We are looking for a Head of Fundraising to join our team.
The Head of Fundraising will lead our income generation strategy to ensure The Girls’ Network can continue empowering young women from the least advantaged backgrounds. This role will drive the development and stewardship of high-value partnerships, oversee strategic growth in fundraising, and contribute to the charity’s long-term sustainability.
Key roles and responsibilities
Fundraising
· Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to define and meet annual income targets from corporate partners, Trusts & Foundations, individuals and third party events, identifying opportunities for growth
· Identify, steward and secure high value relationships with corporate partners, Trusts & Foundations and major donors to achieve and exceed own targets, working with the support of the CEO, as required
· Develop compelling propositions to secure funding and wider support from corporate partners, working with the Head of Programmes and Ambassador Community Lead to ensure operational alignment
· Develop and submit funding bids for high value Trusts & Foundations in support of operational plans and agreed budgets
· Identify and steward major donors to meet future targets, working with the support of the CEO, as required
· Develop new activities to increase income from individuals e.g. proprietary campaigns, regular donors, digital fundraising and events, working with external suppliers within available budget
· Ensure regular review and update of case for support to align with external and internal developments.
· Ensure compliance with organisational policies and fundraising regulations working with Head of Finance & Operations, CEO, Trustees and external support, as required.
Leadership
· Provide strategic leadership and direction to Fundraising, ensuring the strategy aligns with our wider goals, delivering high-impact fundraising campaigns and driving long term sustainability.
· Take an active role in the Senior Leadership Team (with CEO, Head of Programmes, Head of Finance & Operations) to ensure efficient management of the charity, developing annual operational plans and budgets, monitoring performance and risk against quarterly targets and attending quarterly Board meetings.
· Work closely with the Head of Programmes to identify and assess new partnership opportunities to develop the strategy and success of the charity.
· Work closely with Head of Finance & Operations on data migration to enable effective fundraising and ensure a high quality supporter experience.
· Develop understanding of policy and issues affecting our mentees and the impact and implications for The Girls’ Network programmes and funders.
· Build productive internal and external relationships, role-modelling our values.
· Act as Ambassador for TGN.
Reporting
· Report quarterly to the CEO and Board of Trustees on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) including progress against income targets and value of pipeline, working with the Head of Finance and Operations to align management information
· Ensure restricted grant funding information is shared with the Head of Finance and Operations to enable tracking and with the Monitoring, Evaluation Research and Learning Manager to enable programme data reporting
Staff Management
· Ensure the Fundraising team are well supported to perform their roles, meeting virtually and in person on regular basis, conducting one-to-ones, annual appraisals and personal development plans to support learning.
· Lead and support the Fundraising Manager and Partnerships Manager to achieve their targets from corporate partners and Trusts & Foundations, tracking performance through quarterly reports, including pipeline values
· Work closely with Communications Manager to ensure fundraising opportunities and campaigns are coordinated in a timely fashion to the correct audiences.
· Handle administrative duties such as recruitment, training, performance management seeking support from HR as required
· Ensure direct reports are engaged and motivated and working to a high standard
· Provide appropriate information and guidance to direct reports on a timely basis
Other duties

Essential
Fundraising expertise
· Significant experience (5+ years) gained in senior fundraising and within the not for profit sector
· Significant experience in developing effective fundraising and communications strategies to meet organisational goals, leading teams to achieve success
· Proven experience overseeing a Trusts & Foundations programme, including pipeline and prospect management to meet multi-year targets
· Excellent written skills with the ability to produce a concise, compelling and creative case for support
· Financial analysis skills to track and report on quarterly income performance
Relationship Management
· Demonstrable experience of developing compelling funding propositions to secure high value partnerships with corporates and Trusts & Foundations

Brief about the role

The Senior Manager – Media, Marketing and Communications will be overall responsible for the various functions/ scope of the Media, Marketing and Communications Department, including administrative matters, human resources aspects, budget preparation, monitoring & reporting, along with providing strategic leadership to the team, setting objectives for the team members, monthly 1-2-1 performance reviews, develop teams, develop fundraising campaigns/ coordinate fundraising activities/ appeals, prepare work plans against organisational strategic objectives and prepare quarterly reports for the Trustees.

- To support the Executive Director to strategise and lead on related organisational development activities and projects, for the whole UKIM.
- Admin Aspects: To be responsible for admin aspects in relation to the departmental work.

- Marketing: Marketing all departments of UKIM to different audiences to raise the profile of the Charity in support of its strategic aims.

THE ROLE
At a time of unprecedented demand for our services at NEA we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Training and Assessment Officer to work on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week, the contract is a 2-year fixed term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
As part of NEA’s Development and Partnerships Directorate, you will report to NEA’s Training Programme Delivery Manager.
Acting as course tutor and examiner, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering NEA’s training courses and qualifications to a wide range of organisations, including local authorities, housing associations, voluntary and community groups, and commercial organisations across England and the wider UK. Our courses cover key issues associated with fuel poverty, fuel debt, affordable warmth, low carbon technologies and practical energy efficiency advice.
Our Training and Assessment Officers assist in the development of future assessment-based qualifications and have the ability to recognise new areas of opportunity; designing, developing and producing engaging and innovative training presentations and material as appropriate, for face-to-face and online delivery of current and future training and assessment products.
This role requires a relevant training or education qualification and recent demonstrable experience of delivering adult training. Ideally, you will also have experience or knowledge of fuel poverty, community development, debt or money advice, consumer issues and/or housing.
The post requires an element of flexibility as Training and Assessment Officers will on occasion be required to work outside of normal office hours and away from home; driving will sometimes be required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience of adult training delivery, course design and development, and hold a relevant training or education qualification.

WE ARE OFFERING
- £31,068 – £35,836 per annum (Points 18-25) plus London weighting of £3,300 if applicable. New appointments are usually made at the starting point of the scale.

We offer a four-month/16-week fully paid traineeship (approx £1,733pm gross) working with real clients in a fundraising consultancy and gaining a recognised certificate with education credits towards CFRE to give you a real headstart in working in the charity sector. About the role:
This role is based at either our Preston or Accrington Office. After six months probation you will be eligible to apply for hybrid working. All travel costs to and from appointments from your office base will be reimbursed.
As a Triage & early Intervention worker you will be:
- Making initial contact assessing and providing information to victims/survivors.

- Understand Safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Understand the needs of victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
- Understand the effects of trauma and the importance of trauma informed practice.
- Have a good understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
- Have strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

What will I be doing?
Face-to-face delivery of the latest cancer prevention and early detection information in an appropriate and relevant way

Providing cover on the Cancer Awareness Roadshow, working alongside a small team to engage the public in indoor and outdoor community settings through individual face-to-face conversations

Responsible for collecting and inputting data for evaluation purposes and contributing to other general feedback

What skills are you looking for?
Registered Adult Nurse - NMC registration is mandatory for this role and must always be maintained
An interest in or experience of at least one of the following: health promotion, practice nursing, occupational health, health visiting, district/community nursing or other relevant qualification/experience
Excellent verbal communication skills - an ability to engage people in conversation and to use motivational interviewing techniques while ensuring accuracy of information conveyed
Strong oral presentation skills, with the ability to convey clear and accurate information confidently and pitched appropriately for the audience
A clear, demonstrable understanding of boundaries and of the importance and need for always adhering to data protection and other compliance policies
Experience in delivering public-facing work, and a good understanding of the challenges associated with engaging underserved groups and addressing health inequalities

This opportunity is for a permanent contract, starting immediately. You will work 35 hours a week, and we encourage flexible working. However, the team does generally operate during core office hours (between 9am to 5pm) and there are regular team meetings on Thursdays.

About the role
Coram is looking for an experienced Digital Content Manager (maternity cover) to support the marcomms team on websites, analytics, internal comms and other related digital marketing tasks. This is a fast-paced and varied role that involves working on a number of different websites across the Coram Group of charities and providing advice and support to other colleagues.
The role will involve anything from day to day management of existing websites to project managing larger scale rebrands, website moves and new website projects from start to finish. It will also include analysis of web traffic via Google Analytics, managing Coram’s internal comms channels and overseeing the relationship with Coram’s digital agency for Google/Microsoft Ads.
We’re looking for someone who feels confident at working independently and managing tasks and projects, whilst also being able to work together with the central marcomms team and other teams across Coram.
