Animals Asia is delivering a major Business Process Transformation Project at an important moment in our global growth. We are seeking an experienced consultant or freelancer to lead the technical delivery and management of this work, helping us redesign core fundraising processes and build long-term capability across our global Supporter Engagement function.

This role will support operational transformation across all areas of Supporter Engagement, including Gift Processing, Data and Insight, Communications, Individual Giving, Supporter Care, Technology and Philanthropy.

The Role

We are looking for a consultant who can turn ambition into action by reducing operational debt, tackling manual processes, and creating scalable, efficient ways of working. This is a hands-on role, working directly with teams across the organisation to design, test and implement new business processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transform core fundraising business processes

• Map current (“as is”) processes, supporter journeys and touchpoints
• Identify inefficiencies and design future-state (“to be”) workflows aligned with transformation goals
• Apply process improvement methodologies to streamline operations
• Create clear documentation for all redesigned processes and workflows
• Work closely with the Head of Technology to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Test, refine and support implementation of new processes with stakeholders

2. Project manage and champion a process-led approach

• Act as project lead, following our internal project governance approach
• Plan and facilitate workshops to gather requirements, assess options and develop process models
• Support organisational change with communication planning and stakeholder engagement

• Encourage collaboration to ensure new processes are embedded and sustainable

3. Build long-term process management capability

• Recommend tools and technology to support ongoing process management

You’ll collaborate with teams across Individual Giving, Communications, Supporter Care, Data, Technology, and Insights and Programs to bring stories to life and run campaigns that motivate supporters to act. We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team on a fixed-term 14 month contract (maternity cover). 

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the management and delivery of our challenge events, special events and community fundraising streams, but the post-holder would also be expected to regularly support activities across our corporate partnerships, individual giving and Family Fundraising streams of fundraising too.

Event Management

• Oversee the shaping of and support the Stewardship Manager on the delivery of a simplified, effective individual giving programme aligned with NHS Charities Together’s strategic priorities, with a focus on the retention and upgrade of existing donors and avoiding competing with our members.
• Ensure individual donors are regularly engaged and asked for appropriate cash gifts through a light-touch programme.
• Ensure that legacy messaging is prominent in the donor engagement cycle, to inspire existing donors to consider long-term support, aligned with their gratitude to the NHS, with appropriate pathways offered.
• Oversee prompt, accurate, and heartfelt thanking processes for all donations.
• Manage the welcome journey for unsolicited donations, and oversee the cost-effective management of existing commitments for community or events-based activity to ensure a return
• Lead stewardship for donors giving up to £25,000.

Sector Fundraising Support

• Champion sector-wide change by equipping member charities with scalable, plug-and-play fundraising products and strategic guidance that enhances their income generation capacity through individual giving, working closely with the engagement team.
• Oversee the development of support the Products Manager on the rollout of replicable or white-label fundraising products, starting with the roll-out of a lottery and legacy product, and on the development of campaigns (e.g. focused on grateful patients).

They are now seeking a Senior Fundraising Manager to refine, structure and scale their fundraising strategy for the next phase of growth.

Reporting to the Founder/Director, this is a strategic and hands-on leadership role with significant scope to shape direction and drive sustainable income growth.

Key aspects of the role:

AVP Britain (AVPB) is one of multiple independent branches which operate around the globe. A registered national charity, AVP Britain is committed to a world where everyone has the courage and capacity to manage conflict non-violently.

We provide experiential workshops in-person and online; and distance learning courses which give people the necessary skills to navigate conflict non-violently and empower them to build better relationships.

AVPB is a small but impactful charity with a long history of working in communities and prisons across the UK.  We are entering an important next phase in our development and are seeking a Charity Director who can provide strategic and operational leadership, strengthen our financial sustainability, increase our visibility and impact across the communities we serve, and steward our mission with clarity and care.

The Charity Director is the leader of our charity and is the most senior paid role within AVPB.  The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s present and future.

Overview

High energy costs are a nightmare for millions of UK households, while huge profits are made at our expense. Poor housing and heating systems are a key part of the problem, along with dependence on polluting, climate-changing fossil fuels. FPA is a campaigning organisation that sets out to attack the root causes of fuel poverty along with the specific injustices facing people and communities. We want to see the UK’s energy system decarbonised as rapidly as possible, with a just transition for communities and workers that includes affordability. 

Working closely with pensioners groups, trades unions, disabled campaigners, tenants’ organisations and others on the frontline of fuel poverty, we’re using protest and direct action to fight for real, sustainable solutions to the cold homes crisis. We are looking for a committed operations person and fundraiser who shares our passion and values, to oversee systems and processes which support our strategy and core team to do their best work.

About the role

Fuel Poverty Action (FPA) was started in 2011 by climate activists who wanted to ensure that the green energy transition doesn’t happen at the expense of those with less social and economic power. Rather, they saw the break with fossil fuels as an opportunity to end the scourge of fuel poverty in the UK - a chance to rethink priorities and design inequality out of the energy system.

We are seeking a new, well-organised Operations Lead to slot into this structure, to take care of administrative and operational functions and support the Directors with fundraising: bids, budgets and reports, managing relationships with funders and cultivating a donor pipeline.

This role would suit someone familiar with the operational and HR elements of running a company or organisation, somebody with management experience who is caring and collaborative and comfortable juggling a varied workload.

Critically, we are seeking someone who shares our political vision, as reflected in the Energy For All manifesto (link in attachment). 

Key responsibilities

• Administration: Managing the email inbox; maintaining up to date contacts and mailing lists; developing and refining systems, processes and platforms to support internal and campaign activities.
• Information management: Ensuring high standards of record keeping, data protection and secure information storage across the organisation, enabling staff and members to share and access resources and know-how. 
• Fundraising: Creating and implementing a three-year fundraising plan; managing existing donor relationships and completing reports; working with directors/fundraising volunteers on grant bids and budgets.
• Line management: Providing light touch management for at least one colleague.
• HR functions: Overseeing recruitment and onboarding of new staff and freelancers, overseeing HR policies and contracts, identifying training needs and opportunities.
• Strategic thinking: Inputting into FPA’s long and short term strategic plans, with an eye to the setting and monitoring of appropriate targets.
• Writing and editing: Including overseeing the production of our Annual Report.
• Events: Organising online and in-person events and meetings, including annual strategy days and a 2026 conference.

Compensation Policy 

We’ll compensate team members on the following basis:

• All salaried team members are contracted on the same terms and conditions

• We have a 30 hour week maximum for all team members - most commonly worked as 4 x 7.5 hour days

• Team members are paid an equitable and sustainable compensation rate which is the pro rate equivalent to a full-time (5 day) salary of £40-45,000, regardless of role or level of experience

• Our compensation rates have been set following Platform’s best practice Social Justice Waging System:

• Band 1 - No dependents or children and inherited wealth: £32,000

As Director of Housing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all of Life’s supported housing services. Essential

• CIH Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification
