We're looking for a keen and motivated Training Administrator to join our small, friendly team at our head office in Rugby. You'll be working closely with our Training Manager and ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) Training Project Manager, facilitating the smooth delivery of workshops, events and meetings, advertising and promoting training workshops and preparing training delivery and feedback reports. The Survivors Trust provides a range of workshops and training opportunities for professionals working with victims and survivors of sexual violence and sexual abuse.
You will provide high level administrative support for the Training Manager and ISVA Training Project Manager, overseeing training bookings and maintaining a database of trainees on our CRM (Beacon). You will be responsible for collecting and collating feedback from training attendees and preparing reports to support training delivery. Working in collaboration with the Training Team you will support the advertising and marketing of training opportunities including updating relevant website content.
You will also maintain accurate records of training and project delivery, including budgets and impact measures data for both internal and external stakeholders. Part of your role will include gathering statistics for monitoring and reporting processes.
You will ideally have previous experience of administration in a training setting and/or working in the voluntary sector but please don't be put off applying if you don't meet all requirements. Job Purpose:
We are looking for a passionate, ambitious Assistant Charity Shop Manager to join our successful team to help manage our charity shop in Old Swan.
The Assistant Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team.
Main Duties/Tasks:
You will be pivotal in assisting the Shop Manager in leading and empowering a team of volunteers to engage with the local community, maximising the contribution of gifts of time from volunteers, the gifts of products from our donors and the gift of income from our customers. You will be an ambassador of Alder Hey Children’s Charity on the high street.
Income generation
• Work with the Shop Manager to maximise sales and profits ensuring weekly targets are met.
• Support the team to maximise income from Gift Aid on donated products.
• Work with the wider Charity team to promote and support fundraising activities and events.
Volunteers
• Support and management of a team of volunteers.
• Utilise volunteer skill sets and motivate them to deliver great customer service and perform tasks in-line with charity standards.
• Maximise the shop’s opening hours and ensure the shop is open and managed by the shop team in the absence of the Shop Manager.
• Help to provide and support ongoing training and development for volunteers.

• Ensure the shop adheres to Retail Health and Safety regulations.

We are confident that by embracing a more flexible and balanced approach to work, we can continue to create a thriving and fulfilling work environment while driving growth and success for our charity. A decision will be made before the 30th September 2024 to agree the next steps, based on an assessment of the trial period; the four day working week trial may be ended, extended or adopted permanently.

As Scientific and Patient Information Manager, you will work in the Medical Education and Scientific Engagement team at Myeloma Patients Europe. Under the Department Head and MPE Leadership Team, you will oversee the following projects and activities:
European Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis Clinical Trial Navigator Management (Approximately 50%)
MPE has developed an online clinical trial search tool of European myeloma and AL amyloidosis clinical trials for patients and advocates (https:// navigator.mpeurope. org/en). This role will be responsible for the management, improvement, and promotion of this core MPE programme, including:
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate database of all industry and academic recruiting myeloma, AL amyloidosis, MGUS, and smouldering myeloma clinical trials in Europe
- Liaise with industry and academic clinical trial sponsors, clinical trial sites, and other stakeholders to maintain database up-to-date
- Liaise with web developers to manage the Navigator website, make enhancements, and fix technical issues
- Oversee implementation of translated materials in multiple languages
- Elicit feedback from patients, family members, clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure continued improvement and enhancements
- Manage website news and content
Patient Education Management (Approximately 40%)
A key role of MPE is providing up-to-date, comprehensive, and patient friendly educational materials and tools for our members and the patient community, as well as communicating about advances in myeloma and AL amyloidosis. This role will be responsible for working across MPE to develop an educational plan and develop and deliver resources including:
- Perform efficient scientific watch (monitoring advancements in research and clinical development)
- In coordination with the Head of Medical Education and Scientific Engagement, as well as other department Heads (Patient Research, Access and Policy, Communication, Capacity Building and Advocacy), develop and prioritise a patient educational plan based on member and patient needs, scientific advances and cross-department projects
- Research, write, and develop patient education materials including factsheets, Q&As, webinars, infographics, news stories and social media content related to clinical and scientific updates
- Attending (in person or virtually) scientific congresses and developing conference and scientific meeting summaries, organising post-conference webinars for patients in collaboration with the Communication department
- Manage the execution of educational materials from conception to publication in coordination with Department Head, other MPE departments, and external stakeholders (key opinion leaders, proofreaders etc.)
Patient and member support (Approximately 5%)

ABOUT ALL SAINTS: There has never been a more exciting time to join the team at All Saints. As part of a new project to revitalise the church for the Island, we are planting the first-ever contemporary service into the Church as part of the HTB network of churches (including Harbour Church Portsmouth). We are currently building an amazing team to bring the vision to life. So, this is a rare opportunity to join a new foundational team and community and to be part of the team that sets the vision, values, and culture for the next phase of ministry at All Saints as we explore what it looks like to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the Church, and the transformation of society.
ABOUT RYDE: Ryde is just a 10-minute journey on the hovercraft from Portsmouth Harbour. Ryde is known as ‘the gateway to the Island with several main travel points located within it. It also has a long stretch of sandy beach and lots of independent shops and cafes. The largest town on the Isle of Wight with a population of 37k. The Church is a landmark on the island with the spire visible from many places around the Isle of Wight and from the mainland projecting beyond the town skyline. The socioeconomic makeup of the town is very mixed and it is a great vibrant place to live and work.
ROLE PURPOSE
This is an amazing opportunity for someone who thrives on operational excellence and loves managing a project to completion to have a hugely impactful and pivotal role in a church entering a new phase of its life. You will be a key part of the leadership team and oversee the operational management of All Saint’s Ryde and assist other Ryde churches in the plurality group; ensuring structures and systems are in place to enable ministry and best use resources within our church, to advance the vision of the church. The Operations Lead will work with the Rector and Team Vicars to achieve the strategic objectives of All Saints in overseeing the operational, organisational, and financial aspects of the church.
KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES
Oversee Operational Excellence - Oversee the important day-to-day operations of the church and its buildings and hold oversight responsibility for: Project roll-out; Health and Safety; Food Hygiene, Fire Assessment; Risk Management; Infrastructure; GDPR and Accessibility issues.
- Develop and lead the ongoing strategic plan for the church’s activity in consultation with the wider team.
- Collect and collate data and process information to provide reports as required about church activity.
- Lead the process of planning, designing, developing and implementing church operating and governance procedures, processes and systems.
- Work as part of the leadership team to develop the church’s calendar of events and activities.
- Collect data regarding progress concerning the church’s key objectives and report regularly to relevant stakeholders.
Lead on rhythms to ensure great delivery and communication.
- Oversee the smooth operational running, development and communications of Sunday services & events.

- Help to recruit, lead, onboard and equip a team of staff and volunteers to support the various functions of the church.
- Work with the team to develop and implement a relevant training strategy for staff and volunteers.
- Work with the leadership team to oversee the implementation of the performance management process to measure and evaluate progress against the strategic goals of the church.
- Responsible for ensuring all church policies, and staff handbooks are up to date and compliant with safeguarding, charity and employment law.
- Support the governance structures of the church and the churches working in plurality.
- Day-to-day oversight of the finances in conjunction with Church Wardens and Rector.
- Oversee the monthly payroll.
- Management of bank accounts, utilities, insurance, and various contracts as needed.
- Manage the church budgets in conjunction with Churchwardens, Rector and Team Vicars.
- Work with Rector, and churchwardens to ensure monthly and annual accounts and budgets are prepared for submission to the Charities Commission on time.
Ensure our facilities are the best they can be.
- Work with the church warden who oversees facilities to manage the premises and facilities ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard and used in line with the vision.
- Oversee facilities, insurance, health and safety and risk management.
- Project manage key organisational development projects within the church and where necessary liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
- Create systems that enable ministry and mission.
Be the Team – as All Saints has never had a contemporary worship service before, this is really a church-planting opportunity. We’re therefore looking to build a team of people who are energised by helping one another and who want to serve the wider vision of the church rather than work in team- specific silos. While most of your work will be focused on operational excellence, we’re aiming to be a close-knit team who all help each other and where no one is left with too much on their plate or a task they can’t manage. This means we’ll all help you with as needed, but in turn, we expect that you’ll help when needed with other projects as well. We think church is just more fun this way, anyway!
- Work with the Rector and Team Vicar to oversee and implement the church’s IT systems and infrastructure.
- Work with the Team Vicar to oversee and implement the church’s use and development of the ChurchSuite database - workflows, tags, GDPR compliance, data cleansing etc.
- Ensure that equipment and systems are fit for purpose and that security protocols and protection are up to date and compliant.

Reporting to the Head of Growth & Branding, the Research & Development Manager will be responsible for leading Research and Development function at Enable.

Job purpose
This is a pivotal role created to support an ambitious £80m fundraising appeal that will culminate in the creation of the new Royal Free London Cancer Centre.
The RFL, is one of the busiest cancer services in London, combining local care for a population of 2.5m with specialist services relied on by patients from all over the UK and beyond. By 2030, the number of people diagnosed with cancer in north central London is forecast to increase by 42% to 66,000 as the population ages.
The RFL urgently needs to increase its diagnostic, treatment, research and development capacity to meet the needs of our patients. In response, the Royal Free Charity is preparing a major fundraising appeal to support:
- the capital costs for the construction and equipping of a dedicated centre
- the delivery of cancer-related support services.
The campaign communications manager will support the activities of our fundraising directorate in the private phase (Autumn 2024 onwards) and the launch of the public phase of our appeal in early 2026.
The postholder will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to engage philanthropists, existing supporters, grateful patients, stakeholders and the public. It promises to be a varied and rewarding role in a small but highly collaborative and friendly team.

Every year over two million people visit The Migraine Trust website for the most up to date information, and thousands contact the helplines for information and support on all aspects of migraine. The Migraine Trust campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, better access to treatment, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it.
The Information Manager will coordinate and develop a range of health information needed by the migraine community and people living with migraine to raise awareness to both members of the public and health care professionals. The role is also responsible for ensuring the information on the website is up to date and coordinating and managing Patient Information Forum renewals.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and maintain quality health information: You will manage and update health information, scope, plan, and create new content in consultation with stakeholders, and identify target groups to produce materials to meet their needs. You will work within the Information and Support team constantly communicating with colleagues working on front line services to ensure the information being produced is in line with service users needs. You will also be responsible for managing the organisations PIF processes and assessments.
- Engage with the migraine community: You will hold focus groups to understand information needs, build strategic partnerships to disseminate information effectively, and support staff learning and knowledge-building about migraine.
- Support communication and dissemination: You will work with the Communications team to create accessible information formats, provide content for videos, blogs, and other communication channels and regularly monitor and report on the impact of information provision.
- Research: You will act as the key point of communication for the research committee, manage administrative duties for research funding applications and grants, and coordinate research meetings and liaise with funded researchers for project updates.
- Represent and support the charity: You will represent The Migraine Trust at external events and build relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
The Information Manager will have solid experience of communicating complex health information to audiences in written and online formats, as well as proven experience of producing information from the research stage through to writing, external review and liaising with designers. The successful candidate will have the ability to gain an in-depth understanding of medical and health related information, including research and critical analysis skills to develop an evidence base. You will have experience working within a health communication environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail with demonstrable editing and proofreading skills. - Location: This role can be based at the MAF UK Offices in Folkstone, Kent or optionally could be in the Oxford, Cambridge arc as we seek to launch a new hub in the Milton Keynes area, maximising our engagement with a thriving local aerospace and charity sector region. Up to two days a week in our Folkstone Office might be initially required.We welcome hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.
- Working Hours: This is a full time role (at least 36 hours per week, with 1 hour for lunch daily unpaid) but requiring some flexibility on the successful candidate to work additional hours occasionally some of which could be outside the normal business hours. Hours should be agreed with line manager.
- Travel: Flexibility will be required for working additional hours and travel to meet business needs (inlcuding overseas travel) or for travel/meetings on weekends or evenings.
- Annual Leave: Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year and 8 paid public holidays per year.
- Pension Scheme: Non-contributory (10% of salary).
- Probation: 6 months
- Notice Period: 3 months each.
- Salary: circa £65,000 per annum
