The individual giving team is responsible for driving sustainable growth through donor engagement, stewardship and acquisition. We are seeking a Fundraising Digital Marketing Lead to drive the development and implementation of our digital fundraising strategy. You will oversee campaigns across multiple digital platforms, engaging with new and existing supporters to drive donor acquisition, retention, and growth. 3. Strategy- Positioning CPI, prioritising our focus areas, sequencing our organizational development
CPI’s approach starts with a shift in values and thinking before driving system change and service design. CPI has a regionally federated structure, with authority appropriately devolved to trusted leaders across the organization. The CEO will play a critical role in uniting these efforts by identifying CPI’s core strengths and focus areas and clearly articulating strategic priorities for both the short and long term. At the same time, the CEO must ensure that CPI remains agile and responsive to emerging opportunities for growth and impact.
• Communicate CPI’s identity: Clarify and strengthen CPI’s identity. Ensure that our work, though complex, is communicated boldly and clearly to raise our profile. Our recent re-brand is part of this, but our next CEO will help craft a bolder, sharper presentation of who we are and how we serve.
• Global perspective and leadership: Continue to build a truly global organization, with a presence across multiple regions. While much of our team, work, and revenue are currently concentrated in the United States, we are committed to maintaining and expanding our international presence. The next CEO must have a global outlook, be comfortable working across different cultures, and actively support CPI’s vision of remaining a diverse and internationally balanced organization. REMUNERATION
At CPI, we are committed to aligning our compensation framework with the principles of fairness, equity, and transparency. We benchmark salaries using national, country-specific data and aim to offer compensation between the 50th and 75th percentiles for all staff roles. Additionally, we maintain a 5-to-1 ratio between the most senior and junior staff, ensuring that our compensation structure remains equitable across the organization.
For the CEO role, a competitive salary will be offered in line with local benchmarking for the country where the CEO is based. As a reference, in our two largest offices, the salary range for a UK-based CEO is £170,000-200,000, and for a US-based CEO, the range is $275,000-310,000. Beyond base salary, we take a holistic approach to compensation, offering a benefits package designed to support work-life balance. This includes a generous package and leave entitlement, comprehensive health care, and flexible working arrangements. CPI’s CEO would preferably be based in the US (East Coast) or Western Europe, but we are open to discussing other locations in an exceptional circumstance. Travel will be an important part of the role, with consideration given to climate impact and effective use of time and resources. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Direct Marketing and Fundraising Officer to join our Public Fundraising team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our fundraising activities, particularly during appeals, where your coordination skills will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Appeal Coordination:
- Assist the Direct Marketing Manager - Acquisition in keeping member agency fundraising directors and key suppliers up to date in the run-up to and during appeals.
- Update the fundraising and marketing team budget tracker, ensuring accurate financial tracking throughout the appeal process.
- Support the setup and management of Appeal Toolkits and Appeal Hubs, providing essential assets to staff, member agencies, and suppliers.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of creative projects across all direct marketing channels, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Work with the team to gather and report appeal results, providing updates to the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Executive Team, and CEO’s office.
Ongoing Responsibilities:

About the Investment team
The Investment team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our investments and supporting our portfolio partners to improve and scale their impact.
The Investment team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.
The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in school engagement, school attainment and employment sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 5). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.
The Investment team has a good track record of role progression. All four Leads and a number of our Investment Directors were promoted from within the team.

Job description – Senior Impact & Performance Analyst (SIPA)
The Senior Impact & Performance Analyst (SIPA) is essential to advancing Impetus's mission through providing a clear picture of both the impact of our portfolio partners and the effectiveness of Impetus's support. In so doing, it ensures that strong data collection, rigorous analysis, and actionable insights are at the heart of Impetus’s efforts.
This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented team player passionate about driving social impact. Collaborating closely with the Investment Director - Impact Lead, the SIPA will manage end-to-end data processes, from collection through to analysis and reporting, ensuring data remains accessible and actionable. This role then requires strong communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and portfolio partners, presenting insights clearly to enable impactful, data-informed decisions.
The SIPA will additionally develop performance management tools, such as those within Salesforce, and champion organisation-wide data accessibility.

The Senior Impact & Performance Analyst (SIPA) role at Impetus is integral to enabling us to do the same:
- To understand how our portfolio partners are performing: the impact they are having, the growth they are achieving and the progress they are making on EDI commitments.
- To understand how we are performing: how effective our support for portfolio partners is and the impact we’re having on them.
- To use insights from this information to enable our team to continually improve our support to our portfolio partners to help them become stronger, better and bigger; to reduce the gap between young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and their better-off peers in school attainment, access to university and finding and keeping a job.
Key responsibilities
1. Data collection and management
- Map annual performance reporting calendar for all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and develop templates and processes for i) collecting internal and external data and ii) generating key performance reports.
- Manage and develop performance databases and knowledge, ensuring i) they meet the needs of different users within Impetus, ii) compliance with GDPR and data security.
- Lead the collection of tri-annual performance and annual survey data from portfolio partners, Impetus teams and other stakeholders, including significant liaison with Investment Directors.
- Lead and document processes for auditing data quality and understanding nuances in data (e.g. the different outcomes our portfolio partners target, and the different groups of young people they work with).
2. Performance reporting, analysis, and presentation
- Support definition of KPIs and measurement scales where relevant.
- Produce regular performance reports vs. KPIs for key stakeholders: Investment Team, all staff, Investment Committee, SMT, Board, and Impetus’ donors and co-investors.
- In collaboration with the Investment Director, run our tri-annual ‘portfolio review’ process, incl. data collection from portfolio partners, analyses on performance data, pulling-out key insights and risks, agenda-setting, session-planning, facilitation and follow-up.
- On an annual basis run more detailed and comprehensive analyses on performance data, including portfolio partner outcomes vs. benchmarks, to inform the focus of our annual review. The Annual Review aims to give a full view of our impact and value for money in the year and seeks to improve our programme of capacity-building support.
- Produce clear and insightful summary presentations in PowerPoint, for a range of audiences.
- Design and develop tools to help make information more accessible for a range of stakeholders, including external comms.
- Present and communicate data (incl. in ad-hoc reports) to help facilitate discussions, enhance our work, and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Document and track progress against agreed actions from Annual Review and Portfolio Reviews, including for strategic planning and projects; implementing relevant actions where appropriate.
3. Leading on key organisational and ad hoc data/performance projects to deepen understanding of Impetus’ and our portfolio partners’ performance and impact
- Support in the development and ongoing review of Investment team and Impetus-wide impact strategy, plus the scoping and planning of projects within this.
- Play a leading role in ongoing efforts to benchmark portfolio partner outcomes and trace the impact of Impetus’ work on charity performance, including with a value for money lens.
- Lead efforts to transfer all portfolio partner performance data and collection onto Salesforce, including advising the Digital team, wireframing, setting up accessible dashboards and supporting change management efforts.
- Lead ad hoc data/performance projects, such as: i) cross-portfolio analyses of portfolio partner income, costs, staffing and EDI metrics, and ii) supporting portfolio partners to upskill data/ impact management capabilities.
- Work closely with Impetus’ Communications team to support efforts to ensure all staff have a strong understanding of our impact, and that of our portfolio partners, and are confident in speaking to it in their respective work (e.g. Philanthropy in pitching, Public Affairs in comms. on our impact/ use in policy work).
- Be Impetus’ key point of contact for data and impact, providing support, advice and training on data management and analysis for the wider Impetus team where needed, including contributing to digital transformation efforts.
The SIPA may also be asked to support on other workstreams on an ad-hoc basis.
Person specification
Essential
- Passion for drawing insight from data to continually improve performance and impact, with a strong affinity to Impetus’ mission and EDI commitments.
- A background including data analysis, with the ability to produce high-quality outputs to clearly explain findings and tell a meaningful story.
- Highly analytical and numerate:
- Experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from sometimes large and nuanced data sets.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of working with CRM systems (experience with Salesforce a bonus).
- Highly attentive to detail, with a clear approach to auditing own work and analyses, and suggesting process improvements.

Position: Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking an operational and people focussed Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Executive Team. You will drive development of all financial and operational management, processes and reporting, overseeing the organisation’s day-to-day operations including the leadership of Finance, People, Governance, Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and Digital.
The successful candidate will have held broad finance and operations positions, with a track record of interacting at Board level and presenting clear financial and management information. Whilst you don’t have to be financially qualified, we do need someone with strong financial acumen and demonstrable ability to monitor, interpret and communicate financial information effectively. You will have experience in implementing new and/or successful improvements to existing systems and processes, with a track record of driving organisational change. The post holder will have a good understanding of regulation and best practice alongside the ability to develop efficient processes and controls in line with our governance framework. Ensuring that people are at the centre of the Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) you will play a key role within the Executive team supporting the charity to achieve sustainable growth and delivery of efficient and effective services ensuring plans are developed and implemented, and targets are met.
You will have a passion for our purpose, commitment to our mission and alignment with our organisational values. Whilst being robust about process, you need to be able to flex to changing circumstances and be skilled at getting the best out of people as well as driving a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Crucially, you will be wholly committed to driving forward the core infrastructure for our work supporting nurses and midwives in leadership development to improve health and care outcomes.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

Proven experience as a senior leader in ideally a non-profit or public sector organisation

Strong and extensive operations management experience, financial leadership and programme delivery

As the Governance and Executive Officer, you will work closely with the CEO and Director of Corporate Services, providing strategic analysis, coordination, and executive support to ensure smooth and efficient internal operations.
You will contribute to the effectiveness of Bonsucro’s governance through efficient coordination of Board meetings and process oversight. The role will also involve conducting strategic research and analysis to inform corporate strategies and policies.
The Governance and Executive Officer will assist the CEO prepare for impactful public engagements, corporate events, and key meetings and liaise across departments to drive initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.
The ideal applicant will have significant previous experience providing high level administrative support to senior staff, ideally in a small to medium-sized not for profit organization. They will bring great attention to detail, their own initiative to move things forward and an ability to innovate to achieve a smooth running of the executive and corporate services functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide services supporting the governance of Bonsucro through monitoring internal governance processes, organisation of quarterly meetings of the Board of Directors and preparation of associated documents and minute-taking
- Conduct desk research and provide analytical insights to assist in the development of corporate strategies and policies.
- Assist the CEO’s preparation for public engagements, meetings, and corporate events, ensuring that they are well organised and informed for high-impact interactions.
- Act as a liaison between CEO and departments, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery of tasks or inputs needed from various units.
- Coordinate and/or deliver key initiatives or special projects that fall under CEO or Director of Corporate Services purview, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives.
- Provide support to the Secretariat, Board, and their committees by organising meetings and preparing accurate, concise minutes.
Person Specification
Essential criteria
Substantial experience in a similar role, ideally providing high level administrative/ governance/ secretariat support to senior staff in an not for profit setting
Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to work with multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail
Proficient user of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel and able to use other systems, such as CRM, etc
Familiarity with online communications tools (e.g. Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Strong ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative to deliver reliable services
Comfortable working in an international environment with appreciation of cultural differences
Able to find innovative solutions to ensure efficiency and effective delivery of duties
Interest in sustainability
