Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for a Portfolio Assurance Manager on a permanent basis to join our new team and oversee our Digital and Technology portfolio of projects.
Our technology portfolio can span over 100 managed activities so the successful candidate will be ensuring we are delivering these activities effectively using robust governance and compliance. · Lead on the development of Weston Hospicecare’s Legacy and In Memory fundraising strategy, using your expertise to analyse activity and grow this area of income, building the financial resilience of the Hospice.
· Inspire support by developing a compelling Legacy fundraising proposition to encourage support from existing and new supporters.

Grant Funds
Lead on Cornwall Community Foundation contract liaison ensuring grant funding is delivered as planned, that the learning approach is embedded, reporting provides the data needed and that VSF has the communications content required.
Work with our learning partner to ensure learning events are well plan and that learning questions and plans are available well ahead of time.
Annually set the priority target areas for VCSE grant funding budgets, by facilitating discussion with the partnership and the Cornwall VSF team.
Ensure that learning is fully considered by the steering group and that delivery changes as a result of learning.
Ensure appropriate performance, impact and financial reporting processes are established for any grant elements within VSF’s management, governance procedures, and standards.
Personal health budgets
Working with wider VCSE partners, create a specification of what the programme requires from a PHB delivery provider, that includes guidance, process, forms, data, analysis, follow up with recipient and data capture and analysis from the follow up.

Communications
Work with the Communications (comms) Officer to create a communications strategy and delivery plan that will be shared with partners and funders.
Work with the Comms Officer to ensure that comms reporting metrics are determined so that appropriate data can be captured.
Oversee the creation of a comms brand strategy and guidance for the partnership, comms templates such as impact stories, case studies, requests for comms support, partner comms plans.
Ensure the comms officer works with partners to develop comms plans for their element of the service and that partners report back on their comms activities, this should be collated for impactful reporting to commissioners and for analysis on what has provided good return on either time or money spent.
Oversee the creation of social media channels for the contract and the social media strategy.
Work with Comms Officer to determine how to spend the modest comms budget, prioritising where the money is used and assessing the impact of the spend.
People with lived experience
Work with the Comms Officer to ensure that the voices of people with lived experiences are embedded in the strategy of the programme, by working either with other organisations such as Healthwatch and wider VCSE partners or by cultivating a specific programme group if necessary.
Ensure that this is embedded for the lifetime of the programme and that people with lived experience have a route to feedback about the services.
When feedback/steering is provided, ensure it is fed into the learning cycle.

The Manager will:
· Be an integral member of the team delivering Superkidz day to day activities and groups.

Job Purpose
With 10 years to achieve Agenda 2030, the SDG 6 targets on clean water, decent sanitation and good hygiene are among the furthest behind. Achieving universal, sustainable WASH will require a major mobilisation of resources, public demand and political will. Reporting to the Global Campaigns Director, this pivotal role works across the WaterAid federation to achieve the political and policy changes needed to ensure universal access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
Donor relationship management
- Develop lasting relationships with existing donors and new prospects, building and managing a portfolio of donors giving £5,000 upwards

Your previous experience with managing executives/senior volunteers will contribute to supporting the Director of Advancement in managing the activities and priorities of a volunteer-led fundraising board.
This is a pivotal new position created to contribute to a significant uplift in UWC International’s fundraising and prospect identification efforts in support of the new UWC Endowment and a future campaign. Your work will support the strategic and tactical planning and operational effectiveness of UWCI’s fundraising programme and the strategic development of global UWC funding priorities.

About UWC International
The UWC International Office serves as the operational arm of UWC International, a UK-registered and Germany-registered charity, and stands as a pivotal entity within the UWC movement. Positioned in central London and Berlin, it collaborates extensively with stakeholders across the UWC spectrum, actively engages a robust alumni community comprising more than 60,000 members, and fulfils essential functions for UWC International's governance bodies. Our primary duties encompass global fundraising initiatives, comprehensive communications strategies, promotional endeavours, support for the network of over 150 UWC national committees, global strategy development and implementation, and support services to the UWC schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but mighty team in a strategically important position as manager of our flagship Fair Water Footprints Programme. Over the past 15 years Water Witness has carved out a key role in holding governments, business, and investors to account for sustainable water management. In 2021 this work triggered the Glasgow Declaration for Fair Water Footprints - a breakthrough moment at COP26, when twenty-eight founding Signatories committed to end the abuse of water in our supply chains and establish water stewardship as the global business norm by 2030. With our partners we have secured significant funds to take forward and scale up this groundbreaking work which will harness trade, enterprise, and civic engagement to drive water justice and climate resilience as part of the UK’s Just Transition for Water Security.
The Programme Manager will be accountable for coordinating and delivering our contributions to the Fair Water Footprint Programme. These will include: the production and dissemination of influential water footprint assessments; pioneering new research and on-the-ground investigations; participatory planning, technical support and training with diverse partners; development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of action plans, advocacy and communication campaigns to secure improved water security for millions of people and systemic change at a sectoral and global scale.
The successful candidate will use their exceptional organisational and communication skills, technical know-how and experience of multi-stakeholder engagement and policy influence to shape this world-changing initiative and ensure impact. They will represent Water Witness at the highest levels, to convene and work constructively with leaders from public, private and financial sectors, civil society, and academia, to co-lead a partner coordination unit, and ensure value for money and impact through sub-contracts and grants.
This new position will play a central role in delivery of our wider 2030 Strategy, will support our country teams and line manage a Programme Officer. Once established they will take on a wider remit for effective delivery across our portfolio of exciting programmes.
