The Executive Director will work closely with our Board of Directors, Council, staff team, and our member organisations around the world to lead the organisation, support our network, and help deliver our shared strategy for inclusion.

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of Inclusion International. This includes overseeing our programmes and operations, building strong relationships with our members and partners, and supporting our global advocacy and fundraising work.

Salary is £95,000 per year, depending on experience.

The role of the Young Carers Programme Manager is to lead on the delivery of our employability and aspirations programming for young adult carers, to support positive transitions from education into employment. The role works in partnership with our network of local carer organisation, employers and wider sector stakeholders, to deliver an engaging and diverse programme of opportunities for young adult careers to meet with employers, experience work environments, and broaden opportunities to access careers of choice.

Overview  

At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.   

Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.  

The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers. 

You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group. 

As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.  

You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners. 

The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

What You’ll Do

• Trusts & grants: Work with the Development & Communications Manager to write and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

About the role

As a Foundation we are committed to learning together with others and reflecting and acting on what we learn. Role Purpose

The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. This role oversees the day-to-day operational leadership of the charity, ensuring that its systems, processes, and teams are aligned with strategic objectives and compliant with relevant legislation.

We are looking for an experienced Database professional to join us as our new Database Marketing Officer. You will work collaboratively across the whole fundraising team, implementing strategies for targeted marketing campaigns. The role will be responsible for the extraction of data from the Hospice CRM system as well as providing insight & evaluation of marketing campaigns. 

This will be a crucial role in the team, working collaboratively and delivering work that helps drive forward our fundraising activity and ensuring that we are making data led decisions in everything we do. This will involve the implementation of KPI’s, analysis of previous activity as well as discovering opportunities to expand our audience from our CRM system. 

The role will require someone who is able to work with multiple stakeholders. Building effective relationships across all areas of the Hospice and communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.

We do this by providing impartial, evidence-based information and advice and practical resources; raising awareness of alcohol harms; and working in partnership with others to deliver behaviour change through our tools and interventions. Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working collaboratively with the Partnerships Project Manager, the Programme Delivery Officer will play a crucial role in the day-to-day programme management of the organisation’s programmes and partnership delivery.

This role will also involve strong elements towards cultivating relationships with key external partners, including businesses, non-profits and other stakeholders, to enhance organisational initiatives, drive growth, and ensure long-term collaboration. Providing rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive support to the Partnerships Project Manager

· Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential new partners to maximise engagement and collaboration.

· Act as a point of contact for partners and project/programme stakeholders.

· Assisting with programme and project initiation, such as design and planning.

· Assisting with programme and project delivery, such as: updating progress, resolving problems, ordering content and collateral, and supporting with other delivery tasks.

· Data analysis and programme reporting, preparing partner reports and tracking performance.

· Organise and deliver outreach and engagement activity (such as running stalls at events) to partners, community groups and local charities.

· Travel to engagement events across the UK

· Represent and advocate for Drinkaware at partnership or public meetings and events.

· Coordinate with various departments (marketing, communications, partnerships, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation of partnership initiatives.

We're looking for a talented and versatile communications officer to help grow our communications and supporter base and increase our impact for the children with complex disabilities and their families who we support.

This is an exciting time for our charity as we are developing ambitious growth plans and we want to increase our social media and digital presence to engage with a wider audience.

You will be expected to lead on our social media strategy, planning, producing and delivering content for all our audiences, and engaging with social media connections to grow our community. You will also be responsible for increasing engagement via our website, e-news and direct digital and offline communications. 

We're looking for a natural storyteller with attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to turn their hand to a wide range of tasks, striving for excellence while building relationships and working collaboratively with staff from across our small charity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create a social media strategy that builds our community and engagement across our current active platforms of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and considers the use of other platforms
• Develop and maintain our website to provide and easy and rewarding experience that seamlessly transitions users to the next stage of their journey
• Develop and manage our communications calendar to ensure coordinated planning and communications activity
• Build and manage our range of audience groups, including monthly e-news, email marketing, hardcopy reports and newsletters, and assist with donor stewardship communication
• Support our engagement with external media organisations, using all opportunities to gain positive media coverage
• Support the development of data and reporting processes to help build an insight-led understanding of our audience groups and to inform our marketing and engagement plans
