We tackle the reasons for vulnerability and exclusion, building on the self-reliance and dignity secured through economic solutions to tackle stigma, discrimination and abuse of rights.
The successful Programme Manager will manage current programmes in Sierra Leone (working with a corporate on child labour and strengthening CBOs for more inclusive governance) and support the development of new programmes in Kenya and possibly Tanzania. The Programme Manager will play a key role in the development of APT Action on Poverty.
Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will be: supporting contract delivery and financial management, developing/maintaining donor relationships, seeking new partnerships and project opportunities, proposal development and applications to institutions.
Experience of living and working in East or West Africa, a track record in proposal development and applications to institutions, knowledge of livelihood development and rights based approaches are key areas for this role.
This is a remote role, we meet up once a month in Evesham. We will also consider applicants who wish to work 80% FTE.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our highly successful, passionate, and driven Family Support Hub Team.
As a Family Support Hub Officer, you will work within our Family Support Hub, liaising with identified partners to provide enhanced support to families caring for a child with a life limited illness. In addition, you will support those families contacting Together for Short Lives through the Helpline, website and from partner referrals. The Family Support Hub Officer will help us to deliver our programme of work for children’s health and social care services to improve and expand the range of support that they can offer to families.

You will be passionate about providing support to seriously ill children and their families and be inspired by the potential to make an impact and to deliver tangible change.

About the role
We are looking for a highly personable and skilled events and digital co-ordinator to join the UK Food Business team. This is an established team, responsible for improving animal welfare standards and developing sustainable supply chains across the global food industry. The right candidate will assist in the organisation of key events both in person and online to support the team to engage with key stakeholders in the chicken industry.
This is a vital role within Compassion’s Food Business Programme and offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact for farm animal welfare within a dynamic and influential global organisation. The right candidate will have a proven track record of organising forums, webinars and face to face round tables. You will need to be an influencer, a networker and capable of developing key business relationships. Importantly, there is plenty of scope to bring your own creativity, voice, and novel approach to driving change for farm animals. About The Role
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, the Operations and Systems Manager would take a birds-eye view of our organisation to help us build a consistent, collaborative and centralised approach to how we work. You would hold responsibility for developing and embedding operational strategies, processes, policies, and systems that meet our needs and help to support staff wellbeing. This role includes a key focus on improving how we can better use and manage our digital infrastructure to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and to improve our ability to engage and retain external audiences, enabling us to build our impact on a national scale. Key areas of responsibility are as follows:
Day-to-day operational management of the Charity, including:
- Resolving daily operational and administrative issues efficiently and effectively.
- Taking initiative to enhance or develop, implement and embed effective systems and working practices, drawing from personal knowledge and experience and external examples of best practice.
- Developing and refining our approach to hybrid working, ensuring systems and processes enable connection and creativity across the organisation. This includes working closely with the HR and Finance Officer to ensure new and existing staff are appropriately trained and supported with ensuring a safe, comfortable and productive home working set-up.
- Taking responsibility for managing our office space and working environment, ensuring it is fit for the organisation’s needs. This includes everything from liaising with our landlord and tradespeople, ensuring compliance with the terms of our lease, maintaining required levels of tea, coffee, milk, stationery and other consumables, and making improvements to ensure a productive and effective working environment.
- Ensuring technology (computers, printers etc.) is fit for purpose, safe, enables robust data security, and is properly recorded on Music Masters’ asset register.

The Felix Project is a dynamic, ambitious charity working to make London a city where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. Purpose of the Job
To support in both the design & creation and the day to day running & implementation of Felix's Kitchen new employability programme and then be the key driving force behind delivering these programmes.
You will be leading a team of chef apprentices, providing them with hands on skills training created by yourself alongside the accredited course, supporting them with functional skills training, being their day-to-day line manager and supporting other employability programmes within the Felix Project in particular Felix’s Kitchen other programmes.
You will work alongside the wider Felix Kitchen team and support your programme to integrate into the main production kitchen. You will take a leading role in supporting Felix’s Kitchen at events and engagement opportunities, supporting the apprentices being a huge part of these events, both on and off site. The training kitchen will be your base and you will be responsible for the safe and effective running of this part of the kitchen, maximising its impact on the programmes as well as exploring other opportunities for its use, hosting visitors and charity partners. You will be a key part of all reporting and evaluations of our employability programmes.

This full time, homebased position covering the North of England focusing on our key areas in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will be actively building networks of organisations and individuals in the region to fundraise for us, writing local grant applications and supporting fundraisers locally as well as our shops and key services in the region. Candidates must be willing to travel to shops and services with the region as well as for team meetings in London and Birmingham, therefore a driving license and access to your own vehicle is advantageous. You will be joining a supportive team that works across regions and income streams to deliver the best possible experience for our growing number of supporters. Travel required to sites once every 2-3 weeks.

About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with experience of business development, operational delivery, and project management to join Repowering London’s growing team. You will be a core part of our mission to tackle climate change and move towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.
You will be responsible for delivering existing projects that provide energy efficiency, low-carbon heat and other retrofit support for homes in London, including managing our existing domestic retrofit team. This will include street-level, single-dwelling homes as well as a growing focus on blocks of flats and multi-occupancy buildings. Your role as Domestic Retrofit Programme Manager
As our Domestic Retrofit Programme Manager, you will be the propulsive energy behind establishing and developing our growing low carbon retrofit service. To date Repowering London’s domestic retrofit offer has focused on research and development for innovative approaches to unlocking retrofit at blocks of flats, and delivering place-based domestic retrofit services in Lambeth and Newham that aims to increase awareness of retrofit as well as increase uptake of retrofit, either through existing retrofit grant schemes such as ECO or through working with the able-to-pay market. So far, this offer has been developed through grant funding, while our ambition is to develop sustainable business models to deliver these services ongoing.
Your role would be to build on this initial work with the completion of the business model and commercial terms, the development of a staged strategy for market entry, and to then launch and grow the new service. You will work closely with Repowering London’s Community Retrofit Director, Rooftop Solar and Non-Domestic Retrofit Teams, as well as the Executive Team, to share knowledge and leads, and to support the integration of our operations into a holistic retrofit service.
