QuarterFive are delighted to be partnering with Greenpeace UK in their search for a strategic leader to oversee its Key Relationships Team, actively engage with Greenpeace’s organisational leadership – contributing to key initiatives around inclusivity, anti-racism, and broader accountability – and lead the UK’s 2025 contribution to the global capital campaign. This role ofers the chance to make a significant impact by leading a high-performing team and playing a key role in Greenpeace’s overall leadership.
You will lead a talented Key Relationships Team of twelve, responsible for raising nearly £15.5 million annually from major donors, legacies, and mid-level giving. Your leadership will maintain the team’s strong performance while driving growth, including the UK’s contribution towards Greenpeace’s global capital campaign in 2025.
The capital campaign is a global effort to raise €100 million by 2028, funding the construction of a new ship and the environmental campaigns it will support. For 2025, the UK’s target is to secure £4 million, split equally between the ship’s construction and supporting key environmental campaigns.
As a strategic leader, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Greenpeace UK and internationally, playing a key role in driving organisational fundraising performance, cultural initiatives, and Greenpeace’s overall strategic direction.
As Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships, you will:
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Greenpeace UK and International to align on key strategies and deliver shared outcomes.
- Lead a high-performing team responsible for raising £15.5 million from major gifts, legacies, and mid-level giving.
- Guide the Key Relationship team’s UK contribution to Greenpeace’s €100 million global capital campaign, raising £4 million in 2025.
- Support the team in developing and managing current and prospective relationships with high-value donors.
Person specification:
ESSENTIAL:
- Extensive experience of establishing and sustaining relationships with senior-level external stakeholders and/or funders.
- Cross-organisational collaboration experience, with a proven ability to work effectively with senior internal stakeholders, driving collaboration and strategic alignment.
- A strategic leader with experience overseeing high-value income streams.
- Expertise in relationship fundraising in the charity/NFP sector and a proven track record of delivering six-figure income from high-value donors.
- Demonstrable experience of leading, managing, motivating, and inspiring high-performing teams, including managing managers.
- Strong budget management skills and experience delivering against financial targets.

DESIRABLE:
- Capital campaign experience would be advantageous.
- Track record of securing seven-figure donations.

Key responsibilities
Marketing
1 Working with Marketing Manager to implement the Marketing Strategy, including contributing to campaigns, messages and stakeholder relations.
2. Supporting the implementation of marketing plans for specific funds, working with our delivery partners and sub-contractors, as appropriate, and helping with programme and fund roundtables and events.
3. Supporting the Director of Investments and the Marketing Manager in delivering new business strategies by providing market analysis and data, publicity plans, key messages, event planning, set up and coordination as necessary.
4. Supporting the Marketing Manager with marketing contacts in partner, investee and other stakeholder organisations, maintaining contacts and ensuring that SIB funds and programmes are represented across sector events and in peer publications.
5. Liaise with the Business Development Manager to contribute effectively to new tenders, including supplying accurate marketing and communications data and deliverable activities.
Communications
6. Working with the CEO, Deputy CEO and Marketing Manager to implement the Marketing Strategy, including developing and managing campaigns, messages and stakeholder relations.
7. Supporting the development of content and publications as required including newsletters, brochures and reports, case studies, blogs, articles, website content, e-newsletter content.
8. Working with the Marketing Manager and Policy and Communications Manager to liaise with external networks – national, third sector and key regional press contacts, other communications managers – to increase the reach of SIB’s work and to disseminate it widely.

Summary of the role:
The UK Programmes Officer will provide a mixture of administration and project support to the UK Programmes Manager. Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Safeguarding professional, with a strong interest in protecting adults at risk and children from harm, within the wider Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Community?
Based within our Helpline Services team, you’ll have responsibility for:
- Responding to concerns reported by staff and volunteers
- Leading the coordination of responding to safeguarding concerns
- Dealing with safeguarding issues (as they arise) and liaising with statutory services as needed
- Giving advice and support to colleagues and our volunteers in relation to safeguarding and disclosure checking
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the society
- Liaising with external safeguarding agencies
- Embedding organisational safeguarding policies, procedures and practices across the society
You’ll have experience of working in a safeguarding customer-facing environment within the Charity or Public Service sectors. You’ll have proficient administrative and IT skills with the ability to work accurately, consistently and independently. You’ll ideally have had experience in supporting vulnerable people in person, over the phone and or online.
An understanding of safeguarding within the Charity and Public Service sectors is essential.

Members work with RSS staff to support areas such as policy development, education, training, statistical communication, and statistical literacy.
The Director of Professional Services is responsible for our professional affairs activities, overseeing the creation, maintenance and application of relevant standards through our professional affairs committee, and certification and accreditation schemes. They are also responsible for member recruitment and management, ensuring we continue to attract new RSS members and partners, and that their needs are met. They also oversee a range of activities that engage RSS members (including groups that bring members together on a topic or geographical basis, RSS honours and awards, and our volunteering opportunities), securing both our impact on society and member retention.
Informed by an in-depth understanding of the needs of members and prospective members, the Director manages these activities strategically across the organisation, bringing relevant staff together within small teams working on defined goals that support our objectives, foster a sense of value and community for all members and ultimately lead to the growth in membership and impact of the Society.
Pension and benefits: Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 8% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 16%). A training budget, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme are also available.
Location: The RSS office is in central London and currently open twice a week. We offer flexible working arrangements and office attendance is encouraged but not mandatory depending on the role. ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet. Its membership team is the key point of contact for aspiring new Community Members, subscribers and existing member organisations. The coordinator will be in contact with a diverse range of organisations working in sustainability, assisting in pitching and providing specialist services, as well as helping prospective Community Members to navigate the member application process. Additionally, the role will coordinate activities relating to members fulfilling the requirements of membership and will ensure accurate record keeping for services and member related processes.
To be considered for this role, you will be highly organised with great attention to detail and a committed approach to serving customers or stakeholders. You will enjoy working on a varied and changing set of tasks related to different areas of membership provision. Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:
Services and member prospecting
- Act as the first point of contact and respond to enquiries about ISEAL, services and membership
- Schedule and co-lead prospect calls, pitching relevant services from our portfolio, taking notes and supporting follow up actions
- Help member prospects understand the value of ISEAL membership and our services, and coordinate outreach to prospective members ahead of Community Member application windows

What you’ll be doing
- The post holder will help advance Ukie’s policy work on aspects of UK and international policy impacting the games and interactive entertainment industry through:
- Monitoring policy changes and providing in-depth policy analysis, research, and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Relationship building and engagement with Ukie members and wider sector stakeholders, including attendance at internal and external stakeholder meetings and coalition industry groups.
- Support the Senior Policy Manager in research for Ukie’s external consultation responses, co-ordinating with members and facilitating internal forums for discussions on particular issues.
- Support in organising events and engagement with policy makers within Whitehall, Westminster, the Devolved Governments and with regional, combined and local authorities as well as with our global partners in the EU, US and further afield.
- Assisting the policy and research teams with major public affairs projects and campaigns according to the UKIEs internal strategy and drawing on Ukie’s internal data and external partners where appropriate.
- Supporting and promoting Ukie at external political meetings, including our bi-annual Westminster Games Week.

BACKGROUND
The Communications Manager (Strategy) works as a vital part of the Communications and Engagement directorate, reporting into the Senior External Communications Manager. This role looks to provide strategic communication and planning expertise particularly in support of the Institute’s science and innovation priorities and other strategic goals.
We are seeking a candidate with excellent written & oral communication skills and demonstrable experience of collaborating with peers & technical experts to create engaging, insight driven communication strategies. You should have strong knowledge of current communication industry trends and digital communications techniques to achieve successful engagement activities which you will measure the success of with solid data analysis skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with liaising and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders and be able to work flexibly whilst managing a varied workload to tight deadlines.
DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Building trusted relationships with scientists and experts at all levels of seniority to understand their needs and objectives, then devising ways that effective communication activity can help them deliver
- Leading, overseeing, producing or contributing to the creation of communication and engagement plans to support the Turing’s priority science and innovation programmes such as environment and sustainability, health, defence and security, alongside our AI and data science skills agenda
- Leading the directorate’s planning and horizon scanning activity, ensuring the wider team and Turing leadership are aware of forthcoming announcements, projects, campaigns and external opportunities
- Leading the directorate’s monitoring and evaluation activity, such as creating and updating quarterly dashboards working with colleagues across the directorate
- Building and maintaining relationships with Turing colleagues and staff at partner organisations who can help inform our planning and horizon scanning efforts
- Monitoring the delivery of communication plans, working across the directorate and our research programmes to ensure effective and timely delivery
- Acting as an advocate for/expert in strategic communications
- Managing and delivering communication activity in support of our plans.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Demonstrable experience of working in a communications or marketing environment in the private or public sector
- Experience of creating and delivering insight driven communications plans, including measuring the success of the activity
- Experience of working with experts, such as researchers, scientists or other specialist colleagues, to understand their objectives and devising where communication and engagement activity can help them
- Knowledge of current communication industry trends such as knowledge of the media landscape and modern digital communication techniques
- Good networking, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise and support a wide range of colleagues including senior leaders and researchers
- Ability to lead and motivate colleagues through formal line management and carry out performance related reviews, providing feedback and further development

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This full-time post is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months (with the possibility of extension), at an annual salary of £53,021 plus excellent benefits, including flexible working and family friendly policies.
