The role is remote, but with occasional in-person meetings / events / social opportunities, but these are not fixed and we’re not one of those companies who say remote but really need you to be at a specific location every month!

Even more sessions in classrooms
Even more expeditions running in the outdoors
Even more children attending our residential weekends
New partnerships and sponsorships with other organisations
You'll find excellent opportunities to gain hands-on experience in our operations and develop your skills within a dynamic and varied role. Thanks to the wide-range of activities we offer to young people and the variety of opportunities we can offer you, the role can be steered towards your strengths, skills and interests. You would also see the impact of your work first-hand by observing sessions in schools. Contractually, you'll be employed by one of the businesses and then also subcontracted across the other three. We're looking for someone invested in our causes and who will become part of our tight-knot core group, working closely with our Founders, Directors and wider team.
What we can offer you:
-
Real impact: You’ll play a key role in supporting the team to deliver a programme that makes a big difference to children
-

Fuelled by the perspectives of our members and a resolute sense of purpose, we broaden our impact through the diverse range of services we provide to Trading Standards professionals across the UK.
If you are an experienced Digital Manager with a passion for Web development and the more technical aspects of digital marketing, then we have the opportunity for you! The opportunity has arisen for a “digital guru” to join our small digital and marketing team, to develop engaging and accessible content across our range of websites, to share knowledge and experience with the team and boost the profile of our profession.

CTSI has embraced remote and flexible working and as such, this role is mainly remote, with IT and DSE equipment provided. However, we are hybrid with a small office near Cannon Street in Central London and our Head Office in Basildon, Essex, and expectations are for all staff to attend for mandatory meetings, usually once a month. There may be occasions where other travel is necessary, such as for client meetings or exhibitions, but this will be communicated in advance.
We would love to hear from you, even if you don't have all the listed experience or skills; you might bring something valuable we haven't even considered!
Benefits include:
- Hybrid working, working abroad policy
- Minimum 25 days holiday plus bank holiday
- Christmas shut down, paid volunteer days
- Increased pension contribution
- EDI and family friendly policies
- Training and Membership funding
