The Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) is a registered charity working with schools, colleges and communities across the country to raise awareness about the Holocaust and its relevance today.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we have recently launched Testimony 360, a brand-new digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students are able to have a personal and conversational experience with a recording of a Holocaust survivor before seeing some of the sites they experienced for themselves using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will help lead the multidisciplinary Testimony 360 team and play a key role in continuing to develop this new and exciting programme – they will project manage all further phases of work, inclusive of research, development, testing and delivery, and support with the day to day running of the programme throughout its first year. We are looking for an inspirational individual with versatile project management skills, who can deliver successful outcomes and realise our ambitious vision for this important ongoing project.
Responsibilities
·Lead on all elements of continued project development from planning through to completion of each phase of work, supporting the Deputy Director of Programmes in communicating priorities and timeframes to a highly skilled team in a fast-paced environment.
·Utilize and develop existing project management systems as needed to allow the team to understand the journey from visualisation to creation of a digital educational programme. You will oversee specific workstreams that are already underway, as well as plan for new and additional workstreams which will evolve as the project continues to grow.
·Support the Deputy Director of Programmes with preparations for meetings with a highly engaged project board, whilst maintaining excellent communication with a wide range of supporters, advisors and stakeholders.
·Manage the main contracts, delivering the project to scope and budget. You’ll oversee multiple connected work-streams and ensure they are coordinated according to the overall project brief and programme.
·Work with international and national partners, ensuring regular and collaborative communications, and implementing projects to agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality.
·Pro-actively identify challenges and risks to programme implementation, ensuring these are raised and addressed in an appropriate manner.
·Responsible for monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and ensuring timely and effective reporting across the team, Trustees, and sponsor groups.
·Managing sub-contracts including monitoring finances and expenditure; Tracking both project and programme spending, highlighting potential under/over-spends and proposing solutions.
·Working with the insights and data lead, and other colleagues in the team, to capture and disseminate project learning and ensure that this learning is used to tailor and adjust the project approach in order to maximise impact.
·Using project management systems and experience, support the Testimony 360 team in planning for and executing day to day delivery of the programme in its first year of roll out as needed.

The role

Our CRM Database Manager will play a critical role, developing our data infrastructure and CRM capability to support our organisational strategy, specifically to:
• Grow and engage supporters, developing strategies to support the roll out of an emergent individual giving programme, and developing an excellent user experience

• Manage membership and supporter data to enable effective segmentation for communication and campaigning
• Assist the DPO in ensuring teams remain compliant in relation to data protection, fundraising, and the provision of services by providing guidance and reviewing existing processes and policies and keeping these up to date.
You’ll be experienced and self-motivated with a real belief in the power of CRM and data. You’ll develop our data integrity and drive change through more effective use of data for decision making and communication. You’ll also nurture and develop CRM use to meet organisational ambition and demand.

Visiting children are immersed in the natural world of countryside through a food and farming offer that allows them to participate in the seasonal tasks of the day: sowing, growing and harvesting in our kitchen gardens; caring for livestock and looking after the land; and cooking up a home-grown feast in the farmhouse kitchen. About the Role
This role will be responsible for developing the vision and direction of the Communication and Marketing Strategy but will fundamentally be an operational management delivery role. Responsible for developing and rolling out a multi‐channel communication and marketing strategy that will:
- raise the profile of the charity by communicating news about projects, programmes, and partnerships on social channels, on online and print media outlets, TV networks,
- deliver communications to generate sales to secure a pipeline of farm residential visit bookings from beneficiary groups (being children from schools in disadvantaged communities, youth groups, young carers, children in care, etc) across England and Wales.
- secure income from fundraising by communicating the charity’s mission, vision, and values to donors, funders, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners.
The successful applicant will have considerable experience of developing and delivering a communication and marketing strategy as well as experience of designing and delivering multi-channel sales and marketing campaigns. Excellent people skills are key, as you will need to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Raising the profile of the Charity by devising and implementing a beneficiary‐focused communications strategy that supports both the sales and fundraising function, including print, social, and online communications that target teachers and other adults who are key decision makers for our beneficiaries.
- Developing and embedding an integrated communications and marketing strategy to deliver the ambitions of the Business plan, to reach new markets and successfully translate connections into bookings (‘sales’) or generate income from funders to support fundraising.
- Leading on the management and development of all channels of communication for the Charity: social media, website, YouTube channel, print media.
This position is home based but you will be required to travel to our farms and Head Office based in Exeter as required in order to fulfil the role.

About the role
SolarAid have a small but very loyal base of individual supporters providing £1 million a year in donations, from sums of a few pounds to major gifts and, increasingly, legacies. Attracting donations from individuals that we wish to grow. This role will be important to help enable that.

This is an exciting role, joining our newly formed Digital and Content team. As the organisation continues to invest in its digital estate to support organisational goals, the role of Senior Digital Project Manager will play a key role. In 2023, we launched an online information hub for our carers where they can find out about services that can support them in their journey. This currently sits separate to our main site. We are now working with Studio24 to bring these sites together, to create a unified user experience, with new website functionality. A key consideration for this development is our recent Department for Education contract to deliver high quality training to carers across England. As part of this service, we must ensure that carers can seamlessly book online or face-to-face training through our website. Additionally, they should have access to a wide range of online information and advice content. While some of this functionality exists within our current digital estate, not all of it does and there is room for improvement. Therefore, the redevelopment project aims to create a cohesive website experience with clear user journeys and new functionality.
The type of person we’re looking for:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in project management and UX. You will be experienced in managing complex digital projects throughout their lifecycle. You will be able to work collaboratively and have excellent communication skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders. An exciting opportunity exists for a Digital Communications Manager to join the team. Who are we looking for?

Working closely with people in prison, prison managers, Shannon Trust staff and volunteers you will ensure development of our criminal programmes maximising literacy and numeracy learning opportunities for people across a number of prisons and contracts in your area. Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings, managing teams and contract performance, underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. This is a prison based role and also requires travel across the Kent area.

The opportunity
The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) is the charity for the working animals of the world. Since 1923, working through a series of global projects and partnerships across 23 low-income countries, SPANA has supported the welfare of working donkeys, horses, camels, oxen and other working animals in communities that depend on them for water, transport, agriculture, and their very survival.
Your key responsibilities include:
Digital Programme management
- Develop, implement and optimise innovative multi-channel digital strategies that drive online visibility and performance on platforms such as web, e-mail, organic social and paid media.
- Develop, implement and optimise effective digital campaigns to target audiences to meet fundraising KPIs, enhance brand awareness and drive new leads.

- Work with the Head Marketing & Digital to set and manage annual digital budgets.
- Provide support for digital team colleagues during absences.
- Provide social media monitoring and out of hours cover where necessary.
- Stay informed of upcoming trends and developments within the field of digital marketing and make recommendations accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead on digital marketing scheduling and develop digital marketing strategies and tactics that will enable Samaritans to continue to be effective into the future.

Cumberland Lodge, based in Windsor Great Park, is an educational charity that exists to provide young people with the skills, perspective, and confidence to question, challenge, and understand, some of the most complex social issues of our time. The successful candidate will be responsible for pro-actively generating new business enquiries and opportunities for Cumberland Lodge, with the objective of maximising occupancy and income within the charitable and operational policies we work to.
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
Working closely with: Meeting & Events Manager, Hospitality Director, Communications & Engagement team
Strategic planning and execution
- Develop and implement the business development and marketing strategy aligned with our organisational goals.
- Lead the creation of multi-channel marketing plans to drive lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Oversee the delivery of venue marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional channels.
Market awareness
- Analyse data and insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign adjustments.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Undertake regular benchmarking of Cumberland Lodge’s conference facilities, services and charges against local competitors, identifying market trends, opportunities, and competitive rates.
Lead generation and client acquisition
- Develop strategies to generate high-quality leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential new clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships to expand the client base.
Event promotion and coordination
- Collaborate with the Meeting & Events and Communications & Engagement teams to promote upcoming business development and marketing events, and maximise attendance.

Person specification

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Based at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park. (Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, therefore access to a car would be beneficial).
Benefits
Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation. Use of a company car for business-related trips.
