About us
Who we are
We are a Community Venue based in Barnard Castle, County Durham. We manage a Community Building that houses a range of performance spaces, creative spaces, community rooms and outdoor areas. We employ a small team of staff who specialise in Community Engagement and Support. We also work with over 100 volunteers, who deliver our objectives alongside our employees. We work in Partnership with local, regional and national charities to get the best support for our service users and raise the profile of Community Support.

Our Vision: To exist in a community with good quality, affordable and attainable resources and opportunities. To run a community business with autonomous employees and volunteers, who are led by community needs and share the workload fairly across the whole team.
