This role is to deliver a co designed menu of support, in collaboration with The National Autistic Society, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust, and Barnardo’s. The practitioner will provide impactful, school-based support to parents and carers of children and young people, and offer consultancy, professional training and advice to school staff, school-based needs teams and system wide partners. The aim is to improve the knowledge and confidence of those supporting children, young people and their families with additional and potentially neurodivergent needs, at an early stage. 

The role will predominantly involve working within the organisations focus areas within Surrey (Waverley, Surrey Heath and Runnymede), but at times will require travel across Surrey, so access to a car is essential. 

Responsibilities  

• ·To actively encourage and facilitate collaborative ways of working with all stakeholders. 
• To be proactive in terms of outreach to enable all parents to access the service, especially those  families who may be deemed as hard to reach. 
• To be able to manage own diary and ensure effective use of time across the variety of tasks within the role. 
• To be responsible for contacting and arranging all consultations and training sessions, carrying out corresponding administrative tasks with all stakeholders 
• To work collaboratively with schools and to support them in identifying training needs. 
• ·Providing case-based consultations to schools and professionals within Cluster teams. 
• ·To attend fortnightly cluster meetings. 
• ·Where possible, to involve children, young people and their parents/carers in the co-production of programmes, activities and services. 
• To deliver a place-based programme of support to parents and carers in schools, within the clusters in which you are based. 
• To achieve contractual targets and use agreed systems for outcomes and reporting.

In this exciting and varied strategic and operational role, you will develop and implement a marketing, communications and external affairs strategy that incorporates various impactful communications campaigns and projects that promote and protect King’s Trust International and The King’s Group, increasing our brand awareness and support of our work with young people nationally and globally.

You will lead on communications for King’s Trust International, overseeing our marketing activities and growth of our digital channels as well as working collaboratively with The King’s Group providing leadership support and guidance on various events and campaigns, ensuring our brand and communications are culturally tailored and inclusive.

Main Role & Responsibilities

Ygam is seeking an Insight and Innovation Officer to join our Insight and Innovation team. The post holder will work with the Head of Insight and Innovation, supporting with research, knowledge translation, evaluations and insights into children and young people’s experiences of gaming and gambling harms.

Our Insight & Innovation team aids the design and delivery of Ygam’s strategy by supporting evidence-based decision making. By working across the charity to leverage and disseminate internal and external insight, the team enables intelligent decision-making and strengthens the organisation’s understanding of the world in which it operates.

We are looking for an Insight and Innovation Officer to work collaboratively with the Head of Insight & Innovation, and teams from across the organisation to deliver research and stakeholder insight workstreams. The outputs from these workstreams will guide, challenge and provide practical support for the planning, long-term development, and effective delivery of Ygam’s strategic ambitions.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional judgement and good stakeholder management skills. They must also be a proactive, adaptable, and creative individual, who has the ability to work remotely, autonomously and as part of a team. Duties will include but not be limited to:

Research, insight and knowledge translation:

· Support the commissioning and managing of research activities and collaborations.

· Develop longitudinal research to understand programme impact on our beneficiaries.

· Keep abreast of current and future developments in gaming and gambling harm prevention, critically appraising these and summarising them as part of our knowledge translation function.

· Liaise with the External Affairs team to support the creation of accessible learning pieces for knowledge translation across the organisation and with internal and external stakeholders.

· Lead on writing articles and reports to disseminate learnings from Ygam’s data collection activities.

· Support the fundraising team with identifying and applying for new funding and grant opportunities directly associated with research and insight work.

· Liaise with IT team to support development of our Research and Insight intranet section.

Evaluations and continuous improvement:

· Support programme evaluations, including support with writing invitations to tender, liaising with Programme Leads and writing up/ dissemination of findings.

· Support programme leads with cycles of continuous improvement.

· Support the programmes team with piloting content and identifying and piloting new technologies.

Engagement and relationships:

· Assist with planning and organising advisory panels and communities of practice meetings and events.

· Support with gap analysis and implementation planning.

· Liaise with IT team to develop and maintain an online community of practice.

 Conferences, events and raising brand reputation:

· Attend and support events, trade shows and conferences.

Summary of the Role

We are commissioned to carry out Quality Checks of support services where people with a disability or mental ill health live, including Supported Living settings, Residential Homes, Day Services, Assessment and Treatment units and individual homes. The purpose of the Quality Checks is to ensure that people who live in these settings are safe, and living healthy, happy and meaningful lives and that the support they receive is appropriate to their needs.

All our Quality Checks involve a Quality Checker (an Expert by Experience) with lived experience of disability or mental ill health working alongside a Quality Checking Coordinator.  On visits, we talk with people living in these settings to gather information regarding their quality of life and the quality of care and support they have.

The Coordinator’s role is to organise the checks and facilitate them on the day, whilst the Expert by Experience asks most of the questions. The Coordinator is responsible for compiling all the information gathered during the Quality Check and producing a report which is shared with the Provider and Commissioners. The Coordinator also has line management responsibility for a small number of the quality checkers on the team.

THE ROLE

This role has a central part to play in the excellent stewardship of our community, which sits at the heart of all we do. We are a public-facing team and the postholder will be the first point of contact for enquiries within our office and therefore requires good interpersonal and communication skills.

You will have responsibility for maintaining excellent standards of data accuracy, creating reports and insights to inform our development strategies, and contribute to the stewardship of our supporters.

The post would suit someone who enjoys working with and analysing data, and who can translate the numbers into a narrative. You will have excellent IT skills attention to detail, and will be comfortable in working with databases and with packages such as Microsoft Excel.

The role is a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO to ensure the smooth delivery of LAG’s publications and events. As LAG is at the heart of the social justice community, the successful candidate will work closely with our partner organisations including leading law firms, chambers, community advice organisations and NGOs.

Working for an independent book publisher, the Events and Communications Coordinator will be involved in the day to day running of publications and work with our editor and authors.

This is an exciting time to be joining LAG as we are moving to more digital formats and looking towards disseminating wider knowledge and campaigning within the legal community and society. Oasis’ work and mission has grown rapidly in the last decade. We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to help us move into our next phase of growth and build the capacity of our Oasis Operations Team. 

This is a new and integral position in our charity, so you will need solid employee relation experience and employment law knowledge, to advise managers confidently. Working as part of the established Operations Team, you will also input into finance and budgets, recruitment at senior levels, and developing our policies in line with our ethos and 9 Habits. As a member of the ‘Training Ground’ project, we want you to engage with young people and enable them to reach their full potential with education, training, and employment (ETE) opportunities.

As an Employment Mentor you will help the young people to develop their skills, confidence and offer them guidance when entering the workplace.

The Training Ground programme uses the power of the club’s badge to engage with young people in the community. The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions and access to wraparound support, including physical activity sessions, employability and life skills sessions.

The programme will provide an opportunity for targeted groups of young people not currently in education, training or employment in Merton and Kingston to access training and work experience to enable them to gain the skills and confidence to gain employment.

Barnardo's Forest of Dean and Gloucester City are looking for a part-time Administrator/Front of House to work across our Locality. Barnardo's deliver a Targeted Family Support Service, working with young people and families with children aged 0-11 years old on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council.

• The successful candidate would need to have excellent computer skills, a good working knowledge of MS Office products and the ability to learn software with training.
• They should have good organisational and communication skills and the work will be varied to support our wonderful staff and to meet the needs of a very busy service.
