilitate ongoing training opportunities, and provide regular communication to ensure volunteers remain engaged and informed.

A key part of your role will involve monitoring and evaluating the volunteer journey, gathering feedback and insights to improve processes and experiences. You’ll manage volunteer data and compliance, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Additionally, you’ll support the recognition and celebration of volunteers, helping to coordinate award events and initiatives that highlight the incredible contributions of those who give their time.

To excel in this role, you’ll have experience managing and supporting volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and rewarding experience. You’ll be confident in advising on best practices and processes, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams.

Experience with volunteer management systems, CRM databases (such as Salesforce), and Microsoft Office will be beneficial. A strong understanding of GDPR, safeguarding principles, and best practices in equality, diversity, and inclusion is also essential.

Strong organisation and communication skills will be key, as well as the ability to problem-solve and handle enquiries efficiently. Whether facilitating training, providing advice, or coordinating new volunteer initiatives, you’ll bring a solutions-focused approach to ensure volunteers feel engaged, valued, and equipped for success.

About the role

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

We are lucky enough to have some of our most committed supporters in the area, but there is still so much opportunity to grow support across the counties. You will have an incredible opportunity to build relationships with not only those who have been supported by the charity, but our incredible services team members who support children and young people treated out of University College Hospital and Great Ormond Street hospital.

About Sebby’s Corner

Sebby's Corner is based in Barnet, EN5 and our aim is to ensure that no child goes without the basic essentials they need to thrive. We supply items such as clothing, nappies, formula and baby equipment to local families living in poverty. Families in need get referred to us by social workers, health visitors, family support workers, midwives and other professionals. We work with almost 800 different referral partners across 400 different organisations.

We also offer school uniform support and we have a Birthday Club that ensures that a child who would otherwise go without has a gift, cake, balloons and decorations to celebrate their special day. At Christmas, we host a Grotto where parents can come and choose a gift for their child at no cost. We have a new partnership with Citizen’s Advice Barnet that allows families to book an appointment with an advisor at our hub.

In addition to our baby bank services, we work to engage and inspire the community through fundraising, volunteering opportunities, and outreach programmes. At Sebby’s Corner, we believe that a connected community can make a lasting impact, and this role is pivotal to achieving that. Key Tasks and Accountabilities

Volunteer Management

• Oversee the day-to-day management of volunteers, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and their time is used productively.
• Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract new volunteers and new hub leaders including targeted campaigns and partnerships with local schools and community organisations.
• Create and maintain a volunteer database, tracking availability, skills, and engagement.
• Deliver volunteer induction sessions and ongoing training as needed.

Community Outreach

• Represent Sebby’s Corner by speaking at schools, community groups, and local businesses to promote our mission and encourage support.

• Act as a key contact for schools, organising donation drives and volunteer days.
• Recruit participants for fundraising activities such as marathons, walks, or bake sales.

Event Planning and Support

• Assist in planning and running Sebby’s Corner events, including seasonal fundraisers and awareness campaigns.
• Support the organisation and delivery of volunteer and community recognition events.

• Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, community partnerships, and event outcomes.
• Develop reports and insights on volunteer and outreach activity to inform future strategy.
• Support the team with general administrative tasks related to volunteers and community outreach.

What we can offer

Salary and pension

The salary for this role is £28,500 annum FTE (this will be pro-rated to reflect your working hours if you work less than 35 hours per week and is subject to normal deductions). If eligible to join the pension, we will match your contributions by 5%.

Annual leave

You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (these will be pro-rated to reflect your working hours if you work less than 35 hours per week). We usually give the team time off between Christmas and New Year that doesn’t come off your allowance.

Purpose of the Role

You will be reporting to and working closely with the Business Development Manager to grow and develop the number of White Ribbon Accredited organisations, and workplaces using our training programmes.  You will be responsible for delivering Accreditation, including Supporter organisations, and for coordinating and developing training, ensuring that all standards are met, and facilitating continuous improvement. You will work with other team members to recruit new Ambassadors and Champions and provide information and opportunities for existing Ambassadors and Champions. You will engage and motivate Accredited organisations and Supporter organisations to participate in White Ribbon Day.

Accreditation

• Working with colleagues to market and network proactively to develop the Accreditation programme and increase the number of Accredited and Supporter organisations, including attending meetings, events online and in person
• Working directly with organisations to provide advice and support to individual organisations in completing the Accreditation process and developing and delivering their action plans, including attending steering group meetings when necessary
• Assess action plans and provide recommendations for approval of completed action plans. Look at ways to develop and continuously improve the action plan templates, including developing guidance for organisations
• Coordinate and deliver projects and events to allow sharing of best practice and cross-sector/sector specific engagement to address specific issues
• Disseminate best practice to all Accredited organisations and Supporter organisations
• Be responsible for maintaining resource hubs and develop new materials for the hubs, working with other teams

Training

This pivotal role involves working with the Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver fundraising initiatives, enhance membership engagement and donor relationships to support and expand the impact of our animal welfare initiatives during an exciting period of growth and change for both charities. 

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a small multi-disciplinary team but also be confident to take the lead and work unsupervised when necessary.

This position can be office-based, or home-based. However, the postholder will be expected to attend our offices in Hertfordshire to carry out duties as required, and attend some meetings.  Travel costs and subsidence will be covered for the employee in these situations. The job may also require occasional travel within the UK and possibly overseas for conferences/meetings and other relevant events - some of which may occur at weekends or in the evening. About the Role

The West London Service Delivery Executive will play a key part in the Service Delivery Team across London supporting with the smooth running of our service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, volunteers and visitors. Our team is friendly and professional, and we work closely together to make sure every client has an outstanding experience when they visit us.

The Service Delivery Executive will often be the first point of contact a client will have with Smart Works, providing administrative, phone and booking support for clients across London and beyond. About the Role

This is a new and critical function within our senior management team at North London Open Spaces. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who will drive fundraising, income generation, strategic partnerships, marketing, and community engagement across our portfolio of green spaces.

At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.

This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. Tasks will include writing minutes, helping produce briefing papers, and booking events and meeting rooms.

You will also be the first point of call for our campaign supporters, and will be aiding our supporters to take campaign actions through the drafting and creation of e-actions using Engaging Networks.

Role description: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our Fundraising Team as the Community Fundraiser. You will lead, plan, cost and deliver an exciting and varied community fundraising programme to grow income and a strong return on investment. You will need to work closely with the Director of Fundraising to shape the plans and resources required for the future.

The post holder will require a good knowledge of fundraising and considerable energy and enthusiasm that will inspire patients, visitors, hospital staff and the local community to choose Southampton Hospitals Charity as their preferred charity. 

Main Responsibilities: 

• To develop, support the delivery of and evaluate a strategic supporter journey and stewardship journey across the community fundraising programme focused on generating net return and supporter retention.  

• To create and increase awareness of fundraising for Southampton Hospitals Charity across all University Hospital Southampton sites working closely with the Marketing and Communications team

• To foster effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, doctors, nurses, care group managers etc 

• To ensure visibility of fundraising materials including poster sites and leaflet holders in the hospitals, community etc and ensure they are kept up to date and relevant

• To be proactive in seeking out new fundraising opportunities, relationships, and networks. 

• To lead on researching and developing Trust and charity networks to acquire new supporters in the communities served by the UHS Trust based on audience insight and analysis

• To build and maintain relationships with supporters through face to face, telephone, email, and written correspondence with the aim of securing financial and “in kind” support.

Person Specification: 

Knowledge and experience
