Responsibilities of our Community Fundraising Volunteer Team Leader:

• To recruit, develop, retain and support a diverse team of volunteers to enhance community fundraising activities and income generating opportunities.
• To lead on the promotion and coordination of volunteer activities within a community fundraising hub working collaboratively with the Community Fundraising Officers to drive income generation within the local vicinity.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Portfolio and Planning team as a Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for managing projects from initiation to competition, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required acceptance and quality criteria. This role involves planning, executing and overseeing one or more projects while effectively communicating and managing stakeholder expectations. 

This role will sit within the Portfolio and Planning Team and therefore there will be some PMO and Planning activities to be undertaken on an ad hoc basis. 

Key responsibilities: 

• You are responsible for scoping and completing all associated project documentation (i.e. Business Cases, Scoping Definition Documents, Project Initiation Documents, RAID Logs, Benefit Profiles etc.) 

• You will develop detailed project plans for the full project lifecycle. 

• You will maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders and develop robust stakeholder management plans. 

• You will identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and develop mitigations which will be captured within the RAID log that will be regularly reviewed and updated. 

• You will ensure all project deliverables follow the Quality Assurance Process. 

• You will manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs by completing change management requests and following change management protocols. 

• You are responsible for all project closure activities and will conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned. 

• You ensure accuracy of administration with clear audit processing 

• You will maintain records of responses and actions taken against recommendations from meetings 

 The successful candidate will have: 

• Significant experience of successful project and change management. 

• Proven project management experience, in particular projects with an element of complex procurement activities. 

• Experience of planning and organising a broad range of multi-stranded and complex projects, plans and strategies, formulating and adjusting as required. 

• Specialist knowledge through experience of project management, cost management, procurement management, quality assurance, and risk management. 

• Experience of working within a PMO environment. 

• Effective analytical skills, able to review and interpret highly complex and sometimes conflicting information and data and translate into reports, scenarios, schedules of accommodation and specifications, presenting options and recommendations. 

• Effective communication and presentation skills (both verbally and non-verbally), dealing with highly complex or sensitive information communicated to a wide range of individuals and groups at all levels internally and externally. 

• Experience of supporting and coordinating business plans across a number of teams. 

• Experience of drafting a wide range of reports with an ability to summarise a complex set of facts, clearly, accurately, and succinctly to a wide audience. 

• Negotiation, persuasion, and motivational skills, able to gain co-operation at all levels. To include an ability to calmly resolve sensitive issues in a professional manner

• Computer literate with advanced keyboard skills and experience in the use of Microsoft and other software packages for data analysis and report-writing

Location: Hybrid. Involves regular travel within Liverpool to provide in-person support to clients (approx. 1-2 days per week), and travel to Manchester office for team working (approx. once per fortnight as a minimum)

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for candidates with experience of supporting individuals with barriers to work into paid employment. Within this role you will carry a significant responsibility, managing a caseload of clients from a refugee background and supporting them in securing meaningful employment, training, and education opportunities.

You will provide one-to-one personalised support, delivering quality Information Advice and Guidance (IAG), alongside ongoing support to ensure your clients have all the skills they need to get into work. This involves working with clients to produce individual action plans with clear goals and actions to overcome identified needs and barriers and provide a clear pathway towards the labour market.

You will work with clients online and by phone, as well as in person to monitor their progress towards their goals. Complementary support will be delivered through our volunteers who are trained in delivering employment advice, and you will book weekly appointments for clients, allocating time slots according to availability and the volunteer’s specialty.

The Digital Fundraising Officer will deliver flexible, cost effective and class-leading digital marketing, fundraising and communications to enable Amref UK to achieve its unrestricted fundraising objectives. They will use targeted and effective profiling in a variety of media to deliver quality marketing communications. They will be responsible for Amref UK’s digital presence, developing the website, social media channels and email programme through the production of compelling and timely content, driving improvement to maximise inbound traffic, improve user journeys and optimise conversion to donations.

In addition, they will manage campaigns working with external agencies to create engaging content that is tailored to the individual giving and major donor audiences. BACKGROUND 

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. Over 200,000 children and young people are on roll at Primary, Secondary, ASL / Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units that the charity works with, in disadvantaged areas of Scotland and England. Providing breakfast ensures that children start their school day with the energy and nutrition they need to be able to make the most of their morning lessons.  Magic Breakfast also undertakes research, and campaigns for long-term solutions to end hunger as a barrier to learning.  

This is an exciting time at Magic Breakfast, as we have expanded our team to meet the challenge of ending morning hunger for now, and for good.

JOB PURPOSE 

Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Service Delivery team is responsible for ensuring the delivery of our breakfast provision. As Engagement Partner, you will work with relevant partners (schools, local authorities, parents, parent councils) to ensure that breakfast provision is optimized, encouraging reach and providing education on relevant topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Pipeline development and cultivation:   

• To develop a relationship with the supported schools in their respective area, to enable, preserve, embed, enhance and extend stigma and barrier free breakfast pron.

• To educating and engage with the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people on the importance of breakfast and implications of hunger as a barrier learning through various means including assemblies, staff meetings, online events and regional events throughout the academic year.

• To engage with the wider community to advocate for the importance of breakfast, the work that we are doing in existing schools and to support our campaigning and advocacy strategy and plans.

• To develop brand awareness in schools and local communities in line with our marketing strategy

• To support the recruitment of new schools with launching new breakfast provisions, adapting to the requirements of the school and children and young people, and advising on best practise

• To support any media requests as directed through the Policy & Engagement team

• To capture and report on “storytelling” to enable the organisation to utilise qualitative data to support external communication

• To explore, share and deliver on new engagement ideas across the department and organisation

• To enable, support and feedback on new ways of working, trials and innovations

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for candidates with experience of supporting individuals with barriers to work into paid employment. Within this role you will carry a significant responsibility, managing a caseload of clients from a refugee background and supporting them in securing meaningful employment, training, and education opportunities.

You will provide one-to-one personalised support, delivering quality Information Advice and Guidance (IAG), alongside ongoing support to ensure your clients have all the skills they need to get into work. This involves working with clients to produce individual action plans with clear goals and actions to overcome identified needs and barriers and provide a clear pathway towards the labour market.

You will work with clients online and by phone, as well as in person to monitor their progress towards their goals. Complementary support will be delivered through our volunteers who are trained in delivering employment advice, and you will book weekly appointments for clients, allocating time slots according to availability and the volunteer’s specialty.

You will be a Youth and Wellbeing Practitioner/Assistant Psychologist who is passionate about supporting MAC-UK’s objective of working collaboratively with young people, innovating services and systems and their approach to mental health, to address health and social inequalities. We aim to support services to be more accessible, flexible and responsive to excluded groups, and to change the systems that lead to and maintain inequality.  This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills in youth and community work and/or working towards a qualification (degree equivalent) in Youth Work, Social Work, Therapeutic Practice, Clinical/Educational/Forensic/Counselling Psychology.

We are very excited to be part of a pilot service, new in England working as part of a consortium of four organisations, alongside Lambeth Council. This will be a residential support service for young people aged 16-24 years at risk of serious youth violence, who are already caught up in the criminal justice system and at high risk of remaining part of the system.

You will be working in one of three London properties alongside a large multi-agency staff team made up of experts by experience/profession in psychology and therapy; youth work; offending; education, training, and employment (ETE) and housing. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to exit environments involving youth violence, identify and reach their goals and aspirations, move on successfully to appropriate independent living, and importantly to sustain this life.  Wherever possible staff and young people will co-produce what this service looks like and what activities the young people engage in.  This is a great opportunity if you are interested in therapeutic practice, and developing or using your therapeutic skills alongside the area of social action.

Videre is an award-winning, UK-registered NGO that exposes human rights abuses and holds perpetrators to account. We work directly with communities in stressed environments, equipping networks of activists and community leaders with the technology and training necessary to safely capture visual documentation of political violence, human rights violations, and other systemic abuses. POSITION SUMMARY

This is a critical role in the organisation, reporting to the Senior Director - Innovation. The role is responsible for the implementation, oversight and continued improvement of the organisation’s security risk management framework and processes.

The Security Manager will support both our own project teams as well as the work we do with partners which includes training and accompaniment on human rights documentation and the security risk management necessary to do this work safely. We also oversee a project providing ad-hoc advice directly to non-violent social movement activists which this role will manage.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure Videre’s Security Risk Management framework is up to date, efficient and effective.
• Conduct regular Security Risk Assessments (jointly with relevant Managers and Teams) for areas of programme operations, partner locations and other areas of risk.
• Develop and maintain Safety and Security Management Plans and SOPs for projects, and ensure relevant staff are familiar with its contents.
• Develop scenario planning for security and safety risk management.
• Provide proactive safety security management advice, guidance and support.
• As needed, lead the crisis management response when security incidents occur.
• Develop security risk management training resources and deliver them to staff and partners.
• Provide day-to-day Safety and Security Management, and assurance, including: situation monitoring, information sharing and reporting, implementing mitigation measures, reporting, and evaluation.
• Foster a ‘security culture’ within Videre.
• Manage Videre’s contribution to various consortiums.

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

Essential

• Professional writing and speaking in either English or French, with at least effective operational efficiency in the other language (B2 or above).
• You will have a proven track record of providing security and protection advice and training to human rights defenders, activists, and local civil society organisations.

Main Duties

We are recruiting a full time Physical Activity Lead to join the Complimentary services team within the Ravenswood Sports and Physical Activity Team. We offer sessions for Adults with Physical and Learning Disabilities, all within a semi-rural residential village environment in Crowthorne. Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Managing a small team to deliver the sports and physical activities provision

· Working closely with the Physical Activity Practitioners in conjunction with other professionals when required

· Deliver and plan wellbeing and physical activity programmes (this can be facilitating group and 1:1 sessions) e.g. health walks, bike club, rebound therapy on the trampoline and guided sessions within the hydrotherapy pool

· Varied administrative duties such as invoicing, keeping health and safety records up to date and liaising with external service providers
