Main Responsibilities

· Assisting the CEO and the Executive Team Members in the development and delivery of the Society’s many activities and projects to ensure all tasks are being completed within timelines, effectively and to high standards

· Supporting the Conferences and Events Manager in the development and running of an extensive programme of network events and workshops, and the Society’s annual conference

· Promoting the Society and its events on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X

· Scheduling meetings, organising papers, and some note/minute taking, as required

· Ensuring all actions are recorded and completed following Meetings of the Board of Trustees and standing committee and working group meetings.

· Developing an understanding of the Society’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and managing related data.

Qualifications, skills and experience

Job overview

The Digital and Content Manager is responsible for the development and execution of BeyondAutism’s digital strategy, ensuring all online content and campaigns support the organisation’s strategic goals. Channel ownership and development

• Develop and execute a digital and content strategy that aligns with BeyondAutism’s overall marketing objectives.

My client is seeking someone with Higher Education management experience in admissions and is offering a role with work-life balance! This is a busy period of clearing and enrolments so you will be required for a minimum 2-month period. As an Admissions Manager, you'll provide vital support to the Head of Admissions, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the Admissions team, and ensuring all processes are efficient, fair, and customer-focused. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders, manage applicant communications, and ensure compliance with UCAS regulations.

Your new role

• To provide management support to the Head of Admissions around the admissions business process, and in the development and documentation of agreed processes, procedures and policies.
• To take operational management responsibility for student admissions in relation to all applications across the University (FE, UG & PGT & PGR), including the provision of training to admissions practitioners.
• To act as line manager to Admissions Officers.
• To ensure all admissions processes, policies and procedures are being followed throughout the University within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• To have responsibility for the liaison with Programme Directors and Deputy Deans to resolve the legitimacy of rejects, alternative course offers and APEL decisions.
• To regularly generate reports and analysis to inform the progression and development of the admissions team, and to provide ad-hoc statistical analysis when requested from the Head of Admissions or other stakeholders.
• To work closely with the Student Recruitment & Engagement team to ensure a seamless student journey from application to enrolment.
• To develop, manage, monitor and report on applicant communications using the SITS student record system and the CRM system.
• Liaise with colleagues in the Marketing, Communications & Content team to ensure non-entry requirement UCAS Entry Profile information is accurate and reviewed annually.
• To be responsible for monitoring application statistics to ensure that they match application data held in the SITS student record system
• Be responsible for fee status assessment and ensure that the Admissions Team are kept informed on changes to fee status classification and UKVI requirements.
• To act as the main point of contact for the application process with key stakeholders both internally and externally, particularly with feeder schools and colleges with external progression agreements in place (in collaboration with the Partnerships & Engagement Manager, who has responsibility for maintaining feeder school relationships).
• In addition, the Admissions Manager will be responsible for maintaining successful operational relationships between Academic Staff, Registry, Student Services and Finance.
• To act as an ambassador during Open Days and external Marketing & Student Recruitment events on behalf of the university, both within the UK and overseas when required.
• To manage the day-to-day delivery of the admissions process, developing a culture of excellent customer service.
• To develop and monitor agreed customer service standards (e.g. turnaround times, customer journey, application workflows etc.)
• To support the process for developing and agreeing entry criteria, offer-making strategies and communication plans.

About the Investment team

The investment team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our investments in these partners and supporting them to improve and scale their impact.

The investment team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.

The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. About the Investment Manager role

The Investment Manager (IM) works as an integral part of the Investment Team to help deliver our mission – supporting portfolio partners to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. Investment Management

• Working closely with Investment Directors to support portfolio partners across all areas of our work - leadership, impact and sustainability - leading specific work streams like impact and/or financial management.
• Building trust-based relationships with charity leaders including CEOs, delivery staff and Programme / Impact leads, to become a valued advisor on practice improvement.
• Working closely with staff at our partners charities, providing guidance, thought partnership and capacity building.

• Ensure, with the wider Fundraising team, we meaningfully engage different communities with RSF
• Ensure relevant processes and policies are in place to deliver a successful, profitable community fundraising programme
• Oversee the management of fundraising systems, processes, and platforms in order to create the best possible experience for donors and participants
• Develop a robust supporter journey for community fundraisers which leaves them with an excellent supporter experience and generates a lifelong relationship with RSF

To achieve these objectives the post holder will be expected to:

• Plan, budget, attend and coordinate an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity
• Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events and products, make recommendations for improvement, and support decision-making regarding fit of new opportunities for the foundation
• Project Manage the delivery of the community fundraising programme at RSF, leading on activity working group meetings, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure campaigns, activities and events are managed efficiently
• Work closely with the schools lead and school manager to grow our schools fundraising programme – working collaboratively so the training programme objectives are also met
• Develop a long-term growth strategy for Turn Cricket Red – focused on maximising current opportunities as well as diversifying to increase our reach
• Deliver high value supporter stewardship to increase lifetime value and impact of their fundraising
• Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders and seniority, ensuring opportunities for growth are maximised
• Alongside the team, co-ordinate event/activity logistics including but not limited to sales, bookings and liaison with supporters and suppliers, material production, promotion, set up, and delivery
• Oversee relationship with key providers of event fundraising mechanisms such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text to donate services
• Work with colleagues to ensure all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and hosts, and that all stakeholders receive appropriate training/ briefing and post event debriefs
• Work with the Head of MarComms and Digital to produce engaging fundraising collateral and information for event and community supporters including pre and post event communications/marketing collateral, working with external production companies where required
• Ensure all events and activities are compliant with fundraising code of conduct, GDPR and other event processes/policies
• Oversee the use of the CRM system to ensure data is recorded in compliance to Data Protection and GDPR and maximises output for supporter journeys
• Use sector trends and audience analysis to direct strategy and ensure that RSF remains innovative and at the forefront of Community fundraising

What we are looking for:

• Experience of designing and delivering successful Community fundraising events and activities
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills including budget and project management
• Ability to build excellent relationships especially with supporters, partners, ambassadors and suppliers
• Strong team player and project leadership, ensuring clear and regular communication with the RSF team and stakeholders as appropriate
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and maintain a clear head, anticipating risks and problems
• A willingness to adapt and be flexible. There are often new projects, changing priorities, and new processes that you will need to embrace
• Ability to undertake travel, including overnight stays where necessary
• Competent user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience of CRM systems

Desirable

• Experience delivering nationwide community campaigns
• Competent user of client / supporter databases

About the Ruth Strauss Foundation

In early 2018, Ruth Strauss, the wife of Sir Andrew Strauss the former England cricket captain, was diagnosed with an incurable lung cancer that affects non-smokers. Ruth died on December 29th 2018; she was 46 years old and mother to two children, then aged 10 and 13.

About the oppurtunity

The London Programme Coordinator will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to seven partner schools, attending and coordinating weekly tutoring sessions, developing relationships with pupils, school staff and volunteer tutors and collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring sessions to ensure effective and impactful programme delivery.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage and effectively communicate with all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; leading weekly face to face and online tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.

• Responsible for overseeing the quality of both face to face and online tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery.

• Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers.

• Update and maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and end of programme surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators.

Qualifications and experience criteria:

• Experience working with volunteers and/or young people

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Evidence of ability to prioritise and manage administrative tasks

Reports to: London Programme Manager

Salary: £28,639 per annum (£26,368 per annum, plus London weighting of £2,271)

Contract and hours:  Permanent, full time contract (37.5 hours)

About the Role:

As the Educational Partnerships Manager, you will play a vital role in connecting with schools, colleges, and youth clubs across North East London, with a particular focus on those based in the most disadvantaged communities.
