About You
We are looking for an experienced digital, data and technology professional who has substantial professional experience in the field. You will have a strong understanding of technology landscape, including data, cyber security, supplier and contract management, web, mobile, applications, collaboration tools, desktop systems, cloud solutions, and devices.
You will be well-versed in applying techniques, frameworks, and standards for technology development, release, maintenance, and support, working effectively with both in-house teams and third-party suppliers. A comprehensive and continually updated understanding of digital transformation trends and user experience, alongside experience in engaging and managing third-party suppliers, is key to this role. You will also demonstrate the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement in digital, data and technology across all levels of the College.
You will have experience of contributing to a director-level team, and reporting to boards, committees and the CEO. As part of your broad approach senior management, you will be able to contribute to the life of the College as part of the Executive Team, which has responsibility for strategic delivery and team leadership.
Relevant qualifications in design, development, management, and change methodologies such as PRINCE2, Scrum, ITIL, TOGAF, APM, or similar will be beneficial. It would also be desirable if you have experience in the membership, academic, or health sectors, with an understanding of their structures, governance models, and cultural dynamics.
About the Role
This is the primary role with responsibility for the delivery and assurance of core digital, data, technology, and related functions at the Royal College of Anaesthetists, at both a strategic and implementation level. The post-holder will report to the College’s CEO, sit on the Executive Team, and contribute across the College via staff engagement and through a range of committees and boards, including the Board of Trustees.
Key to the role are three functions:
- Ensuring the security and fitness for purpose of College’s digital, data and technology estate.
- Designing the College’s strategy for digital, data and technology in support of the overall College strategy and overseeing its implementation.
- Unifying all areas of technology responsibility across the College to ensure product development, processes and operations are aligned as a cohesive whole.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Take a proactive and collaborative approach to working with members of the Council, Board of Trustees and other stakeholders as required.
- Define, develop, lead and champion the College’s digital, data and technology strategy, ensuring that it is user-focused, resilient, sustainable, and demonstrably supporting our objectives and values.
- Ensure procurement achieves value for money and all expenditure supports the attainment of the College’s strategy and charitable aims, drafting business cases and negotiating and managing contracts as appropriate.
- Lead, motivate, and performance manage the IT Team ensuring that they focus on clear objectives, proactive collaboration across the College and wider sector, and are supported in their work.

Purpose of role
The International Board are seeking a senior International Fundraising Director with significant experience in major donor fundraising who will help drive the organisation’s fundraising strategy by strengthening and diversifying its fundraising sources. The Mission requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in international fundraising who will inspire our teams to differentiate and grow income as the organisation enters a new phase of strategic growth. The International Fundraising Director – with this focus on Major Donors - will provide leadership, oversight and guidance to the Mission’s national country fundraising directors - working with the International Director of Communication and Individual Fundraising and the wider fundraising team. They will work with major international donors and engage with field countries on targeted local fundraising and impact reporting.
As a strong communicator and strategic thinker with significant practical and direct fundraising experience, this Director will serve as a key member of the International Executive Team and report to the CEO and indirectly, the Mission Without Borders (MWB) International Board. They will have significant practical experience working with major donors, trusts and foundations, institutional and corporate fundraising.
Primary responsibilities
Donor development and outreach
· To provide strategic direction, leadership and drive for fundraising in all new development areas across the Mission. They will have direct responsibility for raising funds at the international level, leading cross organizational initiatives with a specific focus on major donors, trusts, and foundations - as this is currently an underdeveloped source of income for the Mission.
· Create coherent strategic plans for driving income growth, diversifying income sources and improving donor engagement, with a focus on major donors.
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures, particularly around major donors to ensure local and international consistency and compliance.
· Drive a relational fundraising culture by implementing systems and reporting to deliver effective supporter journeys with a focus on major donors.
· Lead in understanding of fundraising trends and working with wider fundraising team and national directors to improve agility in response to these trends.
· Understand and engage in program delivery needs and impact to ensure that donor and beneficiary journeys are linked and opportunities for major donor fundraising are deliverable.
· Utilize digital resources to drive engagement, reporting and strategy delivery.
· Be an active speaker at fundraising community events, conferences, and donor events.
Communications and marketing in major donors work and other areas within responsibility
· Drive the Mission’s communications and marketing strategy to achieve strategic objectives in major donors and in other areas within responsibility to include oversight of Mission websites to ensure accessible content, consistency in fundamentals across fundraising countries, strong user experience and improved digital engagement and giving for major donor initiatives.
Budgeting and reporting
· Have oversight of the annual and rolling five-year budgets for areas under responsibility to ensure local and international fundraising achieve overall strategic goals for income and related expenditure.
· Work closely with the CFO and CEO, Director of Individual Fundraising, and other senior executive personnel to drive annual planning and budgeting process.
· Drive consistency in restricted and unrestricted giving reporting.
Leadership and management
· Work with the International Executive team to drive Mission’s International Strategy.
· Collaborate and coach National Fundraising directors.
· Nurture team members in excellence in operational tasks as well as personal development, ensuring an engaged and fulfilled team.
· Participate in Mission events, training, and conferences to engage and inspire peers to drive strategic goals and ensure best practice.
· Network in the fundraising community.
Experience and Skills
· Relevant degree or equivalent in experience.
· Strong management and leadership skills, with a servant heart.
· Senior level experience as part of an international leadership team and managing international teams in complex environments.
· Proven experience working with major donors (£20,000+), trusts, foundations, institutional donors and corporates.
· Development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for fundraising, marketing and communications.
· Budgetary creation, management, monitoring and control.
· Brand development experience desired.
· History of work experience in an organisation with a similar ethos to MWB.
· Global knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice in fundraising and marketing.
Personal traits desired
· Be able to share the Christian aims and ethos of MWB and agree with the MWB Mission statement with a high degree of enthusiasm.

About the role.
The Director of Development and Head of Foundation will execute and evolve a recently developed strategy for a significant ramp-up in the fundraising activity of Wells Cathedral School Foundation, initially focused on funding bursaries and small-scale estate developments. They will also ensure the effective work of the School’s supporting bodies and lead on building good relations with alumni and delivering a legacy programme.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Implement our strategy for fundraising consistent with best practice and the objectives of the Foundation.
- To promote and develop the Foundation as the central charity in the School’s fundraising operation.
- Undertake direct fundraising, either individually or in conjunction with the Head Master and Foundation Trustees.
- Find innovative ways of engaging alumni and other friends of the School in Foundation and fundraising activities, including liaising with the Chair of the Old Wellensian (OW) Association for the planning and overseeing the organisation of appropriate alumni events and communications plans.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and other members of the wider WCS community, both nationally and internationally. This includes OWs, Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust (WCCT), Friends of Music and Wells Cathedral Choir Association (WCCA).
- Oversee the maintenance and development of the Toucan Tech CRM and community website. Grow and maintain a database of all volunteers, donors and donor prospects that supports the engagement and fundraising strategy.
- Cultivate and continue to grow a portfolio of potential major donor prospects and deliver significant gifts from individuals, organisations and businesses.
- Strengthen existing donor networks and develop further networks.
- Recruit and organise fundraising volunteers of alumni, parents, former parents and other friends and supporters of the School.
- Ensure the Wells Cathedral School Foundation meets its budgets and targets as appropriate.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

STRATEGY

Key Responsibilities
• The purpose of the Senior Copywriter is to use their highly experienced creative writing skills to develop engagement with as many people possible. Crafting compelling internal and external communications you will help generate the support we need to continue saving lives every day across Kent, Surrey and Sussex
• Generate creative and impactful written content targeting a range of audiences, across a range of channels, to raise awareness and engagement with our cause
• Generate powerful messaging for our fundraising and engagement campaigns. Ensure campaign key messaging works across varied channels and audiences, to deliver greater impact to new and existing supporters
• Work collaboratively with the MarComms Team and wider stakeholders to identify compelling creative ideas that resonate with target audiences and can be translated into multi-channel creative copy and content
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the charity to deepen understanding of the audiences we are targeting
• Working with the Head of Internal Communications, support the CEO and Senior Leadership Team’s internal communications by writing a weekly internal digital newsletter
• Help deepen engagement with our supporters by developing copy and content for the monthly supporter e-newsletter, Mission Update, sent to around 60K supporters and the bi-annual magazine, Above and Beyond sent to around 30K supporters
The Directorate
The Communications Team sits within the Marketing and Communications (MarComms) Team. The MarComms Team builds brand awareness and engagement among the public, builds our profile with the media and key stakeholders, and supports fundraising activities to generate fundraising income to keep the service running. The team also engages, motivates and unites staff across the organisation to help KSS deliver on its purpose and achieve its vision of an end to preventable loss of life from medical emergency.

About the role
The role of Change Programme Director is a new, fixed-term opportunity. The successful individual will report into the Chief Operating Officer (COO). And provide strategic leadership of the Foundation’s change programme portfolio (Our Future Foundation and Operational Improvement Programme).You will ensure cohesiveness and strategic alignment, and the effective delivery of change outcomes in accordance with best Organisational Development (OD) practices.

The role
We are seeking a Program Director who can complement the existing team by virtue of his or her experience in labour market economics, value chain transformation, and/or the prioritization of public-sector investment in critical economic sectors.
Program Directors work with their government counterparts to design and support implementation of transformative programs, and many of their government counterparts are prioritizing youth employment.
Program Directors are accountable to the CEO and are responsible for ensuring quality execution of programs; strengthening routine monitoring systems; leading evidence-based decision-making; and driving highly leveraged outcomes. Each Program Director will work on a variety of matters related to human capital development and contribute to programs in different African geographies.

Experience
To be successful you will need extensive experience with complex and large-scale program ideation and implementation, related to labour market interventions, value chain transformation, and public-sector investment, ideally in Sub-Saharan African countries.
You will have a good understanding of how governmental departments work (ideally with direct experience working within government) and have had significant interactions at high policy levels within governments, with proven experience in managing complex and politically sensitive relationships with different stakeholders. You will support the ambition of policy champions at national level.
Able to demonstrate methodical program oversight and management, you will need an exemplary work ethic with a drive for achieving concrete results from often complex environments.
Knowledge wise we are looking for strong understanding of labour markets and development economics; excellent data analysis skills; project finance/private sector experience could be advantageous.
This role will suit someone who is used to working at the most senior levels and brings excellent people skills and highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills. Fluency in French and/or widely spoken African languages is desirable

The role

Your responsibilities as the Head of Communications:
- Help position Power for Democracies as the "go to" evidence-based research and evaluation entity in the pro-democracy field with relevant stakeholders, donor groups, networks, institutions, and civil society spaces.
- Recruit and build the small communications team in charge of Power for Democracies’ communication and distribution formats, channels, and tools.
- Develop Power for Democracies' outreach and dissemination strategies (in close collaboration with the Knowledge + Research team) to gain meaningful attention from experts, the pro-democracy space, and donors alike.
