What the job involves
As our Website Operations Producer, you’ll play a key role in the Customer Engagement and Experience Team, driving impactful digital projects that inspire positive change for men.
In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end project journey—from initial briefs to launch and seamless handover for ongoing management. You’ll spearhead the development of various digital products, including website feature enhancements, infrastructure improvements, and new platform upgrades. You’ll shape strategic project roadmaps, making recommendations on project sequencing and prioritising resources for maximum impact.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to define the scope and requirements of each project, balancing user needs with our broader goals to deliver an outstanding digital experience. Acting as the primary liaison for external agencies, you’ll ensure they deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. From testing new features to conducting user acceptance testing, you’ll ensure every project meets user needs and is ready for a seamless deployment.
What we want from you
We’re seeking someone with excellent experience in managing web development projects using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, and a solid grasp of the software development lifecycle. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, a high level of organisation, and meticulous attention to detail, along with a natural ability to build strong working relationships.
You’ll have the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences, while expertly managing multiple stakeholders and agency partnerships. Proficiency with project tools like Trello, Slack, and Google Docs is essential, along with experience in out-of-the-box CMS platforms like Umbraco and a readiness to learn bespoke systems. You’ll also have a solid background in website analytics.

About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Experience Manager with a background in managing and developing websites and digital products, as well as previous experience of line management, to join our friendly and expert Digital Team.
As the Digital Experience Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality, accessible and customer-focused online brand presence by optimising content, journeys and audience experience on our website and other digital platforms. By collaborating with specialists internally and externally across UX, UI, development, SEO, content strategy and content management, you will ensure that the overall digital experience meets brand goals and audience needs by being holistic and engaging and inspiring action.
You will line manage the Developer and Digital Product Officer, providing engaging and motivating leadership, management and personal development support.
You will champion the voices of children and young people with cancer, and their families in everything you do.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Lead on the digital experience strategy for the organisation. Using insight to design, implement, test, measure and optimise as needed.
- Product Ownership of the website experience and content strategy for the site, liaising with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Provide expertise around digital journeys, to continually optimise and improve these, across service delivery and fundraising activities.
- Own the overall roadmap for development on the website and work across teams to support the integration and adoption of third-party digital platforms. Prioritise functionality improvement across the team.

Purpose of the post:
We are looking for a Community Development Worker with experience supporting with people with their mental health, with significant experience in statutory and/or voluntary sector services, knowledge of the City of London, Hackney and Waltham Forest (or a specific local area or demographic), and strong interpersonal skills.
You will work closely with individuals from Black, African and Caribbean Communities, with serious mental illness (SMI) developing an understanding of complexity in order to provide the most appropriate support.
Working alongside the Director and Clinical Operations Manager you will, be responsible for linking in with Secondary Services in organising and delivering tasks which facilitate an informed and safer hospital discharge and smooth transition into the Community to avoid re-admission.
As a Community Development Worker, you will become a local expert, gathering and sharing information about local opportunities, activities, and support, bringing people together and supporting them to remain confident and independent in their everyday lives.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for linking with Groups and Services to understand the mental health needs across the Community.
2. To work closely with the Hospital Discharge Teams as part of the Discharge process
3. Collectively develop a robust Hospital Discharge plan that will help embed the Clients into the Community.
4. Explore with Secondary Services and other relevant agencies the current provision and identify the gaps and assist IRIE Mind and its partners to develop programmes to meet the identified need.

6. To provide information on where to go for additional support upon Discharge
7. Collaboratively develop material with colleagues to distribute to in patients and Clients, families and friends.

We’re looking for someone who has strong analytical abilities to evaluate service delivery and impact, along with a proven track record in securing and managing funding. You will also need to have excellent team management skills, inspiring and supporting our staff and volunteers to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the charity’s day-to-day operations, ensuring our services have a meaningful impact on local families
• Work closely with our Board of Trustees to implement the charity’s strategic goals
• Analyse service delivery, identify opportunities for improvement, and track impact to ensure we’re meeting the needs of families
• Inspire, support, and manage a talented team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and effective working environment
• Ensure the charity’s financial sustainability by managing resources effectively and generating sustainable income
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, funders, and the local community to ensure long-term support
• Lead fundraising efforts, including securing new funding streams, and ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize impact
About You
We’re looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about making a positive difference in the community. You will have:
• Senior leadership experience, ideally in the charity, social care, or voluntary sector
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and improve service delivery
• Extensive experience in fundraising, with a proven track record in securing and managing funding
• Excellent team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead staff and volunteers
• The ability to work collaboratively with a Board of Trustees to deliver on strategy
• Strong operational and financial management experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage stakeholders
• A deep commitment to supporting families and communities, with a shared passion for our mission
