About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon.
To ensure individual supporters are treated in a responsive and respectful way. Also, to support the Fundraising team with the maintenance of records / transactions and assist with the management of MAP's fundraising database: Microsoft Dynamics.
About You
As a Supporter Care & Database Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our supporters, community groups, organisations, media representatives & others who get in touch with MAP directly by phone, email and by post.
You will ensure that data entry into our fundraising database: Dynamics, is accurate and kept up to date, to enable us to steward our supporters effectively.
You will also be responsible for banking donations received at our London office and thanking our wonderful donors.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and is a clear communicator. You’ll understand how important it is for MAP to engage with our supporters effectively to ensure lasting relationships.
Duties and key Responsibilities
Be responsible for responding to supporter enquiries by telephone, letter and email, within our service level agreements. as well as handling outbound supporter care calls and other communications.
• Process donations from multiple income streams, ensuring supporters are thanked according to internal guidelines.
• Maintain supporter and organisational records in our database.
• Using data securely and with best practice data protection principles in line with GDPR.
• Help MAP to maximise return from the Gift Aid scheme by ensuring declarations are added correctly and updated where necessary.
• Develop & maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in & outside of fundraising.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks when necessary, as discussed & agreed with the Supporter Care & Database Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations:

BACKGROUND
The Donor Conception Network is a charity offering support to families (and prospective families) who are using a donor (egg, sperm or embryo) to conceive their children.
This is a really exciting time for the charity and a great moment to join us as we build on our 30th Anniversary last year. We recently launched a new website that has upgraded our online presence, giving you a great new platform to utilise as part of raising awareness of our services and resources. You’ll be working with our excellent digital consultant who knows the charity very well and can support you in delivering your goals. We have great plans for the next few years as part of our strategy, aimed at growing and extending our services and reach. THE ROLE
We are looking for someone to lead our marketing and communications strategy which will enable Donor Conception Network to grow its membership base, raise its profile and develop its other income sources. As marketing manager, you will work to improve and extend our communications with our stakeholders to increase visibility and awareness of the Network’s unique offer and its value. This is a hands-on role, and you will have the support of our current digital consultant.
The marketing manager is responsible for creating and delivering a cohesive marketing and communications strategy that:
- Grows membership, book sales and event bookings;
- Improves communications with our stakeholders to increase visibility and awareness of the Network’s unique offer and value. This includes traditional offline channels but also across our digital platforms too, including Google, social media and email;
- Raises the profile of DCN, strengthens our brand and cements our position as the leading voice for the donor conception community;

- Marketing and communications strategy: create and deliver a marketing and communications strategy including an annual plan and tactics delivery;
- Social media: develop a social media strategy that integrates with the overarching marketing plan.

- Website content management: ensure the DCN website is an effective and persuasive marketing tool. Assess options for additional functionality, and ensure content remains up to date.

About the Opportunity
RI has recently entered into a partnership with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, to implement a four-year project medical supply chain project. This project will focus on building the capacity of 20 local pharmaceutical and medical device suppliers in four countries where Relief International (RI) has existing programming: Afghanistan, Yemen, Myanmar, and Syria.
Providing technical leadership, the project Pharmacy Manager working in close collaboration with the Project Director and project Supply Chain Manager, will support activities of the project deliverables.
Your Responsibilities
This role includes the following responsibilities.
- Lead on national health stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for the project and its sustainability post project (medical regulatory authority, ministry of health, pharmacy associations, public sector medical procurement departments).
- Work with national peer health stakeholders to ensure their understanding, and engagement / support for the project (iNGOs, Health Clusters, aid management partners, UN stakeholders.
- Reach out to other iNGOs active in the project countries to harmonize product portfolios, and develop support for quality standards
- Champion the RI database for medical products including the RI Medical Supply List (MSL), manufacturers, distributors to include relevant quality data about products and suppliers
- Help the Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator on sourcing and verifying medical assurance quality certificates with local suppliers to enable RI to conduct and improve local medical supply procurement
- Support sub-contractor activities as agreed in the sub-contractor agreement, and Collaborating with the Pharmacy advisor, lead in conducting regular reviews and assessments of sub-contractor work and progress and providing inputs into required reports
About You
You will bring the following experience and skills.
- A master's or bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a related field, OR equivalent working experience.
- Proven experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders in challenging environments, and working with large medical supply components in complex contexts
- Track record in project progress monitoring, tracking and reporting, qualitative and quantitative
- Knowledge of donor and other international medical quality assurance standards, and skills with host country institutions, and international organizations.

Key Responsibilities

We are recruiting two Mentoring Project Officers to support the Project Manager in delivering our high-quality 1-year Mentoring Programme that supports young carers aged 14-16 to achieve goals tailored to their needs. Each cohort will be delivered through a combination of 1:1 mentoring and monthly groups with a maximum of 8 mentees and 2 mentors. The programme aims to help the mentees improve their educational attainment, identify routes into further and/or higher education and apprenticeships, increase independence skills, build confidence, access appropriate services, reduce isolation and build resilience.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting young carers to reach their full potential. We do not expect you to have direct experience of mentoring nor working with young carers but we do expect you to have empathy, good listening skills and a strong knowledge of the needs and common challenges of young people aged 14-16 with a desire to make a real difference in their lives.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with community organisations and to generate and maintain steady referrals to the programme. You will be required to assess young carers’ needs and in conjunction with the other Mentoring Project Officer, deliver one-to-one and group support to the mentees, carefully monitoring their progress. Further to this, you will be responsible for responding to safeguarding concerns and maintaining strong professional boundaries.

We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to engage key partners and stakeholders in East Midlands and Cambridgeshire tailoring support, training and education to create suicide safer communities.
What you will do:
· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.
· Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.
· Equip a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.
· Deliver training and raise awareness of products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.
· Contribute to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.
· Contribute to and promote campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Area and Strategic Plans.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities
· A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience
· Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience
· Experience of using own initiative and creativity to develop a project, programme or area of work
· The ability to travel to different locations across West Midlands, West Mercia and Staffordshire to attend meetings, events and deliver training.
· A degree or professional qualification in Education, Counselling, Training, Psychology, Community Development or Youth Work

As the Fundraising and Development Manager, you will take the lead on fundraising as part of this small organisation. You will steward, support and strengthen their existing portfolio of Trust and Corporate donors as well as developing new relationships and new income to support this organisation’s mission. This organisation has influential partners, supporters and Trustees to help drive this activity and your CEO is an experienced fundraiser who sees income growth as a priority and will provide both strategic and practical support.
To be successful, you will be an excellent relationship builder at all levels. We're looking for someone creative, strategic and organised as well as being a confident and effective communicator and a strong team player. Ideally you have a track record of driving new donor engagement and securing sustainable multi-year funding from Trusts, Corporates and/or High Net Worth Individuals. You’ll have good experience in at least one of these areas of fundraising and will demonstrate sound knowledge where your direct experience might be more limited.
