The Role

As the right hand to our CEO, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the Executive Office and supporting the Board’s administrative functions.

Responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive, including managing correspondence, reports, research, and confidential information with discretion.
• Act as the Chief Executive’s point of contact, handling inquiries, correspondence, and following up on actions.
• Manage the Chief Executive’s complex diary, ensuring meetings are well-prepared and organise related logistics, including venue bookings, hospitality and materials.
• Support the Chair and Non-Executive Board members with diary management, administrative tasks, and travel arrangements.
• Prepare briefing notes, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions for Board and Executive meetings, supporting both the Chief Executive and Non-Executive Board members.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a seasoned Executive Assistant, qualified in Business Administration to HND equivalent level or above, and with considerable experience providing full support at the highest levels of an organisation. You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders with ease. With a high level of autonomy, you’ll demonstrate exceptional integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

You’ll be proactive, able to anticipate the needs of the Chief Executive, and adaptable to the fast-paced demands of the role. Previous experience working with Boards including preparing papers, report writing and servicing high-level meetings (including taking minutes) is essential. You’ll also have strong diary management skills, with the ability to plan ahead and handle multiple priorities.

Please be aware that the expectation is that you will work from our Birmingham Head Office a minimum of 4 days per week, with the remaining day worked remotely.

Founded in 2007, Electric Storm Youth (ESY) is a youth work charity based in Lancing, West Sussex. We run a full range of youth-based programmes, including young carers support, mental health counselling, general youth sessions, LGBTQ+ sessions, street-based (detached) youth work, mentoring and work-experience.

ESY currently support around 200 young people by working to improve their personal and social development, teaching them new skills, and improving the quality of their lives.

The Management Accountant will be a key part of the operations, reporting to the Director of Finance to provide financial management information across the charity. This is a full-time position, across 33.5 hour week (mainly based in their London office, with some WFH).
 
This is a hands-on finance position where you will be responsible for a small finance team, ensuring all financial processes and procedures are run efficiently and effectively to trial balance, to ensure the timely production of management reports for Trustee Boards. This will include timely delivery of month end reconciliations, management of expenses and payments to suppliers and debtor control, responsibility for all payrolls and taking charge of the year-end financial reporting cycle for all organisations. 
 
In addition to this you will, prepare monthly trial balance reconciliations ensuring accuracy and timely reporting, proactively support and line manage the finance team, ensuring that they are fully skilled to meet their personal objectives and proactively develop and improve financial systems to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
 
The successful candidate will be a qualified finance professional with the ability to address with a variety of financial requirements with confidence. You will have the ability to line manage the finance team, ensuring they have the required support for the finance team to operate efficiently. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to deliver complex information to a variety of stakeholders across the organisation. Finally, you will strong analytical and technical skills with a keen eye for operational improvement.

The role

This role will be a key leader in the Student Wellbeing Services (SWS) team, whose vision is for students to get the right support at the right time so that they may thrive at university. This means that we recognise the intrinsic relationship between personal wellbeing and academic success. We work with a ‘student first’ ethos within an information, advice and guidance model. Leadership of this service involves a strengths focused, collaborative mindset which can support a large team of skilled staff through instances of high stakes, complex systems management.

The role is one of two Senior Managers, leading on all aspects of operations within the Student Wellbeing Service, managing a group of casework managers and reporting to the Assistant Director of Student Wellbeing. The service is undergoing a phase of transformation to ensure quality, consistency and accessibility for our student community and is located within a multi-layered, ambitious higher educational environment. Additionally, the post holder has unique oversight of and responsibility for student safeguarding and critical educational welfare processes.

What will you be doing?

Taking the lead in reviewing insights and evaluating the quality of our services, using evidence-based analysis to enhance SWS performance and identify opportunities for development. We are recruiting a permanent HR Business Partner role, for a well-known non-profit organisation, to be based either in London or York, with up to two days office presence required. Reporting into the Deputy Director for HR Operations and joining at team of 4 HR Business Partners, this role will be a combination of HR Business Partnering, with a context of change management and organisational transition - so some experience of working within a change environment would be highly desirable.

Job Summary
Return Fundraising is looking for an experienced Data Manager to lead the team responsible for overseeing all data services within the business. In this role, you will ensure that data is collected, stored, processed, and reported accurately and efficiently to support exceptional telephone fundraising.

The Data Manager plays a critical role in data compliance, processing, and analysing client data. During campaigns, the team produces exports to clients and third party suppliers, including payment processors and fulfilment houses, and supports the fundraising team to improve the fundraising results using data analysis and segmentation.

You’ll need to be experienced in data management, proficient with databases and Excel, and it would be advantageous to have familiarity with reporting tools and processing software.

Our preference is a hybrid role, working from home with 2 days a week in our London office, however consideration will be given to candidates who live further afield and are looking for a fully remote based position.

Consideration will also be given to a part time role of pro rata 32 hours per week over four days.

Hospice at Home’s core service is its skilled team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who provide exceptional care and support in people’s last year of life and at end of life, also providing additional services such as Lymphoedema, Bereavement and Family Support, Befriending, Occupational Therapy and Complementary Therapy.

We provide individualised care and support to improve quality of life and our end of life care helps facilitate a peaceful and dignified death in the home and support to those who are bereaved.

Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 85% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families. Our Fundraising team plays a huge part in raising these vital funds.

The Role:
As our Supporter Engagement Manager, you will work to ensure that SPANA provides its supporters and external stakeholders with the best-possible experience of the charity. While line-managing the Supporter Engagement team, your work will range from ensuring SPANA donations and post are compliantly processed, to
co-ordinating responses to enquiries, comments and complaints via post, phone and online. You will also manage the development and delivery of SPANA’s community fundraising programme.

This role will suit a dynamic, agile individual who recognises the importance of customer care and has the ambition to build SPANA’s position as a centre of excellence in supporter engagement.

Supporter Engagement

- Ensure all donations and enquiries are acknowledged appropriately, professionally and within agreed timeframes/our service level agreement, in order to maximise supporter and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage the operation of SPANA’s PO Box and London mailing points, ensuring all post is compliantly processed, recorded and scanned.
- Manage the SPANA FAQs, standard enquiry responses and thank you letters to be used by the team.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it. 

Location: Crisis Skylight London, 50-52 Commercial St, E1 6LT. There may also be a need for some UK travel. Some working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy however onsite presence is a key requirement of this role – with a minimum of four days per week at the London Skylight. 

About the role

The Structured Coaching team, work within a Lead Worker model, collaboratively working with members to create pathways out of homelessness, empowering members to achieve their goals and equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to continue this beyond their time with Crisis. 

You will lead a team of experienced Operations Managers and Lead Workers to continue to drive the outcomes our members deserve. The team have consistently hit outcomes for the past few years, and we want to drive that further forward through our new strategic goals impacting our members and the communities around us. 

As Head of Structured Coaching, you will be part of the Crisis Skylight London leadership team, empowering and enabling staff to constructively contribute to, develop and achieve the aims and objectives of the service. You will also identify and develop opportunities for effective partnerships work, so that our members have strong pathways to the community-based specialist services and support they need as part of their journey out of homelessness.

We are delighted to introduce this job opportunity at the Culture Trust Luton for a 0.5 Project Manager. Through a successful funding application to The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we have been awarded £177,513 funding to deliver a Resilience project called ‘Reconnect’. This multi-faceted project explores the Trust’s customer services, sites and operations. There is also funding to deliver events and consultations as well as creative activities to promote engagement and volunteering. The Project also has a budget for making operational improvements that have been identified through the project.

We seek an experienced Project Manager to draw together the delivery of this project, coordinate specialist consultants, creatives and community groups and work with the Culture Trust Team on exploring and embedding change.We are a progressive, Luton-based, arts and cultural charity with a mission to connect communities through culture and creativity. We welcome 250,000 people across the year to our stunning heritage sites; the Hat Factory Arts Centre, Hat District creative workspaces, Wardown House Museum and Gallery, and Stockwood Discovery Centre. The Reconnect Project will work across all our functions, but there will be a particular focus on Stockwood Discovery Centre for community activities and volunteering. 

The role

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, as Chief Executive you will oversee the Trust’s operations, champion its mission and ensure its influence and impact. You will provide inspirational leadership and provide clear direction, engaging members, supporters, staff, stakeholders and volunteers for the effective delivery of the Trust's charitable objectives whilst ensuring that all Trust activities are legally compliant and executed to the highest standard.

As Chief Executive, you will develop and oversee our Strategy, setting long-term goals and ensuring that activities align with the Trust's vision and values. You will prioritise being impactful, collaborative, united and proactive in all aspects of the Trust's work. Through the Senior Management Team and dedicated combined workforce of employees and volunteers, you will ensure that the Trust's vision and goals are achieved through a culture that enables a high performing, high impact workforce, that inspires passion and commitment towards wildlife conservation.

Advocacy is a key aspect of your role, building and nurturing relationships with external stakeholders, such as landowners, local authorities, businesses and government agencies, to promote wildlife-friendly policies and establish meaningful partnerships.
