· Monitor the Alumni mailbox and ensure a timely reply to all queries and requests directed to them (including connecting Alumni who are looking for other Scholars). Provide appropriate responses to a varied range of enquiries from community members by email, phone, post and in person. Tactfully and diplomatically recognise and quickly resolve any potential issues raised
· Under the guidance of the Global Programmes and Alumni Engagement Lead, lead on key Alumni engagement initiatives as required, for example the annual Meeting Minds Alumni Dinner
· Ensure that all Rhodes Alumni Associations are up to date regarding the activities of the Rhodes Trust and where appropriate and possible, provide Alumni Associations with administrative support for their key events and engagement activities. Manage day-to-day contact and services to the network of Alumni Groups and Alumni Associations
· Together with the Communications team, support with mailings, Rhodes Connect content and social media activity that ensures that Rhodes Alumni are up to date and engaged in the activities of the Rhodes Community

Strategy and planning
• Deliver the existing Community and Events strategy and maximise opportunities for income growth

Fundraising events management

• Deliver excellent supporter care to ensure supporters are motivated to achieve (and exceed) their fundraising targets, feel valued and build engagement with us
• Key point of contact for high level event participants and community fundraisers via face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails – providing timely and personalised support
• Support the Events and Community Officer with enquiries, applications and registrations for challenge events, ensuring high levels of conversion, and capturing relevant supporter data

Marketing
• Oversee all paid Facebook advertising activity for events, updating web listings, and utilising our networks

• Develop and deliver effective and engaging content, and materials for supporters to increase recruitment, retention, and average fundraising amounts

The Head of High Value Fundraising is responsible for delivering and significantly growing income from Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy and Trusts and Grants. Specific Duties
Leadership
- To lead and inspire the high value team fostering a collaborative and high culture that delivers against income and objectives

High Value Fundraising

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

They will also manage the Digital Content & Communications Officer and the Design Publications Officer, together contributing to our culture of innovation and excellence.
