Evolve, a leading mental health counselling charity, is seeking a part-time administrator receptionist, to be the first point of contact for clients seeking our non-emergency professional mental health counselling services.
The postholder will manage phone calls and web enquiries through to successful conclusions via our Head of Counselling and their team of over fifty counsellors, creating and maintaining client records with Charitylog – a client records management system.
They will be the key source of information and support for this team of counsellors, who all work remotely currently across greater Cambridgeshire, Northants, and Peterborough areas, making sure they have all necessary support and information for their roles.
Our administrator will also organise and manage all other corporate information for the Trustee Board, the CEO, and their leadership team plus our volunteer staff – building an effective ‘memory’ for Evolve and helping us to grow and support more people.
More than a conduit for enquiries, the successful applicant will be initiative-taking and self-directing, taking immediate action and ownership of their tasks and ensuring 100% completion. A high degree of professionalism, and a regard for boundaries and confidentially are essentials, as is resilience for a sometimes-challenging role at a time of change and growth in Evolve. Strong abilities in the use of IT and especially records management systems are vital for this post.

Location: Scotland South (Dumfries & Galloway, South & East Ayrshire, North & South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, East & West Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Dunbartonshire, Inverclyde, East Renfrewshire)
Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working for events
Salary: Up to £32,013.24 per annum

Responsibilities of our Community Fundraising Officer:
- This role supports the delivery, growth and reach of community fundraising in a defined geographical location and supports the development and delivery of a local fundraising strategy in line with the organisation’s broader income generation objectives.
- The Community Fundraising Officer will establish, implement, develop and maximize all community fundraising opportunities, increase income, deliver exceptional supporter stewardship and exemplary volunteer management, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraising Hub Manager and Community Fundraising Volunteer Team Leader to build on past successes and develop a diverse pipeline of community fundraising events and activities that respond to local audience needs.
- The role will also build and develop exceptional fundraising relationships with supporters and volunteers within the defined geographical location to harness the power of our local footprint and raise income and awarenes
About the Community Fundraising team:
- We sit within the Community Events team
- Our team is responsible for leading and supporting community activites to drive and grow our community fundraised income.
- We currently have a team of 30+
What we’re looking for in our Community Fundraising Officer:
- Evidence of raising funds in a community fundraising environment
- Planning, organising and delivering campaigns, activities and plans including marketing.
- Evidence of working to and achieving objectives
- Direct experience of working with volunteers
- A valid UK driving license and access to a car

The Child Brain Injury Trust was originally set up by a group of medical professionals. The organisation has evolved over the years and is now the leading UK organisation supporting families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury. As Head of our Brain Injury Service, you will be joining the charity at an exciting time, as we have just launched our new five-year strategy – Elevating families, enriching futures. The strategy is our most exciting yet as we look to increase our reach and embed 4 key areas of support: early intervention (currently we work in major trauma centres and specialist hospitals across the UK), community inclusion, educational services and virtual support. We are developing our service in line with the future needs of families and as such we are looking to appoint an individual who is passionate about childhood acquired brain injury, team development and leadership. The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director to help lead, develop and grow our Evaluation practice. The Director will sit on our Practice Board and be a key part of the leadership team guiding the success of the practice both commercially and in terms of social impact.
We design and deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions for children using good evidence. We work with more than 1,400 schools and 80 education organisations each year, with a wide range of partners including schools and multi-academy Trusts, charities and edtech companies, and the public sector.
The Director role will lead business development and strategic partnerships, support and oversee evaluation delivery, and hold a number of strategic responsibilities. For the right candidate we hope it will be both a challenging and rewarding opportunity to shape the direction of a growing social enterprise and help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with experience in research and evaluation, business development, and leadership and management. We are particularly interested in experience of delivering quantitative impact evaluations, though are open to hearing from a range of candidates. Experience and understanding of the UK education system would also be an asset.
