Why we need you

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator with a passion for the Future Frontiers mission (you do not need to have previous experience of fundraising) who will play a vital supporting role to secure income that is needed to deliver the Future Frontiers programme for a growing number of young people.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Fundraising Manager and work closely with the Fundraising and Partnerships teams. Your primary focus will be on charitable Trusts and Foundations: researching suitable funding opportunities and writing external-facing communications. You will arrange programme visits to meet with young people and develop high-quality case studies. In addition, you will play a role in Future Frontiers' wider income generation work through researching potential business supporters and working with people participating in fundraising activities including employee fundraising and challenge events. You will keep excellent records of all fundraising activity to ensure effective team collaboration. 

Your responsibilities

Research and pipeline development 

You will complete research to find charitable trusts, foundations and businesses that have the potential to support Future Frontiers for the first time and keep detailed notes for the fundraising and partnerships teams. You will use this knowledge to support the pipeline of funding opportunities for the coming years, including making recommendations for the amount of funding we ask for and what it could go towards.

Enquiries and applications 

You will write enquiries and applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support will make a difference. 

Reports and case studies

You will write reports that are tailored to each recipient and demonstrate how their funding has made a difference. This will involve arranging programme visits to speak with young people and develop case studies. 

Supporter engagement 

You will support the planning and delivery of high-quality, tailored communications and engagement opportunities for existing and potential supporters. This will include supporting individual volunteer fundraisers and employees of business partners. 

Record-keeping

You will ensure that key information about our fundraising activity is stored appropriately and with high attention to detail.

Barnardo's are commissioned to deliver the services in the Children and Family Centres in Warwickshire in partnership with a wide variety of agencies offering activities to children, young people and parents/carers. Rugby Children and Family Centres are recruiting for an Early Years lead to oversee and line manage the Early Years and Children and Young People's workers who deliver a range of services including 1:1 support, groups activities and courses. Our work is all about making the biggest impact during the journey of a child's life.

 The service aims to offer sessions during the day, after school and on weekends.

The service provides 10 weekly universal activities across East Ham over 49 weeks of the year for young people aged 9-19 including:

Job Summary

CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers.  Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities.  Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.

The Family Team Lead will assist the Family Service Manager in overseeing the operational running and leadership and management of our Family Team at our centre in Eastcote.

The Family Team Lead will be responsible for the line management of some of our Family Support Workers, as well as the direct delivery of services, including being the lead facilitator on some of our parenting courses.  As such, we are looking for a friendly, organised and hard-working individual. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a drive to ensure everyone who seeks support from us has the best possible experience. If you’re passionate about supporting neurodivergent people and their families, then this is an ideal opportunity for you.

There is no requirement for any experience of, or understanding of, autism / ADHD, as we will provide training on the conditions.  This role will best suit someone who is very organised, who is able to task switch easily between line management, project management, client facing support work, group facilitation, course content creation and strategic and operational planning activities, and who is able to interact with a high number of clients and staff each week in order to ensure the sufficient number of appointments are provided to meet our funder requirements. 

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with vulnerable individuals and demonstrate confidence, composure during crises, quick thinking, and adaptability. A genuine acceptance of diversity and a keenness to learn are essential.

This role would suit someone with a key worker, social worker or teacher background.

· Our drop-in support service is the bedrock of our family support work, and we have offered drop-in support sessions for parents for over 20 years.  Our drop-in support service has grown in the last year, and now encompasses daytime and evening groups, both in our centre and online.  You will act as the lead facilitator for the overall project, sharing best practice across the different elements of the service, evaluating its effectiveness for those we serve.

This is a new role giving you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. You will need demonstrable fundraising experience and the ability to work confidently as a strategic thinker and as a practical fundraiser. You will be a confident and capable leader who will work with colleagues towards supporting an annual programme of circa £3m. This role is crucial to building the charity's long-term sustainability, with a focus on exploring innovative opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Brand Operations Officer is responsible for managing the distribution of products donated by brands to community-led projects. This role plays a key part in developing and coordinating relationships with key logistics and storage partners.

Managing the brand donation logistic process in line with the organisational objectives, resulting in the successful allocation of products to reach areas of most need.

· Respond to and coordinate all brand enquiries

· Accurately allocate, and track all brand donations, ensuring prompt logging by Projects

· Work with the brands to ensure accurate data is provided and meets The Hygiene Bank’s requirements

· Work closely with existing partners to utilise storage and logistics solutions and continue to develop these relationships

· Record KPI’s and analyse the data

· Prepare detailed quarterly reports for the Operations, Finance, Risk and Audit Committee and present the findings to them, when required

· Support the Head of Operations / Operations Manager to deliver the brand strategy including identifying new logistic providers

· Attend all Operation Team meetings and work closely with Partnership Managers to gain a clearer understanding of each Project and their requirements

Key Details

The Role
With support from your Regional Appeal Manager, produce an income and expenditure budget for your area.
Provide accurate and timely monthly commentary to your manager.
Identity, plan and monitor progress of key activity (in the regional fundraising plan) to deliver the income and expenditure set out in the budget/reforecast.
Manage the activity of a range of local supporters and partners ( Appeal Organisers, other volunteers, regional corporates, and organisations) in order to achieve income budget/forecast.
Manage an agreed number of relationships across your area, ensuring that your supporters have the tools, resources, and support necessary to maximise their fundraising activity.
Develop and support a portfolio of regional corporate partnerships.
Work with key internal partners (membership, operations, PR, etc) at the local level to achieve the above.
Recruit and induct new Appeal Organisers
Ensure that AO have appropriate tools and resources to maximise the impact of the appeal, and that these are proportionate to the activity taking place and income raised.

The Candidate
Good commercial knowledge to ensure suitable ROI in both investment and effort.
Evidence of financial management skills; set and deliver income targets of up to 800,000.
Takes ownership of planning income/expenditure budget and responsible for supplying monthly commentary to manager.
Experience of creating and managing great supporter relationships with volunteers to deliver agreed objectives and income targets
Experience of fundraising, sales and/or customer service environment.
Experience of planning multiple activities and/or events throughout the year.
