Responsibilities and Person Specification:

As a Graphic Designer, you will be part of our busy and friendly Studio team delivering content that presents an authentic narrative of older people’s lives. Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, you will play an essential role in producing our design work for print and digital channels.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, the post-holder will collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders and be responsible for delivering creative solutions that uphold our brand guidelines.

You should have experience working in either an in-house studio or a design agency and be skilled at producing and delivering designs for different media, including print, digital and social. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to take instruction and deliver with a can-do attitude. In addition, you will be very proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programmes and Microsoft Office.

This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. This could include welfare, personal and family support and wider mental health and wellbeing support or additional learning needs such as dyslexia, ADHD, literacy support and other needs.

You will work with the team to implement strategies and support plans for individuals to aid learning and enhance educational experience. You will support the team’s administrator to monitor learner’s attendance, contacting them via phone, email or arranging a meeting in person where pastoral support is needed.

You will work with our Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases across our departments, including keeping safeguarding records, making referrals and building a database of local support services available to learners and other service users.

The Trust is recruiting a creative and committed Research and Policy Officer to join our team, as fixed term cover for paternity leave. Person Specification

Essential:

• Strong analytical skills and understanding of research methods, particularly quantitative research and literature reviews. This should include experience of using data analysis software such as R/SPSS/Stata/Python or equivalent.
• A qualification in a social science or other numerate discipline, including statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science or similar discipline in the social or natural sciences at undergraduate level, or comparable experience.

The Media Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing Independent Age’s media communications programme, including media and PR, social media, celebrities and stories. About the Role:

This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office in Old Street and in co-location at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

As a Hospital Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate you will:

• Implement effective ways of working with victims to increase safety & reduce harm

The opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated candidate to join our Housing team at Standing Together. If you are someone who shares our passion to improve the lives of those experiencing the sharpest end of multiple disadvantage then we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Multiple Disadvantage and Homelessness programme. The programme was set up in 2017 in response to the gap in provision for meeting the unique needs of women experiencing domestic abuse, homelessness and other forms of multiple disadvantage. By ‘Multiple Disadvantage’ we are referring to those with cooccurring experiences of homelessness, substance misuse, interpersonal violence and abuse and poor mental health (Gender Matters). We recognise that multiple disadvantage is a systemic, not an individual issue; structural inequality creates the conditions in which experiences of poverty, abuse, trauma and neglect intersect. In addition, disadvantage is further compounded by systemic discrimination based on concepts of identity, such as age, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, religion, or belief. There are currently three funded projects that make up
the programme, that are united by a common purpose:

We work across sectors to educate organisations around the needs of survivors of abuse and other forms of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) who experience homelessness and severe and multiple disadvantage.
We work to highlight the structural barriers this group face in accessing services and support and build a coordinated community response to domestic abuse, VAWG and multiple disadvantage.
We work to change the systems that create and reinforce multiple disadvantage in the lives of survivors of domestic abuse and VAWG by supporting organisations to pilot and embed new approaches and by engaging with policy and commissioning at both the local and national level.

We are looking for someone with direct experience of working with women impacted by multiple disadvantage, who can draw on this experience to lead on the delivery of programme workstreams, in particular our Housing First work and partnership work with Westminster Council Changing Futures project around VAWG and multiple disadvantage. You will have strong project management skills and experience and the flexibility to work across multiple workstreams at once.

We are looking for a creative and passionate, motivated, and engaging person who can build and maintain strong partnerships with a range of stakeholders, and advocate for women and survivors of domestic abuse impacted by multiple disadvantage across sectors and at the highest level. At STADA we know a coordinated community response to domestic abuse, VAWG and multiple disadvantage is essential to enable women and survivors to access the housing and support that they need, and to change the systems that reinforce suffering and discrimination for this cohort. IKWRO - Women’s Rights Organisation is a registered charity (number 1151507) which supports Middle Eastern women and girls living in the UK who are facing “honour” based violence, forced marriage, domestic violence or female genital mutilation.

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. They will also be responsible for the preparation of finance related performance evidence for monthly/quarterly submission.

Your HR Asssitsnt / HR Admin role

• Lead on generalist HR support to the Employee Relations Team.
• Provide administration support for employment relations cases, TUPE, restructures and mediation services.
• Answer queries from managers and staff on HR matters.
• Support the HR Advisors and HR Managers with coordination of hearings, other formal meetings, coordination of cases and mediations,
• Organise and coordinate hearings, appeals and other employment relations/consultation meetings for chairs, managers and investigators, arrangements, and minute taking.
• Assist in the production of reports as directed by HR Managers or Workforce Information Analyst or others.

About the Investment Team

The Investment Team is responsible for selecting charity partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our charity partners to improve and scale their impact.

The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.

The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 5). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.

Job description – Investment Director

The Investment Director (ID) is a key member of the Investment Team, playing a leading role in identifying, assessing, and supporting portfolio partner charities and other non-profit organisations to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. This role works closely with other Investment Directors and Investment Managers to deliver external facing support to portfolio partners as well as internal projects to support the development of the investment model and portfolio strategy.

Investment Directors use strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and senior relationship skills to support a portfolio of amazing organisations that, together, will help shift the life chances and outcomes of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK.

Key responsibilities

Finding high potential charities and non-profit partners for our portfolio

• Identifying potential charitable organisations for investment.
• Leading in-depth due diligence process to assess and build partnership foundations with potential partners – covering leadership and governance, and their impact, scale, and partnership potential.
• Modelling from first contact of origination, our approach to engaged and trust-based investment management support.
• Developing and championing high quality investment propositions to our Investment Committee.

Managing partnerships with portfolio partners

• Managing relationships with partner Chairs and CEOs 
• Agreeing Service Funding Agreements, including appropriate annual investment milestones to allow for a clear assessment of re-investment potential at end of phase 
• Regularly monitoring and assessing partner progress / risks against milestones and making recommendations for progression or exit
• Escalating key risks on performance, leadership and safeguarding
• Conducting annual partnership review with Sector Leads and partner CEOs
• Working with Impetus Finance colleagues to ensure timely distribution of grant payments, in line with Service Funding Agreements.

Supporting portfolio partners

• Providing direct support to CEOs and senior colleagues on key strategic topics, using a mix of at least monthly one-to-one meetings and group facilitation to:

  • achieve a step change in the delivery and performance management of outcomes
