Role Purpose: Lead strategic direction and operational management of KLS’ Refugee Family Programme, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, responsive service delivery, and community impact maximization.

Key Responsibilities:

The Model of Care and Quality Improvement Officer role is all about making sure that the care and support models developed and implemented by the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN) are effective, efficient and of high quality. The post holder will support the work around the current and ongoing development of the model of care to make sure that the NGSN is delivering against best practice and evidence-based interventions, supporting quality improvement.  

You'll be working with the Quality and Performance Manager and providers to: 

• Develop and implement an NGSN model of care. 
• Monitor quality and performance standards as part of the commissioning process.
• Support the tracking of the evaluation and delivery of related project milestones.
• Work with colleagues so that findings of good practice and/or lessons learnt are built into future service planning, delivery, and improvement.
• Work with colleagues to build capacity, quality and continuously improve performance standards within GambleAware and commissioned services. 
• Provide quality and performance information of the peer review process, contributing to interim evaluation reports and outputs where appropriate.

About the Role

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide high-level general administration for the Quality and Standards team who is responsible for raising standards through the learning lab educator platform, using benchmarking resource products, to empower young people and champion future skills.

Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Administrative support to raise standards - Learning Lab:
• Support the engagement plan activities for educators to use the online learning platform and to access educational benchmarked resources.
• To aid the Digital Skills Development Manager to support the creation of editorial and marketing scripts.

2. Administrative support to empower young people - Benchmarking Resources and National Standards:
• To assist the Quality and Standards Manager to develop teaching tools for educators in colleges and training providers.
• Effectively support the co-ordination of resources (including agencies, suppliers, volunteers, and partners) so that all project elements are delivered to acceptable standards and meet the required outcomes.

3. Support to champion future skills – Competition portfolio reviews and audit:

• Producing and distributing accurate records of meetings. Acting as secretariat for meetings that are either in person or virtual that will include setting up meetings using Zoom or Teams, minute taking, and recording actions.

4. Operational Impact:

• Administration and co-ordination of activities in line with the project operational plan

• Liaising with educator partners to ensure key quality assurance documentation is submitted to deadlines and collated on the appropriate systems.

BEO is a civil rights charity that was set up to challenge and dismantle systemic racism. We work with Black communities by using campaigning, policy and research in conjunction with the law to effect meaningful change. 
Legal services are central to BEO. We are therefore looking for someone of 4yrs PQE who has experience in social welfare, human rights, public and administration law and who seeks an opportunity to use those skills specifically in the area of challenging systemic racism. 

In the last year we have been developing our relationships with partner organisations, ranging from community groups, our stakeholder law firms, NGOs and law firms experienced in equality and discrimination law, to deliver legal services. The role holder will be required to build on and expand these relationships so that BEO can offer quality legal advice to Back communities in the nations and regions across the United Kingdom. 
We are building our internal legal team so that we can provide targeted legal support to Black communities. We are looking for someone to work with the Director of Legal Services and Policy to ensure that high quality legal advice, support and representation are the hallmark of BEO. 

Apart from delivering targeted legal advice and representation and identifying and running strategic litigation cases, the role holder will be required to think creatively to assist in fundraising and campaigning to develop a sustainable legal service. BEO does not have a Legal Aid Agency contract so self funds all legal work. BEO is a small team, so the role holder must have the skills and confidence to work on their own initiative as well as with members of other teams in BEO.

What does the Global Grant Manager, Finance & Operations role involve? 

The Global Grants Manager is a critical role at CPI, primarily focused on enhancing the operational efficiency and financial compliance of our grant funded programmes. Reporting directly to the Acting Global Director of People, Finance, and Operations, this position requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in finance and grants management, who will work closely with programmatic teams and partner with stakeholders across the organisation. 

The role will involve working directly with large global funders, as well as directly with sub grantees and suppliers on CPI programmes. This role will also provide overall finance support to our Europe team in collaboration with our Global Senior Associate, Finance and Operations. Our managers have overall responsibilities, obligations and duties around finance, budget performance, and strategic development. They create protocols and policies needed to help with organisational and programmatic delivery. This role will be responsible for receiving and reviewing partner expenditures and reports and preparing consolidated financial reports for donors as well as be accountable for day to day grant management and administration.

As someone whose work will include building relationships with everyone at CPI, you will be responsible for making sure our global teams are set up to succeed and assist in keeping our workplace a great place to work for everyone. This role will largely be focused on our Europe team, however you will support all CPI regions worldwide. 

Key responsibilities include: 

Finance & Accounting

• Support efficient operations in accounts receivable and accounts payable in Europe and other CPI regions where required

• Support donor compliance during reporting by using the right templates and budgetary ceilings as applicable 

• Assist the Finance & Operations team during the month end process to ensure that all balance sheet items are all accounted and reconciled with their respective subsidiary ledgers and/or schedules and all contra or clearance accounts are cleared at the end of every month

• Assist the Finance & Operations team in preparing annual financial plans for effective financial management of the global teams

• Assist the Finance & Operations team in preparing monthly management reports and performing bi-monthly forecasting

• Contracting & Operations

  • Work with global teams in drafting funder, grantee and/or supplier contracts to support the delivery of our programmatic activity

  • Onboarding suppliers into our financial systems and ensuring purchase orders are raised that follow our internal financial policies & procedures

  • Liaise with legal, auditors and other advisors to ensure CPI’s operations in Europe remain legally compliant

  • Work with Finance & Operations team on maintaining and updating risk registers to track key corporate risks and ensure mitigants and financial controls are working as expected

  • Work with the CPIE team to ensure a financial risk assessment is maintained and updated and addressing any suspicions of fraud in line with policy

• Audits

  • Work with the CPIE team and F&O team to ensure programmes are audit ready

  • Coordinate donor audits on assigned programmes

  • Support the team in ensuring that any recommendations and actions resulting from audits are duly actioned and implemented

• Donor & Grants Management

  • Support our project teams to ensure programmes are implemented in line with Donor policies and requirements 

  • Lead the sub granting process for all implementing partners and consortiums in collaboration with the relevant regional/project teams

  • Ensure that the necessary information is documented, tracked and updated on the appropriate financial transaction and reporting tools

  • Lead on the preparations of budget versus actuals to support ongoing grants decision, identify deviations in implementation progress and flag delays/request for support

  • Proactively update Senior leadership on progress, risks and financial status

Who are we looking for? 

The person we’re looking for will:

The Programme Officer is responsible for leading and managing BelEve’s youth development programmes, activities, and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth empowerment.

Reporting to the Programme Director, this role will support the strategic planning, programme development, staff supervision, community engagement, and advocacy to ensure the successful implementation and impact of BelEve youth-focused initiatives.

You will need to be a strong team player with a genuine passion for social mobility and dedication. You will have the ability to work independently with high levels of self-motivation alongside the skills to problem-solve and make decisions to deliver all aspects of a programme end to end, from design to reporting and evaluation.

You will lead a team of facilitators, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our youth programmes while embodying the values and mission of our charity.

The duties listed below all feed into a business development objective to reach more schools & participants, attract new funders, build brand equity, grow a portfolio of current offerings to reach both financial and impact goals detailed in the 5-year strategy and beyond.

This role will be based in London and may require attendance at training events and meetings in the evening.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Programme Leadership

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of BelEve programmes.

2. Facilitation

Assist in leading various programmes, workshops, or activities designed for the young people in our community. These could include educational sessions, recreational activities, skill-building workshops, or support groups.

3. Strategic Planning

Responsible for the delivery of long-term strategic plans and goals for youth development initiatives in alignment with BelEve’s objectives.

4. Staff Supervision

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to a team of youth facilitators, and volunteers. Delegate tasks set performance expectations, and conduct regular supervision to ensure staff effectiveness and professional growth.

5. Community Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with our community organisations, schools, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance collaboration and resource-sharing for youth development efforts.

6. Advocacy and Outreach

Advocate for the rights and interests of young people at the local, regional, and national levels. Raise awareness about issues affecting youth and mobilise support for positive change through advocacy campaigns, media outreach, and community organising efforts.

7. Evaluation and Assessment (Quality assurance)

Support the Programme Director in implementing methods for assessing the effectiveness and impact of youth programmes, including collecting data, measuring outcomes, and reporting findings to stakeholders.

8. Training and Capacity Building

Provide training, workshops, and professional development opportunities for staff members, volunteers, and community partners to enhance their skills and knowledge.

9. Risk Assessment

Identify and mitigate risks related to BelEve programme implementation, participant safety, and organisational liability. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and security of youth participants and staff.

10. Collaboration and Networking

Collaborate with colleagues across BelEve to integrate youth development efforts into the organisation's overall mission and strategic priorities of the organisation. Participate in professional networks and forums to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in youth development.

St Hilda’s East has a 135-year history of combating deprivation and social exclusion in East London. Age UK has a new and unique opportunity for a Volunteer Systems Manager to join our Volunteering team!

Age UK has recently started a long journey to roll out and evolve our new volunteer system. Which includes automation of processes, integrated vetting and learning functions and so much more- the dynamic management and development of this system requires this role to take the platform forward.

While not a highly technical role, the successful candidate will take ownership of the new volunteer system day-to-day operation. They will understand the needs and challenges of users and work closely with the Digital & Technology support teams to maximise the system's potential and support a great volunteer experience by ensuring quality content, efficient processes, user engagement and on-going development.

Initially, you will focus on the external roll-out of this system to local partner organisations. Once the system is established, you will also focus a proportion of your time on operational oversight and planning and delivering future improvements as sought by stakeholders. The volunteer system will support hundreds of volunteer managers and tens of thousands of volunteers to have a great experience with Age UK and the network of local partner organisations.

This role offers hybrid working, with working both in our offices and at home. The successful person needs to be based within commuting distance to work once per week in our London - Tower Hill offices.

Volunteers play an integral role in the organisation's ability to deliver services and operations with and for older people. With around 26,000 formal volunteers and a further 141,000 virtual campaigners,
maximising the benefit of the technology Age UK and our network of Brand Partner organisations use to recruit, support and retain volunteers is vital.

Furthering Talent helps musicians from the earliest stage in their musical journey. The programme is specifically designed to help young people from low income families sustain their musical learning after initial state-funded whole-class lessons end, so they can keep on progressing and playing music well into their teens and beyond. The programme aims to effect significant change in how the musical potential of young people from low-income families is identified and supported.

The role

You will be the first point of contact and support for the team of Connectors in your Hubs, attending Teachers’ Forums and Get Togethers where possible and helping with the coordination of data gathering and management. You will help drive the promotion of the Connector role and handle any incoming Connector enquiries via the Young Sounds website, allocating them to the appropriate Connector. You will oversee the mentoring and youth voice offer in each Hub. You will be a champion for Young Sounds’ musically inclusive approach throughout the sector and will support the promotion of Young Sounds’ CPD and learning resources, especially the Charanga hosted Individual Learning Plan.
