We are currently seeking a motivated and confident individual with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills who is looking for an opportunity with real agency to help lead the next phase of development of our growing staff team in the new role of operations manager.
Working with the executive director you will take a proactive approach to ensuring that the policies and practices of APT not just meet legislative requirements but push the boundaries of best practice and play a central role in maintaining and developing a strong and vibrant workplace culture. Building on existing practices you will look to introduce new or improved policies that centre the wellbeing of staff. You will manage the people and culture budget to deliver a creative and thoughtful package of benefits and development opportunities for all employees. You will help deliver an annual EDI programme and organise an annual all staff workshop with a view to fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration. You will also support the organisation by delivering key functions across finance, governance, and office management.

Main responsibilities
People & culture
· Working with the executive director to take a proactive approach to ensuring that the policies and practices of APT not just meet legislative requirements but push the boundaries of best practice to create a positive work environment

The Strategic Director (SD) will serve as a key leader within New Wine, collaborating closely with the Operations Director and reporting to the National Leader. Role Particulars:
Working Pattern: This is a full-time position, requiring two day per week in London, typically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Due to the nature of this role, some travel and periods of working away from home will be necessary, as agreed in advance. The Strategic Director must be available for the annual leadership conference and the New Wine Festival, including the setup and teardown of these events.
Supervision: The post holder will receive regular supervision from their line manager to ensure ongoing support and development.
Role review: There is a three-month probationary period for this role. Following this, the post holder will undergo a quarterly rolling review of performance, the role, job description, terms, and package.

About Us
Street Support Network is a small, impactful charity that helps over 30 locations in the UK in their responses to homelessness.
Lead organisations in these locations pay us to host and maintain a localised online directory of services and advice. This is where most of our income comes from.
We also work offline, connecting people in local areas to co-produce better solutions, facilitate conversations and co-ordinate action.
About the Role
This interim role will play a pivotal part in the future of the charity by leading the team and our network of local partnerships to support those experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
This high-impact role requires an independent and strategic leader who can balance managing existing partnerships with identifying and cultivating new opportunities and exploring options for a sustainable future for the charity.
We anticipate this role is needed initially for a six- month period to complete an options appraisal for the future. A longer-term appointment is possible, depending on the outcome of the appraisal.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, leadership, and the ability to contribute to both short-term and long-term strategic goals.

About the Responsibilities
Manage existing SSN locations:
- Manage relationships with existing locations and strengthen engagement with them, ensuring they receive tailored support and we receive maximum income.
- Use our CRM system to track partnership engagement, including relationship status, history and payments. This will likely include engaging with partners regarding outstanding payments.
- Host and facilitate quarterly online network events to encourage collaboration amongst SSN locations. Support our locations with managing their data integrity. This will include recruiting and managing volunteers. Measure and report on impact using Theory of Change and other metrics, both internally and for our partners. Be responsive to enquiries from potential new partnerships.
Support the Street Support Network Team:
- Provide appropriate support and direction to the two team members.
- Host and lead regular team meetings to ensure communication, engagement and collaboration.
- Meet regularly with Chair of Trustees and Finance Advisor. Prepare Reports for Trustees and attend Trustee meetings to present advice and support actions agreed.
Income Maximisation and Fundraising:

Operations Manager Job Description
The effective management of the operational running of The Greenhouse at Barnes Close across three key areas:
1. Guest experience: Implementing the booking process, liaising with the Housekeeper and managing guest experience
2. Financial management: Managing day-to-day finances and working to a budget
3. Building maintenance: Managing the property maintenance and liaising with contractors
Key tasks
1. Guest experience
• Guide guests through the booking process from enquiry, booking forms, invoicing and payment to arrival
• Oversee guest experience before, during and after the visit. Improving and refining systems where necessary and responding to guest feedback
• Liaise with the Housekeeper regarding the cleaning schedule to ensure good upkeep of the house
• Be available for on-call duty management approximately once a month and at other occasional times.
2. Financial management
• Manage the finances, ensuring good financial management practices are maintained and using Quickbooks and Xero software. Ensure budgets are adhered to, and quarterly financial reports are prepared.
• Liaise with the external accountant as required to ensure payroll is completed each month and end of year accounts are prepared.
3. Building maintenance
• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance schedule of the property including managing the workflow of the Maintenance Operative and arranging contractors as required
• Oversee property services, contracts and annual checks
• Carry out regular hands-on practical tasks essential to the running of the property, such as measuring fuel, setting heating, carrying out fire alarm tests, ordering stock as required

ROLE OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure AzuKo’s operations and programme delivery are implemented efficiently and effectively.

About the Role
This is the primary role with responsibility for the delivery and assurance of core digital, data, technology, and related functions at the Royal College of Anaesthetists, at both a strategic and implementation level. • Bring together the data, monitoring and evidence held by Norfolk Wildlife Trust or other bodies to inform our countywide strategy to restore nature at scale
• Co-ordinate with others to ensure that our work across the Trust, including our positions and polices, is evidence-led and credible
Person specification
Essential:
•Proven experience and ability in organisational leadership and team management
• A demonstrable ability and attitude to work corporately and cooperatively as a member of the Strategic Leadership Team
• An effective leader of change, improving the effectiveness of teams and individuals, building skills, capability and capacity
• Sound understanding and technical knowledge of ecology and wildlife conservation issues and methods as they apply to Norfolk’s wildlife habitats
• Excellent, proven relationship building skills at a senior level
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A commercial, entrepreneurial and innovative mindset to deliver projects using new funding mechanisms
• A strong commitment to nature conservation and the work of Norfolk Wildlife Trust
• A high degree of competence in the use of IT systems and information management
• Good numeracy and experience in the compilation and coordination of complex budgets
• Good written and oral presentation skills and experience, including the ability and confidence to engage a variety of audiences, press and media
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Preparedness to work unsociable hours including occasional evening and weekend work attending meetings and achieving deadlines
• Current driving licence
Desirable:
• Knowledge of green finance solutions and natural capital markets
