Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced EA/PA to join us as our Executive Assistant to our Executive Directors of Global Programmes for 9 months.

About the role
As the Executive Assistant to our 2 Interim Executive Directors of Global Programmes you will work at the highest levels of the organisation to assist the Executive Directors and the Global Programmes Senior Leadership Team, as well as the Division Operations Department in driving operational delivery.
You will develop and provide a proactive, comprehensive and supportive administration and information service, as well as engaging with people across different teams in the Global Programmes division to support change initiatives and projects when relevant.
In this role, you will:
- PA Support: Planning the Director's diary in line with agreed priorities, initiating and arranging external and internal meetings, handling and prioritising requests for the Directors' time, ensuring relevant papers are available, and follow up actions are seen through. Coordinating the Director's travel arrangements for overseas programme visits and meetings, ensuring that all necessary arrangements / paperwork have been completed. Acting as key point of contact for external and internal enquiries on behalf of the GPD as needed.
- Team Support: Coordinating the effective functioning of the Global Programmes Management and Senior Leadership teams. This will include planning and coordinating meetings; agendas; producing and distributing relevant papers, including the preparation of papers for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board, as well as for the Directors' group discussions in liaison with the Chief Executive's office.
- Internal Communications: Liaising with the Chief Executive, Directors, Trustees and their assistants to facilitate meetings and the flow of information. Building relationships with staff at all levels including divisional and departmental EAs, Team Coordinators, Directors and Senior Managers to problem-solve, negotiate and facilitate on a wide range of issues and ensure tasks are delegated from the Director. Support on the delivery of our Monthly Global Programmes newsletter and Global Programmes divisional meetings as needed.
- Project Management: Working with the Head of Planning, Performance & Operations and the wider Global Programmes Leadership Team to provide project support to key divisional initiatives where relevant.
- Other: in agreement with the Head of Planning, Performance & Operations and the GPD, to perform other responsibilities as may be required from time-to-time to ensure the smooth running of the division and department and to deputise for colleagues as required.
About you
We are looking for candidates who recognise the importance of the EA function and take genuine satisfaction from organising and supporting others.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Senior PA/EA experience in a corporate head office environment or INGO.
- A high level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and databases).
- Excellent organisation and administration skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work for self and others.
- Professional and calm with the ability to think and react quickly in an ever-changing environment, and the ability to meet challenging deadlines while maintaining a rigorous attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly and to manage own workload, often making judgements without close supervision.
- Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with proven ability to tailor communications and adapt style to different voices and audiences.

- Excellent time management skills and experience of complex diary management. The post-holder will need to manage their own time well, and the time of the Executive Director.

Ways of Working:

It is an exciting time to join King’s College Hospital Charity and the Fundraising and Communications Team to support our innovative and ambitious fundraising targets. We recently had our biggest ever team at the 2024 London Landmarks Half Marathon, with 96 runners representing Team King’s and over £85,000 raised for our hospitals. The Great Hospital Hike, our flagship fundraising event, also raised over £160,000 for our hospitals, with our supporters walking the 18-mile route from King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley.
The Supporter Services Assistant is often the first point of contact at the charity for supporters - handling enquiries, processing income, sending out donation thank you letters and supporter materials and mass postal mailings, where required. You will combine excellent supporter care and customer service with administrative efficiency and attention to detail to ensure that the supporter experience is smooth and positive from start to finish. You'll be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately, both over the telephone, via email and letter.
You will use the Access Charity Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to make sure all supporter information is recorded consistently, kept up to date and maintained in accordance with database management procedures. You will work closely with the Database Manager and Senior Fundraising Operations Officer to highlight opportunities for improvements to processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- To give supporters a positive, consistent experience in all their interactions with the Charity, especially in response to enquiries, income handling and donor thanking.
- To ensure that income is recorded accurately and promptly on the CRM database to enable the Finance team to reconcile and correctly allocate income, and the Fundraising team to have financial oversight of their fundraising activities.
- To ensure that supporter records on the CRM database are kept up to date, adding enquiry responses, donation correspondence and amending records where requested by either the supporter, members of the Fundraising & Communications team or wider charity colleagues.

The Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) is a registered charity working with schools, colleges and communities across the country to raise awareness about the Holocaust and its relevance today.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we have recently launched Testimony 360, a brand-new digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students are able to have a personal and conversational experience with a recording of a Holocaust survivor before seeing some of the sites they experienced for themselves using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will help lead the multidisciplinary Testimony 360 team and play a key role in continuing to develop this new and exciting programme – they will project manage all further phases of work, inclusive of research, development, testing and delivery, and support with the day to day running of the programme throughout its first year. Responsibilities
·Lead on all elements of continued project development from planning through to completion of each phase of work, supporting the Deputy Director of Programmes in communicating priorities and timeframes to a highly skilled team in a fast-paced environment.
·Utilize and develop existing project management systems as needed to allow the team to understand the journey from visualisation to creation of a digital educational programme. You will oversee specific workstreams that are already underway, as well as plan for new and additional workstreams which will evolve as the project continues to grow.
·Support the Deputy Director of Programmes with preparations for meetings with a highly engaged project board, whilst maintaining excellent communication with a wide range of supporters, advisors and stakeholders.
·Manage the main contracts, delivering the project to scope and budget. You’ll oversee multiple connected work-streams and ensure they are coordinated according to the overall project brief and programme.
·Work with international and national partners, ensuring regular and collaborative communications, and implementing projects to agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality.
·Pro-actively identify challenges and risks to programme implementation, ensuring these are raised and addressed in an appropriate manner.
·Responsible for monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and ensuring timely and effective reporting across the team, Trustees, and sponsor groups.
·Managing sub-contracts including monitoring finances and expenditure; Tracking both project and programme spending, highlighting potential under/over-spends and proposing solutions.

About the role
Young Lives vs Cancer is seeking a highly skilled Media and PR leader to join them on a consultancy basis for a period of three months. The organisation has undertaken a significant piece of research in partnership with other leading children and young people cancer charities and through this research has been able to identify the areas where there are gaps in the system and in the support available to young people with cancer and their families.
The resulting is a vision that Young Lives vs Cancer, alongside partner organisations, wants the children and young people's cancer sector to own and work towards by 2035 and their new strategy has been designed to work towards this aim. Over the next three years the organisation will focus on building their capacity to guide others to work towards achieving that vision together.
As Media and PR Consultant you will lead on the development of a new media and PR strategy. Your role will include:
- Development of a Media and PR strategy
- Analysis of current media presence as well as of opportunities and challenges in the media landscape, informed by the organisational strategy
- Review of current Media Policy and internal relationships and processes, and to provide an overview of the foundations needed to launch an effective Media and PR strategy
- Review and advise on the future of interdependencies between the Media and PR team and other teams across the organisation
- Review of how media and press activity is captured and monitored
- Analysis of current approach to equipping and supporting young people and families to tell their stories in the media
- Development of an approach to establish a quality group of organisational spokespeople
- Identification of target media outlets and influencers
- Development of media messaging matrix and story angles which support organisational strategy
- Creation of a media content calendar and media outreach plan to support organisational strategy - and to dovetail with other communication calendars
- Integration of activity with Brand and Marketing Communications team - in particular Stories, audience strategy, content review, brand messaging development and system influencing engagement approach.
This is an important and senior level role within Young Lives vs Cancer, joining at an important time for the organisation, and we're keen to hear from senior Media and PR leaders who have:
- Previously worked at a senior level, for example Associate Director / Director level within the charity space and who have experience of building new strategies to support organisational goal delivery;
- Experience of galvanising support for that strategy across an organisation, including within the Senior Management Team

About Us:
Appeer is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to deliver services that support autistic girls and women (and those assigned female at birth) to connect with peers, to develop their life/work skills and to support their wellbeing. We provide in person and online activity groups and programmes, alternative provision, events and resources for those in the community that we serve, their parents/carers and other professionals. We are not a therapeutic setting and as such do not offer clinical support or 1:1 supervision. We were established in 2019 and have since grown rapidly from a small startup to a robust small-medium enterprise with a turnover of £250k and serving well over 400 beneficiaries a year.

Summary of the role

To be successful in the role you will need to be:

- Qualified Salesforce Administrator with proven experience

Main purpose and scope of the role:
Parentkind is a national charity representing 13,000 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and has a long term ambition to be the voice of parents in policy making.
We are looking for someone to support our work in Westminster and Whitehall, improving our relationships across Parliament and inside government as we seek to be the credible voice of parents in UK policy making.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of advocacy and policy research in Westminster, either within Parliament or government. If you have a passion for politics, a background in policy research and an interest in education policy and politics this is the role for you.
The role will involve:
- Conducting research on parents, including polling of parents and their views. We have an ambition to make high quality policy recommendations based on this research.
- Alongside the research requirements of the role, you will be expected to support our political and broader stakeholder engagement activity to make sure the work we do is seen by the right people.
- Organise and plan political events to communicate our research, including roundtables, lunches and dinners and launch events in Westminster.
- Lead on responding to public consultations on behalf of Parentkind to ensure the voice of parents is heard in the public consultations.
