Purpose
The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Senior Data and Insights Manager. The role will strengthen network-facing resources and support in a data-driven way, devising and implementing measures to drive membership growth and enhance membership satisfaction. This would include collaborating on research and analysis, translating insights into recommendations to support decision-making, and developing membership content available through to our network.
The Senior Manager would actively promote greater engagement with our network, demonstrating a commitment to identifying and removing barriers to ensure all members can access the benefits of accreditation. Working under the Head of Operations and Insight, the Senior Manager will need to have excellent data collection and analysis skills, and an ability to translate that analysis into actions for the Living Wage Foundation through strong communication skills. They will also need to be able to build relationships with senior stakeholders, maximising our impact through the development of our membership offer to the Living Wage network. The suitable candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively across the Living Wage Foundation and Citizens UK teams.
Main Responsibilities
Build and manage projects, and achieve work targets effectively

Manage the development and continual improvement of membership services with evidence-based and user-centred design, ensuring network can access benefits.

Work collaboratively across the LWF to ensure our membership services offer is joined up and avoids duplication. Focus on working with events, communications, and the membership team.

Implement processes and mechanisms for evaluating member-facing services and events and champion the use of these findings to guide future work.

Initiate design and delivery of regular employer network surveys and prepare regular internal analysis and reporting.

Work with Research team to conduct regular quantitative network composition analysis and reporting of the Living Wage network, and establish clear ways to present this analysis internally and externally to inform strategic decisions.

What we do
Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects. Since resuming services post-Covid, we have realized the needs and wants of the community have shifted from our previous offer. We have a strong Community Development programme to connect with and rebuild our offer, including some big changes to pre-Covid ways of working. Building on a strong track record, we intend to continue working with the community to deliver activities and events that meet local needs while also providing opportunities for fun and friendship. Our community offer includes activities connecting children to nature and tackling food insecurity; accessible community fitness and wellbeing activities; and intergenerational activities and events. We are re-developing our offer whilst staying focused on our aims: ensuring that everyone feels part of a community and that no one is isolated or lonely. We are looking for a fresh pair of eyes to help us evolve this work.
The role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
• Strategic development and oversight of community programmes for children, adults and across multiple generations
• Leadership and line management of team; oversight of sessional facilitators and contractors used by team
• Setting programme budget and service targets; monitoring and evaluation to ensure delivery against these
• Playing a key part in building, broadening and developing new funding for these programmes and maintaining relationships with current funders
• Lead role in planning and execution of community events

About you

You have experience of fundraising and maybe other types of income generation. You have strong relationship building skills – internally and externally - and build trust and credibility easily. About this job
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Safeguarding professional, with a strong interest in protecting adults at risk and children from harm, within the wider Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Community?
Based within our Helpline Services team, you’ll have responsibility for:
- Responding to concerns reported by staff and volunteers
- Leading the coordination of responding to safeguarding concerns
- Dealing with safeguarding issues (as they arise) and liaising with statutory services as needed
- Giving advice and support to colleagues and our volunteers in relation to safeguarding and disclosure checking
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the society
- Liaising with external safeguarding agencies
- Embedding organisational safeguarding policies, procedures and practices across the society
You’ll have experience of working in a safeguarding customer-facing environment within the Charity or Public Service sectors. You’ll have proficient administrative and IT skills with the ability to work accurately, consistently and independently. You’ll ideally have had experience in supporting vulnerable people in person, over the phone and or online.
An understanding of safeguarding within the Charity and Public Service sectors is essential.
A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check without barring list check will need to be obtained to undertake this role.

Purpose of the post
HDR UK is seeking to appoint an experienced and hands-on Project Coordinator to deliver vital UK-wide initiatives which focus on building public trust and confidence in the use of data and statistics in research. Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement at HDR UK and the Senior Communications and Engagement Manager at DARE UK, this new and pivotal role will work with several PEDRI and DARE UK partner organisations. The role will be key to supporting and drawing on the expertise of organisations across the data research and statistics sector in the UK to embed meaningful public engagement and involvement in data research.
PEDRI has set up its approach and delivery plan until March 2027 and needs a skilled and collaborative Project Coordinator to drive the delivery of this plan. The role holder will bring effective project coordinating tools and skills to work with and support organisations, teams and senior leaders to deliver on objectives across communications, events and stakeholder involvement and engagement. Additionally, the post holder will directly support one of PEDRI’s founding partners; DARE UK’s public involvement and engagement functions and will have a central role in working across the data research and statistics ecosystem. The post holder will draw on expertise to enable shared knowledge and good practise-based learning about involvement and engagement of patients, the public and practitioners in data science.

Our Community Connector’s serve as the first point of contact for those visiting our sites, providing support for people to engage with services and activities.
The role aims to build relationships, identify peoples’ interests and goals and find appropriate opportunities for support. This role will be largely based in our main location, in Bromley by Bow, and Welcome Hub in East India Dock Rd, which we are developing in partnership with Poplar HARCA, an award-winning housing association in East London.

Role Description
Veganuary is recruiting a part-time HR Manager who will work to manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle across our International operation. This standalone HR position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will manage and continue to develop all HR practices and processes ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations across the countries that Veganuary operates in. This role is crucial in ensuring the organisation attracts, recruits and develops high performing team members. The HR Manager will work closely with the wider Operations team to ensure the efficient, supportive, and compliant culture of Veganuary.
Whilst we would love someone with experience of working as an HR Manager across an International team, we recognise that some elements of the role can be learned. Therefore, this role could suit someone who has solid HR experience at a lower level but who is proactive, self-suffice and with great employment law experience.
Core Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, contacting candidates, arranging interviews and onboarding
- Coach and support hiring managers with recruitment processes, screening and onboarding, ensuring compliance with international labour laws
- Ensure International salaries and benefits packages are competitive and attractive
Development
- Stay informed of changes in employment law and implement necessary changes to HR policies
- Lead learning and development initiatives to support skills development across the team
- Design and deliver training programs tailored to meet the needs of diverse workforces in various International locations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust strategies to maximise impact
- Lead on wellbeing initiatives for team members and act as MHFA
- Coordinate performance review and appraisal processes across Veganuary
Engagement
- Act as a primary point of contact for international HR issues, providing guidance and support to team members
- Lead on all employee relations issues addressing and resolving conflicts in a culturally sensitive and compliant manner
- Coordinate initiatives and champion diversity, equality and inclusion across Veganuary
· Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that respects cultural differences and promotes employee engagement
- Coordinate our bi-annual staff survey and other HR consultations
Reporting and Compliance
- Maintain and develop our HRIS, BambooHR
- Monitor HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Manage the monthly payroll administration, alongside external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with all local labour laws, employment standards, and immigration regulations across various jurisdictions
- Partner with Employers of Record to mitigate risks and address legal issues related to international employment

Person Specification – Essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and the ability to apply this
- Wide-ranging knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience working in an HR generalist role
- Excellent Microsoft 365 skills
- Approachable and personable with a genuine desire to support our growing, hard-working international team
- Ability to prioritise and action tasks quickly when necessary
- Ability to work from home within a fully remote team
- Capacity to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of stakeholder

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process normally takes around 3 weeks and usually consists of 4 stages as follows:
1. A job specific pre interview task (to be completed between 21st – 24th October 2024)
We’re lucky enough to receive many amazing applications for our roles and it’s sometimes difficult to select a small number of people to interview. By having a pre interview task, it allows us to learn more about our shortlisted candidates than a CV and cover letter can tell us.
2. A first interview with the hiring manager and one other team member (Interviews will take place on 5th November 2024)
This is always competency based and job aligned so there isn’t anything for you to prepare.
3. A timed trial task (to be completed between 6th – 8th November)
You will be given a job specific task to be completed with a short window of time at a time agreed with our HR team.
4. A follow up second interview with the hiring manager and one other team member (Interviews will take place on the 11th November 2024)
This final stage allow the team to ask any follow up questions or explore areas that they have reflected on since the first interview. There isn’t usually anything to prepare.
