This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Norfolk and Suffolk team to help support the growth of our services. You will be working closely with our SEN and Mental Health and Wellbeing teams as well as the Operational Manager to deliver high quality and innovative services to families and communities.

Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a mental health or SEN environment in a people management role.  You will need to be a team player but able to work autonomously as well and have the ability to prioritise workload and deadlines.

You will need to think creatively with an understanding of funding and contractual requirements, which vary greatly over 7 different projects.  You will be an excellent communicator with a good sense of humour.

Our teams are currently spread across Norfolk and West Suffolk so you will need to be able to travel independently around the counties with your main base being in our Swaffham office, although some home working may be required.

Main Requirements

· To oversee the for the planning, management and delivery of all services, ensuring that KPIs and CIPs are fully met.

· To work closely with the Operational Manager to ensure quality delivery of services provided the Norfolk/Suffolk team,  staff and volunteers.

· To develop and review the practice wheels and Logic Models that outlines the structure and research basis of the service. To engage with the Family Action Communities of Practice, roadshows and other internal opportunities to ensure strategic aims and objectives are constantly developing.

· To ensure a high standard of quality assurance and professional practice across the staff, through clinical and line management supervision, case audits, the use of MIR, Scorecard and Service Level Reports drawing upon data, and provision of training opportunities.

· Support Operational Manger to explore and identify areas of service needs across Norfolk and Suffolk and to build network and integrational working partnerships to support this.

· To be instrumental in shaping the future of the services both in Norfolk and Suffolk as well as part of the wider Central Team.

· Be responsible for the overall management, mentoring and support of Service Coordinators and, where needed, other staff.

· Deliver Family Action’s formal Annual Appraisal process for all workers, either ‘parenting’ or ‘grandparenting’ as required.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join SJA’s Bid Team, managing and producing tender responses across a variety of business areas including Commercial Training, First Aid and Health & Safety Supplies, Events, Urgent & Emergency Care, and other services. The role of the Bid Manager is to support the organisation in achieving revenue targets, business growth and strategic objectives through managing the Bid process and ensuring completion of high-quality tenders within the stipulated timeframes. About the Role 

Manage the Bid Management process, ensuring all bid documents meet deadlines and have undergone appropriate levels of scrutiny. Chairing and organising bid kick off meetings with internal stakeholders. You will need to feed the information into the Bid Writer in a timely and organised fashion and ensure all bids are of consistent high quality to meet the customer or commissioner’s expectations.

• You will also, where required, need to lead on writing, creating and preparing expressions of interest, prequalification questionnaires, ITT responses and standalone proposals and presentations working closely with operational/technical specialists within the organisation & ambulance operation to ensure excellence in quality, accuracy and presentation
• Lead on the creation and support bid presentations; including the preparation through to participation of delivery to key decision makers
• Maintain the Bid library working with functions and the operation to collate relevant, up to date supporting information for proposals, ensuring its accuracy and accessibility
• Complete the bid/no bid tool and agree with relevant key stakeholders to ensure any tenders are aligned with both the relevant departments strategy, operational capability e.g. skills, vehicles and capacity

• Managing and developing the Together Trust’s policy and campaigns strategy in line with the Trust’s strategic long-term plan.

John Lyon’s Charity is delighted to be recruiting for a Grants Manager to join its dynamic Grants Team. This is an exciting time to join the Charity as it embarks on a new chapter of our strategic objectives in grant giving. The Grants Manager will be responsible for their own portfolio of grants as well as supporting the Grants Directorate with the development and execution of the Charity’s strategic objectives to maximise the benefit of the Charity’s funding.

The Grants Manager will be responsible for end-to-end grant-making; assessing applications, making recommendations and monitoring of a portfolio of grants. The grants will be broad in range from smaller, single year grants under the School Holiday Activity Fund to multi-year, large grants within the Open Grants Programme. The role holder will work closely with other members of the Grants Team, including the Directors, to support learning, develop special initiatives and contribute to the creation of policy and processes. The role will suit someone with previous grant-making experience who is seeking to develop their expertise in place-based grant-making and/or the CYP sector. Given the nature of the existing portfolio, experience of working with cultural organisations and education settings would be a particular benefit.

Overall purpose

The Philanthropy Manager will manage and steward a portfolio of funders and donors – across trusts and foundations, statutory sources and major donors – to secure annual and multi-year gifts in support of Breaking Barriers’ vision. As well as managing relationships with our existing donors there will be a focus on creating new relationships through proactive prospecting and developing a long-term strategic approach to stewardship and relationship development.

You will be an ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic, and autonomous fundraiser with a demonstrable passion for supporting people from a refugee background. You will have a strong track record of high-value relationship management and fundraising, ideally specialising in Trusts, Statutory, Major Donor fundraising or a related area. We are looking for someone who can successfully secure and steward gifts of 5 figures and above – so evidence of stewarding high-value relationships and high-quality written skills are key. You will collaborate with additional fundraisers across Trusts, Statutory, Corporate and Major Gifts to coordinate approaches and maximise opportunities across all functions.

As Shop Manager, you'll be the heart and soul of our Stourbridge store, driving sales, fostering community connections, and ensuring our shop thrives. Your responsibilities include: 

• Working towards sales targets and maximising profits. 
• Building strong community ties.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, delivering exceptional service and representing Blue Cross with pride.
• Keeping things running smoothly with efficient paperwork, accurate data management, and adherence to retail standards.
• Maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring our shelves are always full of treasures for our customers.
• Liaising with our furniture collection and delivery partners.

Now, let's talk about your team. We're fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers who are the lifeblood of our shops. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and supporting these amazing individuals to ensure our shop runs smoothly and efficiently.
 
Our shop is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 til 17:00. Your normal working pattern may change each week, subject to the needs of the business and the levels of staff and volunteers available to work and will involve a significant element of weekend working.

Given the nature of the role, there may be some lone working, and flexibility to support other shops when needed is essential. As this position involves handling furniture, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting, while working within our strict health and safety guidelines.

For this varied and busy role of Events Manager we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills. You will be used to working across a number of projects and be able to prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively in this part time role. You will have experience at managing and coordinating events and be able to pick up administrative and IT processes quickly. It is essential to have excellent attention to detail. The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a national bereavement charity founded 55 years ago, providing peer support and information to bereaved parents and families, whose child has died from any age (from one month old to an adult son or daughter) and from any cause. We are passionate about offering a range of supportive events for bereaved parents and adult siblings and online groups for parents in specific circumstances and adult siblings. This is a new role which will be instrumental in setting us up well to grow income from major donors over the coming years. The Philanthropy Manager will build relationships and secure funding from high-net-worth individuals, working closely with the Director of Philanthropy, CEO, and a newly established fundraising committee to develop this area of fundraising. Stoll is the lead provider of housing and support services in the Veterans sector.  Founded in 1916, Stoll has provided a sanctuary to help Veterans rebuild their lives for over 100 years. We are currenty undertaking a major transformation programme across all of our operations, including, but not limited to, resource identification across our services, reviewing software use, realigning workflows across our infrastructure, whilst upgrading systems and improving processes. The newly formed Finance & Business Services team is seeking to fill the Business Services Manager position as part of this growth. 

The role will be hybrid and flexible by agreement in keeping with the charity’s workflow patterns. Please note that the hours for this role will be Monday-Friday, 35hrs per week.
